I think she was refering to me as I said that the only way these sets would be disappointing if they werent playsets but brickbuilds

Yeah I know, she quoted me tho.

They have shared nothing which could be considered useful information besides vague warnings about emotions they or we will feel. Promobricks and the catalogue leak are the sources for the information we have (june and onwards). I could also speculate about your future emotions or things you like or dislike, but I wouldn't call myself an "informant" - it's more like a Freudian psychologist.

If I knew the information, kept it for myself and would read this forum from time to time, I would have fits of laughter over the hysteria my vague comments caused.

I agree with you but be careful or Clone OPatra will shut this thread again for whatever reason.... Yeah Promobricks is our only hope now and I think they already know what these sets are.

Exactly it. I used one quote as a springboard for a wider comment, rather than filling up the board with several quotes just to offer my view on them all in one go.

I’m not so sure about that, just because they have prices and part counts doesn’t mean they know the sets’ names (or more). They’ve also had the same information about other unknown sets for quite a while now (Mario & Marvel for instance)

On top of that, even if they have rumours as to what the sets might be, they won't rush to shout about it until they can be more certain. Nothing better to take a site's credibility than dealing in fake leaks - so they're 100% going to wait until they know for sure that their information is accurate.

We already discussed this a few pages ago.

Is Promobricks wrong with the release dates of the august wave? Because almost every set is listed for june.

Yeah, they mess the dates on this list regularly.

Thanks. Otherwise I understood why Guyon and Falcon are saying the august wave is disappointing 😅

Yeah it would be funny if there wasnt any august wave after all :DDD

Imagine if it turns out that the second wave sets are pure fire, a perfect Gringotts and a Hogwarts Belltower and everything else we've asked for, but they're actually released in June, and the only August set is a GWP microscale Mrs Figg's House or something else disappointing. Guyon and Falconfan would have been all Obi-Wan on us: "what we told you was true, from a certain point of view" :pir-wench:

But wouldnt they tell us that august wave sets which they are warning us about are not those which are listed on Promobricks?

They probably would, which I do admit kills my outlandish hypothesis. Still, it amused me to think of it.

Oh no problem, no need to be sorry. I just didn't understand what you were trying to say

I meant that Guyon would tell us if unknown sets on Promobricks and rumored (disappointing) august wave were two separate things.

The info Promobricks has listed is the same stuff I posted here back in October, just with added piececounts.

Hoping for some more factory minifig leaks from the June wave. It’ll be nice to get a better look at those figures. I’m also secretly hoping that the House sweaters in the bathroom and Fluffy sets are placeholders, however unlikely that might be. Give us Slytherin robes and scene accurate printing!

I’m hoping the ones in the Fluffy set will have the colorful sweaters they used in that scene. If I see the trio in their jumpers one more time I’ll be sick to my stomach.

Yeah, and school robes in the bathroom set. If we get the same characters in two sets at least give us different variants.

If they’re not placeholders, the Fluffy set wins the award for worst minifig selection in the HP reboot

Very late on this, but I’d like them to do another round of Hogwarts Moments taking place in the common room.

Would probably be the only way we ever get Percy, and the other house ghosts.

No one's mentioned it here yet, but a few hours ago @Falconfan1414 posted on his Insta story an image of a message reading "Everything will fall into place, just be patient" in gold text, over a white marble background.

Now, that's a Gringotts tease if ever I've seen one, which means to me that a Gringotts set in some form must be planned for 2021 (there's no way anyone knows 2022 info yet, and besides, it wouldn't make much sense to post right after we got some new concrete info about the August sets, sparking a bunch of discussion).

My money's on the $120 set being Gringotts, since that piece count sounds about right for a DA-scale bank with no dragon. So, it'll probably be PS-based, which I'm sure will be enough to disappoint some of you. Combine that with probably a new gimmick set and a couple of 2018-on remakes, and I can definitely see this being a disappointing wave. And that's presuming that this proposed $120 Gringotts would actually be a great and accurate build, as opposed to, say, a roller coaster playset, like the 2009 Temple of Doom.

But, of course, this is all just speculation based on FF's post.
