Legonaut Posted October 28, 2020 Posted October 28, 2020 Terraversa is at war and every man that can handle a gun is supposed to fight against the bluecoats. Peoples Militias are formed everywhere, this is the price of war that has to be paid for freedom. Some last minute help for Terraversa Quote
Ayrlego Posted October 28, 2020 Posted October 28, 2020 The simplicity of the landscape I think really helps to accentuate the poignant nature of the scene. I really love the militiamen as well. They prove you don't need to have custom torsos to have brilliant looking Terraversan troops! nice work! Quote
Bodi Posted October 28, 2020 Posted October 28, 2020 Nice job with the variation of terrain, nice minifigs too. Quote
JintaiZ Posted October 28, 2020 Posted October 28, 2020 A simple, yet fun build! Sometimes the simplest things are the best!!! Quote
Mesabi Posted October 28, 2020 Posted October 28, 2020 Looks excellent Legonaut, I like the clean nature of the build. It actually looks great without the scatter. great job! Quote
Darnok Posted October 28, 2020 Posted October 28, 2020 (edited) I can only echo others, the simplicity* of the build gives focus to the emotionality of the scene - which is well shown in the minifig choice, positioning and posing. Overall great job, I really like this one a lot! * ... as in "how simple the result looks at first glance", as the build itself is without a doubt quite a bit complicated - loving that style of custom bases by the way! Bregir Posted October 28, 2020 Posted October 28, 2020 Perfect example of "less is more" - this scene really conveys to me the emotions involved in sending someone off to war. Reminds me of leaving for my own tour of duty, even if that was a lot less dangerous than an invasion of my homeland! Quote
Khorne Posted October 28, 2020 Posted October 28, 2020 The way you did the color transition from tan to dark green is beautiful. I can only echo what the others have already said, but the simplicity of the scene adds to its strength. The figure builds and positioning are perfect too. Quote
