Omand Posted February 23 Posted February 23 25 minutes? Nah, took me a few years to compile that all together. I just had it all in a text document filed away. I used to fill in every quality survey link I got from Lego for shopping at the online store or one of the Lego Stores in the real world. When it came time for other comments I would always throw in at least one idea for a new Lego Star Wars set. Got out of the habit as the COVID-19 pandemic was winding down, so just been sitting on this list. I figured it was better to share it rather than sitting on it. Cheers :) Quote
ZeldaTheSwordsman Posted March 8 Posted March 8 Let's see... Creator-style Naboo Starship set that can be built as any of Padme's ships. They're the most overdue of all for representation and all have featured in important scenes, while Darth Maul's ship that does even less on-screen than the Slave I pre-AOTC has gotten five different minifig-scale versions. And a Creator-style set seems like a good way to handle them all. TLG to relearn that Imperial TIE Fighters have BLUE HULLS Non-UCS redux of Jango Fett's Slave I. It's good that we're getting the UCS version because the thing is way overdue for any sort of revisit, but UCS is a tad extra for a lot of people. Bounty Hunter Pursuit redux New Boga; she's well-overdue for a return, especially after we got a new version of Grievous' wheel bike. Count Dooku's Solar Sailer redux; the old one's good even if it's got no sail, but it's been years and the price is now "Oh god, why" New/reissue CIS Vulture Droid; a new one would be neat since there's still room for improvement with the walking mode. And in any case, we need one that isn't priced at "Oh god, why" * New, single-piece Buzz Droid minifig to go with it. The brick-built ones are just too big & kinda clunky Trade Federation colors version of same * New, non-brick-built Droideka minifig to go with it; every brick-built Droideka has been scuffed to some degree or other, and none since the original have been able to do wheel mode; I'd say it's past time they bit the bullet and just made an actual minifig New Droid Tri-Fighter (or even just a design recycle of the TCW one; I favor that for reuse over the 2014 version due to actually having the underslung missiles) New Hyena Droid; it's been a hot minute and the original's walking mode was horrendously scuffed compared to the on-screen appearance Episode III Duel with Dooku - it's a key scene in the movie, but has never been done. Invisible Hand Bridge Escape - would make for a fun setpiece, and it'd be a way to give us more MagnaGuards Obi-Wan's blue Jedi Interceptor redux, ideally once again with the hyperdrive ring. Hopefully with the designers being given an actual orthographic this time around. Anakin/Vader's green Jedi Interceptor; not as necessary from a design quality standpoint, but price/availability definitely say we could use a new release Ahsoka's Delta-7B redux Blade of Dorin redux Mace Windu's Delta-7B redux; these last three probably aren't the highest priority, but the first four Clone Wars Delta-7s were all kinda awkward, in many ways being worse versions of the Episode II one from 2002 (they lack the sharpness that one had). New/reissue Clone Wars Y-Wing New V-19 Torrent Fighter, perhaps forgoing the gear-driven wings that made the original so big and pricy New Twilight New B-wing; it's been a while, and the 2014 one was kinda scuffed. Too much space between the S-foils and the main wing New non-UCS standard Republic Gunship, with the door turrets being both double-jointed and able to tilt down New UCS Naboo Starfighter Rebel & Resistance capitol ship playsets New Hailfire droid in the vein of the Technic one, or even a reissue of the Technic one. The System ones to date have been too small and have had to cheat on the wheels. Senate Commandos or Guards with plumes New Battle Droid & Super Battle Droid minifigs with separate legs. If we ever get more Legends stuff.. The Havoc, and a Sabaoth Fighter Quote

I seriously hope this is the case. Especially that price tag for the AT-RT, since it would assumably mean it's not as oversized as the previous versions. The Remnant battlepack would be awesome as well, and I wouldn't be surprised if- if they do end up doing a movie wave- we see a new Crest as well. Here's my wave concept based solely on what I know from the trailer, previous mando content, and press reports: AT-RT ($9.99): our first accurately sized AT-RT with Mando and Grogu Imperial Battlepack ($19.99): Incinerator trooper, armored officer, and two remnant snowtroopers. Build is a Viper probe and E-Web Arena Match ($49.99): Gladiatorial Arena build with Swole Rotta, Mando, Embo, and 1-2 other figures. TIE Outlander vs X-wing ($109.99): Comes with Trapper Wolf, NR Astromech, Carson Teva, TIE Pilot, and Imperial Villain 1 AT-AT ($139.99): Slightly smaller AT-AT with Mando, Grogu, Imperial Villain 2, Imperial Officer, 2x AT-AT pilot, and 2x Snowtrooper Razor Crest ($179.99): New RC, larger than the 2020 version, with flat silver and drumlaquered accents. Comes with Mando, Grogu, Sigourney Weaver's officer, Zeb, Embo, and a nonspoiler cameo figure. Quote
BrickBob Studpants Posted March 10 Posted March 10 Teva, Anzellans, and an Incinerator Trooper are near the top of my Mando wanted list (or SW list in general, actually) and all of them have decent chances to appear in the movie and thus the sets! Every year 2 of these factions get individual starfighter sets, the other 2 factions get incorporated into 1 starfighter duel pack. Every year 2 of these factions get a Battlepack of some sort. Every year each faction gets a 2nd sort of set. Either a ground vehicle, location, Main Character’s vehicle or a Dropship. The 2 UCS of the year rotate between factions. Perfectly balanced as all things should be. There are then a further 2 sets to cover pirates, bounty hunters, monsters and mandatory Baby Yoda. Alright, using this formula, if 2026 didn’t have the Mando movie releasing this is what I’d have liked it to include. (Clone sets are to keep the Clone Bros quiet) Miscellaneous (both £12.99): Commander Cody Mech (gunship wing jet pack and rocket launcher) Thrawn’s Chimera/ Krennic’s shuttle microfighter Battlepacks: Rebel Commandos (£14.99): Quarren/ Zabrak Heavy, BF2 Endor Specialist and a Endor Assault. Imperial Army Battlepack (£19.99): Stormtrooper and 3 Army Troopers / Imperial Remnant Battlepack (£19.99): Scout Trooper, Incinerator Trooper and 2 Stormtroopers. Starfighters Tie Reaper (£69.99): Director Krennic, 2 Death Troopers, Tie Pilot and Jyn Erso/ Rebel Commando (Perfect for Andor tie-in and RO’s 10th anniversary) B-Wing (£59.99): Crix Madine, Pilot, Mon Mothma and General Calarissian Headhunter vs Vulture Droid (£89.99): Obi-Wan Kenobi, Hawk, Captain Rex, Droid Pilot and Count Dooku Other sets: Rebel Snowspeeder (£34.99): Luke Skywalker, Hoth Leia and Dak Ralter ITT (£54.99): Ezra, Sabine, Lieutenant Lyste, Combat Driver, Stormtrooper and a Stormtrooper Commander. Escape from Echo Base (£29.99): Han Solo, Chewbacca, Darth Vader and a Snowtrooper. UCS UCS U-Wing (£189.99): Cassian, Jyn, K2, Chirrut, Blaze and Bodhi UCS Republic Frigate (£799.99): Anakin Skywalker, Ahsoka Tano, Aayla Secura, Commander Bly, Captain Rex, 2 Clone Pilots and 3 P1 Shinies. ARC2149Nova Posted March 23 Posted March 23 I really want a new A-Wing... It's one of the few ships that would actually benefit from LEGO's recent downsizing, and I hope a new one would finally get the nose split right (only 2013 has ever come close). As for minifigures, getting yet another Green Leader would be meh, maybe a deep cut like Sila Kott, or even L'ulo. Other than that, Rebel Commando, and a new Crix Madine would be fire. Quote

