I really like this list, and I could see it being something like this. The only thing I'd say is that I think Mando S3 will probably get at least one of the larger price points. I would assume it has sold well in the past based on how many sets we've gotten from it, so if Lego is doing any larger Disney+ sets, I imagine Mando would be their first choice. It could even be something from one of the earlier seasons, though both of them are decently covered at this point.

Those propeller guard parts on the new avatar helicopter are making me really think about a new hailfire tank without clear dishes. That AT-TE needs something to fight!

I love the Hailfire Droid. Man, I was so excited in 2015 for it and then so disappointed. Even the 2007 one wasn’t great. I would love this.

Hailfire Droid £29.99: Geonosian Battle Droid (x2), Geonosian Battle Droid Commander, Shaak Ti, Clone Sergeant

However, I don’t think we will see any accompanying set. Lego will say the Spider Droid and the 3 battle droids will do. Fingers crossed for a Crab Droid, though.

I maintain that we'll soon see a battle pack with 212th troopers and a crab droid. It's that death trooper/praetorian guard/dark trooper/etc pattern. Introduce desirable trooper in an expensive set, than 6-9 months later give it a battle pack. At least I hope it is.

Anyway, finished the Torrent (It's 511 pcs including figs, so I did manage to keep it around that $50 price point!) and moving on to the fanblade.

Yeah I think the patterns is correct too. Never know with Lego, though.

Can’t wait to see them all!

Do you think we might see some sets based off the new TV series, Tales of the Jedi?

I don’t think it’s likely either. It’s a short-form anthology series and from the footage and images we’ve seen, it doesn’t look like there’s a lot of set potential. With all of the content coming out these days, it’s probably pretty low on the totem pole.

Recently, I watched this video -

His rendition of the Naboo Royal Starship, which is designed with a framework Lego designers adopt focusing on play and re-enacting scenes from the movies, is superb.

Obviously a small accurate windshield piece is needed and I think the main part of the ship is a tad skinny, but Lego could do a great job with a set like this.

All of the features in the video id keep, except perhaps on either side of the throne chair I’d prefer the sampling stations used by Kenobi for Anakin’s midi-chlorian count. It is a shame another Astromech couldn’t be added, too. I would omit Jar Jar, sadly in favour of Ric Olie.

lego set 7101 will accompany the set, as partially shown by the video, too. Obviously Darth Maul’s speeder will be a modern rendition we are used to seeing, and the moister evaporator would be a nice touch.

Finally, with the combination of metallic grey etc used in Mando’s N1 Starfighter, I think it’s a perfect time for this set.

Naboo Royal Starship (950 pieces, £119.99): Ric Olie, Captain Paneka, Padme Amidala, Qui-Gon-Jinn, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker, R2-D2, Darth Maul

This set could later be accompanied by a Naboo Royal Starfighter and a Vulture Droid.

@Mandalorianknight - I’d love to see you attempt it one day.

I think part 62360 with a unique print would work well enough for Lego designers here, its not exactly in scale, but it is close. The MOC itself is great. I try to do the same thing with my builds, and it is difficult, especially at a small scale like this one. One criticism I do have is that if this were an actual set, it would probably have stud shooters on it lol.

Yeah definitely this part, with a sticker, of course.

The thing is the Naboo Starship in universe doesn’t have weaponry, although I agree it should have something weapon wise.

So much functionality in that MOC regardless. The back of the box would look amazing.

It's definately on the docket for wishlist wave three. That said, I'm not done with 2 yet and heading to college in less than a month... it might be a while. But it's a good idea.

I'm not in the business of predicting sets, but I will try to keep my hopes and dreams a bit realistic.

ARC-170 fighter, with 3 pilots and 1 astromech. I liked the fact that models were a bit downscaled with the most recent X-Wing and TIE fighter, so I hope that they will do the same with this one. They'd probably throw in a main character, so let's just say Palpatine for the heck of it.

U-Wing, with the upcoming Andor series I see this as a possibility. It'd have Andor of course, and like three additional figures among which a stormtrooper (or other imperial trooper).

