Shadows Posted June 2, 2008 Posted June 2, 2008 Despite what the LEGO designers think, LEGO clocks don't only need to be right twice a day. No, you can make a clock for any time you want! Ok, so that specific one will only be right twice a day, but you could print lots of them and change as necessary. Take that! This is my first design. I kept it simple. It prints on either a round or normal 2x2 tile. All of the colours may be changed fairly easily, except the numbers. Using a simple fill tool, you can change the light grey background, the clock frame and the hands. Using a colour replacer, you can change the pure white face to something else (or with a normal fill tool, if you make sure to get the spots inside the 6 and 9). The numbers can't really be changed easily, but the non-number hour markers can. I might do more of these in fancier designs eventually. As it stands, this was a test. I wanted to see if it was possible to make a decent basic clock with all the hands necessary to mark all of the hours, and all of the major intervals. Need a clock to say 4:55? Got it! Need 11:20? Got it! Need 9:43? Get out of town! Click thumbnails for full size decals. So there we go. 600dpi as always. Copy the hour and minute hands you need and paste them in the middle of the face. I can't come up with easier way to do this, but would be happy to hear suggestions. Thanks for looking! Quote
Asuka Posted June 2, 2008 Posted June 2, 2008 A good idea and a fine work indeed. Perhaps some single minute and hour hands could do the job too if it´s possible to print them on a transparent background.... Quote