ArrowBricks Posted April 8 Posted April 8 Where do we see Lego Star Wars 18+ going next? Do we think they keep releasing helmets? How many mid-scale ships are there left to do? There’s few Buildable droids/characters left. Quote

How many mid-scale ships are there left to do? There’s few Buildable droids/characters left. With the reveal of the new Marvel busts I feel like Vader is a no brainer since they’d be able to incorporate his chest thingy. I think the new Book Nooks might come to SW, despite obviously never being based on the books. I reckon the Death Star Jump, Emperor’s throne room, duel of the fates, battle of the heroes, geonosis factory, etc… would all make good book nooks. I hope dioramas aren’t done. If we can’t get a ISD bridge diorama then the entire sub theme was pointless for me. MIDI scale capital ships that are left (I don’t think anything smaller works that well): Lucrehulk, Munificent, Recusant, Venator, Interdictor, Profundity, ISD, Victory, MC85, Hammerhead Corvette, Light Cruiser, Resurgent, Dreadnought, Supremacy, Malevolence, Eclipse, Nebulon B. I wouldn’t mind SW Modular’s though. I reckon an imperial base series starting with a hangar and Endor bunker would be great. Battlepacks (£19.99) High Republic Jedi Knights: Human male, Human female, Wookiee and a Pantorran female. Naboo defence: 2 Naboo Security forces, 87th Sentinel Corps Assault and 87th Sentinel Corps Heavy. Crimson Dawn: 2 Maul Mandalorians, Pyke soldier and a Black Sun soldier Imperial Army: 2 Army Troopers, army trooper NCO and a stormtrooper Imperial Remnant: Incinerator Trooper, Scout Trooper and 2 stormtroopers. Imperial Excavators: 2 JFO Scout Troopers, stormtrooper Commander and an imperial jumptrooper. Jabba’s Goons: Weequay, Gran and 2 Gamorreans. CIS Soldiers: 2 Umbaran soliders, Nemoidian Guard and a Geonosian Warrior. New Republic Rangers: 2 New Republic soldiers, armoured New Republic soldier and a Navy Officer. Vader’s Fist: Purge Trooper, 2 501st Stormtroopers and a 501st Stormtrooper Commander Rogue Rebels: 4 assorted Rebels from the Rogue One Scarif team. Buildable characters now seem to be mandatory, so let’s have some which are at least interesting. Buildable Rancor (£69.99): Starkiller minifig included Buildable Zillo Beast (£69.99): Crosshair minifig included Buildable Jedha Jedi Statue (£69.99): Cere Junda and/ or Eno Cordova Empire Occupier Tank (£34.99): Stormtrooper Commander, Bix Calleen, Tank Trooper and a Stormtrooper. ITT (£59.99): Lieutenant Lyste, Ezra Bridger, 2 Combat drivers and a Stormtrooper Commander. Tie Reaper (£79.99): 2 Death Troopers, Krennic, Jyn Erso and a Tie Pilot. Tie Defender (£49.99): Thrawn, Captain Pellaeon, Sabine Wren and a Tie Baron Patrol Gunship (£59.99): JFO Scout Trooper, JFO Scout Trooper Commander, Purge Trooper (Kenobi), Jump Trooper and a Jump Trooper Commander. Rebels/ New Republic New Republic A-Wing (£34.99): Pilot, Hera and Navy officer B-Wing (£59.99): Crix Madine, Pilot, Mon Mothma and Lando. Hoth Defence (£49.99): Luke, Dak Ralter, 2 Rebel soldiers and a Snowtrooper. Quote
Killian Posted April 9 Posted April 9 Finally watched season 3 of The Mandalorian and now I'm wishing Lego would do Din Grogu's IG-12 mech suit as a set Quote

Maybe they were struggling to make it work scale-wise Quote