Ghost, with the release of the Justifier next month I'd say that this one isn't that out there. In it would be Hera Syndulla, Ezra, Kanan, Chopper, Sabine and Zeb (with a smaller head mold than his first version). Preferably they'd do the same as they did with the first version, namely making it compatible with the Phantom 1 and maybe even Phantom 2. Those two could be redesigned as well.

Ahsoka's Jedi interceptor, with Ahsoka and a buzz droid. Not very likely of course but she's only had the jedi starfighter/interceptor treatment once and she had a fair amount of screentime in those and is still popular.

LAAT/Ie patrol gunship, preferably the imperial version from Rebels. Manned by a pilot and two stormtroopers, maybe with a main character included.

And one that is waaaaaay out there:

Moldy Crow, with Kyle Katarn and Jan Ors. The Crow would be slightly downscaled to be a bit more like a fighter and a bit less like a small freighter. Jedi Knight: Dark Forces II got me into the expanded universe and was my first step into exploring Star Wars beyond just the movies. There's so much nostalgia involved for me that I would happily pay for something like that with three times the Star Wars tax.

I’d love to get all of these in the next few years. I definitely think the U-Wing will show up in Andor, though probably not until Season 2, so I think we’ll definitely get a new one eventually. I also think The Ghost will show up in Ahsoka so I definitely could see us getting a new one in 2023 or 2024, though I’d love it if it came with all the main Rebels characters in their Season 3/4 outfits since we never got most of them. I can also definitely see Lego doing Ahsoka’s version to change things up a bit the next time they do a Jedi Interceptor, and also so they can do an updated version of Ahsoka in one of her earlier Clone Wars outifits. The other two are a little less likely unless they appear in something else, but I’d still love to see them and you never know if Lego could randomly throw them into a wave like the recent Grievous Starfighter or AT-TE.

I am very surprised these sets have not been released. Great ideas, would love them.

I think a new Plo Koon would suit the Arc-170 perfectly.

January 1
75344 (($9.99) - microfighter
75345 ($19.99) - microfighter double pack
75346 ($34.99) - 212th battle pack
75347 ($64.99) - ARC-170
75348 ($99.99) - a new vehicle from a D+ show we haven't seen yet
75352 ($99.99) - U-wing
75353 ($79.99) - location build from a D+ show

March 1
75349 ($69.99) - helmet
75350 ($69.99) - quotes set

Anyway, those are my (honestly kinda bare bones) predictions for the prices, but what do you think?

Posted

I posted some of my guesses in the other thread but I guess I'll share them here too, and also crack some guesses at the other sets. This is somewhat what I want to see, somewhat realistic predictions. Actually, since there isn't any boring OT remakes on my list, maybe you can scratch the realistic part.

January 1
75344 ($9.99) - Definitely a microfighter but I don't have any particular guesses. I'm going to go out on a limb and say it'll be Boba and his Firespray since we've never really gotten a proper Microfighter of that ship before.
75345 ($19.99) - 212th Clone Trooper Battle Pack with two 212th troopers from the AT-TE and two Airborne Troopers from the Grievous Starfighter. The build could be a crab droid.
75346 ($34.99) - T-47 Airspeeder from Obi-Wan Kenobi. Side build could be a Probe Droid for the heroes to fight. New figures could include a pilot, Jedi robe Obi-Wan, and young Leia with Lola droid.
75347 ($64.99) - Captain Rex's Y-Wing. Includes a new Captain Rex with the new helmet mold for his range finder and new Season 2 versions of Hunter and Omega.
75348 ($99.99) - Stinger Mantis. Jedi Survivor is supposed to come out in March so I could see Lego dropping a Fallen Order/Survivor set a few months in advance. Figures would include Cal Kestis, a reused BD-1, Cere Junda, Greez and Nightsister Merrin.
75352 ($99.99) - Crosshair's Imperial Shuttle. New minifigures could include Crosshair with the updated helmet mold, Imperial Commander Cody, Vice Admiral Rampart and two Elite Squad Troopers.
75353 ($79.99) - Andor set

March 1
75349 ($69.99) - Bo-Katan Helmet
75350 ($69.99) - Maybe a Royal Guard or Boussh Helmet for the ROTJ 40th Anniversary? Otherwise, I'd guess a Clone Trooper helmet.

