Glory of Corrington task 10: Daily life of the Myzec
First entry

In the outskirts of Myzectlan there is a market where the farmers around Myzectlan can offer their goods. A few Myzec and Corrish guards and priests always are prepared to step in and prevent a ruckus.
But most market days are quiet and the Myzec people have a fair exchange of wool, maize, pumpkins, seeds, spices, vegetables, farming equipment and all sort of handcrafted stuff. Among the visitors are some Corrish settlers.

As it is typical for a agricultural market in the Myzec civilisation to have a snake related temple next to it, there is a house in honour of snakes. Though they are not part of the dualistic Myzec Pantheon, snakes are considered holy in the farming societies of Myzectlan. There are old stories of the snake's love for the soil to such an extend, it relinquished its legs to be closer to the earth and always feel its breath. By observing the snake's behaviour the Myzec people have a chance to avoid or prepare for natural catastrophies. Also the snakes help the farmers to keep their fields free of rodents by hunting them.

I would like to ask if I could license this building two times, first as a small cultural build and then as a small or medium commerce.

Nice and very lively build! I like the idea and the story, as well as the excellent minifig choice and the pieces you used for the market wares.

As for the licensing... the general rule is 1 build= 1 license, unless sufficient effort is shown (e.g., if I build two very detailed houses separated by a field, I should be able to license them independently)... so something rather arbitrary! If I were you I’d use one medium license for both, but this is only my opinion.

A very nice addition to Myzectlan Wellesley! I like how you have presented it as an all Lego immersive scene which I think helps give the market more of a bustling, busy feel. A very impressive collection of Myzec looking minifigs as well! I think the best bit for me though is the red snake motif on the front of the temple. It just looks very Aztec to me and I will probably borrow the idea soon! (As soon as I can get my hands on some of the new Jaguar warrior minifigs, Myzectlan is back on the building roster!!!). The lore to go with the snake was great as well, especially the snake's connection with the earth. All in all a great effort and a GoC  from me.

Oh PS,

Licensing wise as long as you meet the minimum footprint for each license, you can license as two separate licenses. The precedent has been set in the past for breaking up larger builds into smaller licenses as long as it fits the scene (which this does with a market clearly being commerce and the temple clearly Arts and Culture.)

Thank you all! I enjoy Myzec building a lot and will probably do some more scenes.
Actually I wanted to use 6117 for the Myzec guards, but unfortunately couldn't find any of them.

@Ayrlego Great to hear. Then I will split it into a small Arts & Culture build and a medium Commerce build. And you are welcome to integrate the snake into future projects.
