mark1991t Posted March 18, 2021 Posted March 18, 2021 He had a teaser in his video for another minifig. Looks like Ron, but I'm not sure. It had the Moments torso in gold and a wand-piece in gold as well.
Brickity Posted March 18, 2021 Posted March 18, 2021 Nice, I really like this Hooch variant and the new face with goggles, but the 2nd expression is a downgrade. Looks like a different character.

Seaber Posted March 18, 2021 Posted March 18, 2021 I'd have to see the new face with the hairpiece on, but I think it is an upgrade on the 2018 one and looks more like Hooch. More severe, less sassy.

Alexandrina Posted March 18, 2021 Posted March 18, 2021 Having seen the new minifigures, I must say I'm really impressed. Hooch, in particular, actually has a face print that looks like Hooch (the rear print) for the first time ever. I'm not sure if Quirrell ever has stars on his clothes in the films - but then he's never bright gold from head to toe in the films, so screen accuracy isn't my priority for his figure, and the stars are definitely evoking the childlike whimsy of the original Harry Potter sets/figures.

You know, I sort of miss the deep red lippy , but I also kind of like that we have a very different face. I can use it to create two recognisably distinct minfigs now, which is always welcome, particularly in an underrepresented demographic. (seniors)

Though I agree - there were never stars on the Hogwarts cloaks, yet the original capes were spangled more than an American banner.
BrickMatit Posted March 18, 2021 Posted March 18, 2021 I know that probably no one of you can answer, but how could happen that this person has minifigures? Someone inside Lego sold them to him?
Roonil Wazlib Posted March 18, 2021 Posted March 18, 2021 Hooch looks great! Not particularly interested in the gold minifigures, but it looks good for what it is.

RODDY Posted March 18, 2021 Posted March 18, 2021 They both look phenomenal and I definitely want the golden Quirrell. Only complaint is the same issue I had with the 20th anniversary Star Wars minifigs, the printing on the back. Yes Lego we know it’s the 20th anniversary figure, if the Golden color scheme was enough. I kinda got why they did it for the Star Wars ones because they were identical to the original ones, some of them extremely rare like Lando who goes for big money on the market, but for the HP 20th anniversary it’s pretty much overkill
krimimimi Posted March 18, 2021 Posted March 18, 2021 The fact Hooch also has one side of her face without the goggles means the Flying Lesson is back on the table as an option. Let the speculation resume... (Who else wants a Remembrall?)

BrickBob Studpants Posted March 18, 2021 Posted March 18, 2021 The stars are obviously an anniversary thing, probably to spice things up a bit

Her gloves, her torso, all as in the movie in the flying lesson

I didn't actually watch the video as I don't like it as a format for conveying information, so I just scrubbed to a good shot of Hooch/Quirrell and looked at the paused frame. Missed Ron altogether. I don't have any issue myself with Ron having stars on his jumper. Harks back to the starry capes of old.
MaxHeadroom Posted March 18, 2021 Posted March 18, 2021 Of course we finally get new info while I'm busy for a few days. I wonder if the stars on the golden torsos are the only reference to the original stars that we'll be getting. It seems a bit odd to have them pasted there at all, especially if it's just on these golden figures and not the standard ones included with the sets. Also I guess this confirms the sets will include the moments versions of the torsos? It will be nice to have a moments torso for Hufflepuff. As for tomorrow's stream I'm not going to get my hopes up for anything amazing. It will probably mostly be pushing the DA, Moments, and Art sets and a nostalgic look at the theme overall followed by a hint about more things coming soon. Maybe if we're lucky they'll show a gold minifigure or the new Hogwarts castle set.
lego_guyon02 Posted March 18, 2021 Posted March 18, 2021 Quirrel and Ron look nice but I'm not too fond of the golden designs. Hooch looks really good! I still prefer the 2018 fig but this is a very nice to get variant.