If I recall correctly, I saw a U-Wing on a promotional poster for Andor. So maybe it'll be sooner than you think   I agree with you on the patrol gunship, maybe it'll appear in Andor as well. As for the ARC-170, it's been in enough media (ROTS, several TCW episodes) to warrant a certain status not far below the more iconic ships, and the last version is from 2010 if I recall correctly. I think the multitude of new show and seasons of existing shows are what's hindering its re-entrance. In part at least.

With so many shows and movies since Disney took over, there's only so much you can release of course. But I do find my ideas better than several other sets that did get released   As for the inclusion of Plo Koon, that would fit pretty well... also pretty morbid if you think about how he met his fate, maybe they could include some random white and blue pieces to make the scene more lively

Glad to see this thread is back to some level of activity. Used to feel like I was every other post on it!

Here are my guesses, based on two things;
The upcoming content of 1hy 2023 (mando s3, ahsoka, jedi: survivor)

Previous trends and content. Main hero ship for the solo microfighter. Ship versus creature for the two-pack. Predicted trend towards endor sets.

Havoc Marauder ($9.99): Hunter, maybe Tech instead if we're lucky.

Wheel Bike vs Boga Microfighter two-pack  ($19.99): General Grievous and Obi-Wan Kenobi

Speeder Bikes ($34.99): two speeder bikes and some trees with a catapult feature. Comes with Endor Luke and Endor Leia, Wicket, and a Scout Trooper.

Mandalorian season 3 set ($64.99): Mando, Grogu, Bo-katan, 1-2 other figures

Endor Bunker attack ($99.99): Endor bunker, speeder bike, ewok glider. Comes with 2x stormtrooper, 2x navy trooper, Endor Han, C-3PO, Paploo, and an Endor Trooper.

The Mantis ($99.99): Cal Kestis, Greez Ditrius, BD-1, Merrin, Cere Junda, Second Sister, and a Purge Trooper.

Ahsoka's Jedi Shuttle ($79.99): Ahsoka, Sabine Wren, C1-1OP, 1 other figure

 (march)
AT-AT driver helmet ($69.99)

Clone Trooper Helmet ($69.99): Includes some extra parts to change rank of trooper.

I'm also going to guess that the accessory packs are back, and weren't leaked alongside the rest due to their different set numbers:

212th troopers ($14.99): 2x 212th clone trooper, P2 cody. Build is a small crab droid.

Endor Rebels ($14.99): 2x endor rebels and an ewok warrior. Build is a small tree and a small catapult.

A little emphasis on RotJ to celebrate its 40th anniversary would be cool, but with all that new content coming I'm afraid it won't happen. Fingers crossed though.

I’d say we’ll get at least one playset to tie-in with it. We got a new play scale AT-AT to tie in with the ESB 40th Anniversary, I can see them going something similar next summer. Maybe a small Speeder Bike chase.

Also, we didn’t get a MBS set this year like we expected so I could see Lego doing an Endor one next year.

Posted

I feel like if they are going to do any sets not based on recent Disney series then it would be rotj based only because of the 4plus set this summer.

I know everyone wants the battle pack to be a clone one, but I feel like that might be something more for the summer, considering we have Andor, BB, and Kenobi we can’t really rule out something like a purge trooper pack or a random new imperial trooper pack from Andor or BB.

I do hope there is one more BoBF set somewhere purely because I want that Wookiee in a set, could see them throwing in Cad Bane again.

I hope Jedi fallen order gets some love especially as they are making the inquisitor sabre piece again why not give us the 2nd and 9th sisters along with Cal and Cere in a set. Or in my wildest dreams a fallen order location set on dathomir.

We’ve also got tales of the Jedi coming and whilst it’s unlikely they’ll get any sets the prospect of a Jedi dooku as a figure will add to the long list of characters that need a Lego figure/set.

Posted

I just watched the Andor trailer and there's a TIE bomber, so hopefully lego makes a set of it soon!

There's no U wings in the trailer though, so I don't think one will be coming for a while :(
