Why don't we play a game in the mean time? I've got a good one. It's called Roman Mafia.

Hail fellow, well met!

I am Flatulence, I come from south of the equator, but have risen to the occasion of meeting thee!

Ave, I am Tiny Pius, a torturer for the government...

(OOC: A mafia game within a mafia game? Very nice!)

Look I'm all for fun but I also find greater joy in ruining said fun, especially when it comes to this. I unvote: Pencoin and vote: Hinckley.

I remember Rome, what a time that was. It was back in my youth you know, I helped determine the fate of the empire! :sweet: I guess that's why it no longer exists... :look:

Mike walks over with a plate of food.

Now mike, I'm getting sick of this. You've brought me fish! Never trust fish, it is only as good as the person who pays for it. Bring me some of that drink, I've had enough waiting!

Now that's just nonsense, this "Hinckley" is clearly mad an delusional, he couldn't harm a fly.

Pencoin/Lord Martin on the other hand.. I vote: Pencoin/Lord Martin.

(OOC: sorry about the lack of posts, having some trouble with Internet at home at the moment, and it's been a couple of busy days at work. Now things seem to have settled though. :classic:)

After looking through most of your statements. I will have to agree that I will vote for Pencoin/Lord Martin

Let us pray that we have narrowed down one of the culprits.

Commander Bly - I was wondering if you might know what the oldest bottle of wine we have is? With all these people pointing fingers at me today, I figured tomorrow, if I make it, I might need something stronger than ale.

The oldest you say? I'll have to check my stock but I'm sure that I can find something extremely strong for you.

I think he's lying drunk down in the dungeons.

(thinks to himself)

...fish is only as good as the person who pays for it....

Ok guys, I figured out and confirmed the cellar keeper and the maid, now we need to find out who the cook is.

Tiny Pies - You said you were an executioner, was that in Rome or in modern time?

Kurtt - still awaiting an answer to my question...

Have we heard from Flatfoot Thompson or Lt. Veers yet?

One more question....

Do we "officially" know yet how the King died?

Did I miss this?

Is the doctor going to perform an assessment of the body (because I don't think autopsy is a word yet)?

Lord Martin,

Again with these false accusations...You just don't quit do you. :)

I know I'm innocent, so whatever happens happens.

To quote Ivan Drago, " If he dies, he dies."

Of course, no one will know Ivan for another few hundred years.....

The people that should concern us most are the ones who rarely speak.

AgentRick57 shows up out of nowhere to say he is still voting for me, and that is fine. But you have been awfully quiet. Do you and KurttKruegger have something going on that we should all know about?

And Pencoin, I will live for another day for I have done nothing wrong. I have already figured out who two other people are in this group. I am harmless.

Have a pint!

it makes me angry i will die wrongly and Mike will live on

Thou shall not cheat the church out of weekly tidings, my son. While you are angry, you should make your amends with our Lord and Savior, for only he will judge in the end. Now bow before Him so he shall grant forgiveness to the soul. You may also tell us what you know of King Dracus's murder and those that have conspired against him. Say the truth now, my son, and I shall pray for your everlasting soul. Let he who repents be lifted by the Angels and granted access through the gates of Heaven.

the people here will realie oon that you are the one who should of died not me :knight:

Words spoken through the forked tonge of the Devil; he continues his defiance of truth until the end. Tell us of Mike? Has he conspired with you to bring down the King?

The truth shall set you free! Lies will take you to a place called Grave Stone Hell, where your soul shall rot for an eternity among the demons, devils, and creatures of evil.

You keep saying that, but it's not convincing anyone, as far as I can tell. Why don't you be a good lad and tell us who was in this plot with you. It might give you a few extra days of life.

Still, I don't know how this all works. When you are killed, will we be told if you were a traitor or not? That seems to go against logic. Why would we be able to figure that out only after you're dead?

Oh well, you won't have to worry about that, bless your soul.

The Lord works in mysterious ways  . We shall know the truth as the evil spirits are cast out of his body. If he was telling the truth, his death shall serve as an example of how deceipt and lies (not to forget meager tidings) shall invite the Devil to feast upon the soul. I bless him in the name of King Dracus and the Church.

(Pulls a small basket from his robe) Tidings anyone? Tidings? For the Church... Blessed art thou who gives generously.

It was now heading into the afternoon, and Pencoin, who had been voted by the masses as a traitor, was to be taken to the dungeons to await his fate that evening.

Trexxen stood from his seat at the table, and led Pencoin away down to the dungeons, as was his duty.

The rest of the castle decided to stay in the hall and drink and be merry until that evening when they would retire to their rooms, as there were still a number of hours to go in the day. You never know what can be revealed in the last drunken hours of day. What was certain however, was that there was to be no coming back for the one known as Pencoin (Lord Martin).

All voting will now cease, however you may still discuss the days events, and drink, and stay for dinner, as the thread does not close for another 36 hours or so.
