Island description: The most northern island of significant size in the island chain known as ‘the lowers’. This island features large numbers of small rocky bays. These bays form many small natural harbours and coves that are sometimes very well concealed from the open water. Streams and inlets from the interior provide a reliable supply of fresh water to most of these shelters. The interior raises up into very large hills and small mountains which are covered in thick, verdant jungle.
