Sweet, I have wanted to get a close up for ages.

T.C.O

Just letting ya know that if you went onto the target website on the AAT link, you could just click on the image and then zoom in so we could already zoom in and see it that close up.

Anyone has noticed this new clone (No minifig just a new kind of clone in the series):

LINK (CLICK IN THE LAST PIC  )

I think it would be extremely cool to own him in any new set of 2009, Venator anyone? .

Its not yet public, can you deeplink it please?

Yes, it is rather hard to find a pic in a folder that isn't public.

Anyway, he may be referring to the green jet trooper, which I would really want in a set, with a jet pack that is detachable.

Yeah, we saw this picture ages ago and discussed Yoda's grey hair, the new Super Battle Droids and the old battle droid arms. Have you all been ignoring this post for the last one or two months?

All of those figs are present in the 2009 AAT

Oh I already know that of course  I meant, I would like them eventually be in a cheap set :classic:

We new that but we haven't really seen a close up of it

Yes, we did. :sadnew: Someone posted a link to the Target online shop where they have a zoom feature. This is just another screenshot of the zoom-in on the minifigs.

Same here but I think the folder in that gallery is what he means. Wouldn't it be neat if that Separatist shuttle was real and it came with a new Nute Gunary minifig and some Rodians (Greedo head) like in the latest Clone wars episode.

That would be cool but he said a NEW clone from the series.

I also found these pictures of the Darth Vader's Tie Fighter on Brickshelf.

There is a "review" already posted on here of the box. Someone got it from a store because it was a display box that the store no longer needed. The set looks pretty cool.

I must say that I'm very sceptic about TLG releasing a Millenium Falcon next year: :sceptic:

1. There was already a list shown some pages ago where a Millenium Falcon wasn't mentioned.

2. A price of 60 AUSD is completely far away from reality: The last MF was 150 Euros. And the last years show that TLG is designing the sets and vehicles constantly bigger, more detialed and with more exclusive minifigs. So how to get a MF which is minimum about the size and detail than the last one - but should be at the price of about the Imperial Landing Craft?! - That's really unrealistic.

3. If the earlier list(s) are right we already get two big vehicles: The RSD and the RBR. Imo there is then no space for another minimum 150-Euros-set.

I think that there surely will be a redesign/rerelease of the MF as well as one of the X-Wing - but not in 2009.

As for the information of the Home One playset as TRU Exclusive: Like some of you already mentioned I don't think that they give the information about the exclusive TRU set so early. And like it seems more people voted for Palpatine's Arrest than for the Home One playset.

But - like I already mentioned - I think that TLG will release both sets since then PT and OT fans would be happy and nobody can complain.

On Brickipedia it says that Echo Base is $20 USD, comes with 2 Rebel Troopers, and a trench and turret. It also says that the Endor Battle Playset comes with the Bunker, Han Solo, Princess Leia, 2 Endor Rebel Troopers, and 2 Scout Toopers.

Thanks for the info Justin2224  . If the minifig count of the Endor set is real than I would be really pissed off  but at least the Hoth set sounds "acceptable" but even with that I think the TLC would have ruined such potential set with that minifig counts  .

I was just on brick wiki to see if there was any other info regarding 09 sets.

I found this:

Seperatist Shuttle 8036 Nute Gunray, Count Dooku, Magna Guards (two), Droid Pilot 2009

Anakin's Y-Wing Starfighter 8037 Anakin, R2-D2, Clone Pilot 2009

Republic Venator Cruiser 8039 Clone Troopers (four), Clone Pilots (two), Commander Wolffe, Astromech Droid, Plo Koon 2009

Corperate Alliance Tank Droid 7748 Battle Droid, Super Battle Droids (two), Kit Fisto, Clone Trooper 2009

Slave 1 & Carbonite Chamber 8096 Bossk, Boba Fett, Han Solo, Leia, Darth Vader, Chewbacca Christmas 2009

Endor Battle 8038 Luke, Leia, Han Solo, Chewbacca, 2 Ewoks, Storm Trooper, Scout Trooper 2009

Millenium Falcon 7778 Lando Calrissian, Nien Numb, Chewbacca 2009

Home 1 Cruiser 8098 Ackbar, Luke, Leia, 2 Rebel Troopers, Rebel Pilot 2009

Arrest of Palpitine 8097 Palpitine, Anakin, Mace Windu, Kit Fisto, 2 Royal Guards Christmas 2009

These minifig lists don't sound particularly believable, even if you ignore the notorious unreliability of brickipedia. Firstly, the Echo Base seems like something that is pretty unnecesary for someone that owns 7666, it's not exactly difficult to build your own bunker out of a bunch of white bricks.

As for the Endor set, Endor without ewoks (I know some people would like this) just doesn't seem likely, they were pretty critical in the battle.

Thanks for the info, Justin2224. These sound believable. The Hoth set sounds like an add-on (modular, anyone?) to the 2007 Hoth base. The Endor bunker sounds good, but small.

I have to agree with darkrebellion on that Brick Wiki list that it's a fan wish list, especially since it's Wikipedia. :sceptic:

No, I'm afraid not.

Not likely because its so early.

Justin2224 may I ask if they had any info on the venator?

And there was no info on that when I checked.

The above list sounds nice, and remotely plausible, but there are a few things that ruin that.

First, Chewie was never in the Falcon with Nein Numb or Lando.

Second, Bossk wasn't the freezing chamber, and that sounds like the Slave I and Cloud City landing pad that was eliminated almost immediately. But if, I forgot who it was who talked to the LEGO clerk (sorry), that person was right, we may end up getting all 3 like the list says.

Other than that the list doesn't seem to far fetched.

Hopefully we do get a Clone Wars-ified Kit Fisto with the Corperate Alliance Tank Droid (which was listed as $20 USD on Brickipedia).

But it would be nice if we got a non-LUL, Clone Wats-ified Luminara Unduli with the Venator instead of another Plo Koon and they include him in a smaller set so some of the more unfortunate people out there can get him. I also hope that, if true, the Astromech is a new color, like orange or purple, or something random.

The Endor set should definately come with at least one Ewok, and have them in a Battle Pack sometime soon.

This list does seem plausible, and I hope to see all of these sets in the future.

Actually, I think the current one would suffice. It looks like it could go either way, maybe TLC knew about the CW when modeling it, and did it intentionally? It wouldn't make any sense for them to spend thousands on yet another new mold. I would like to see Kit in a smaller set.

Maybe that black and gold one from the 2 part "R2-D2 rescue" episodes of the CW? I think Ahsoka nicknamed him "Goldie"

'Goldie' would be cool to have as well, just as long as it's nor red or blue. Speaking of which, hopefully the R2 in the Y-wing is the new style that comes in the behemoth called Death Star. And Brickipedia had that listed as $50 USD and the Venator as $115 USD
