With the war in Terraversa, land has become expensive all over the Island. Limiting people from building in the best locations.

So some times, when you really want something, you'll have to get creative! The Clerics have constructed a small church dedicated to Poseidon on top of a dock in the middle of the water.
Only able to be reached by boat. They don't expect many people to visit this place so they kept it simple and modest. The ideal place for the local fishermen to stop by after a long
day of fishing. Or on the way to their fishing grounds!

On the dock we can see one fisherman casually fishing, as he has docked his boat right next to the church. Although his oars seem to be missing, perhaps he should pray to the gods
to bring him some new oars?

OOC:
I came across this picture of a small church  sitting on some pier in America, disconnected from land itself and only reachable by land.
It's a lot smaller in real life, but that would probably be too small to portray nicely in Lego. I really wish I had the real bricks to make this thing, as I loved designing something this style
digitally. I'll probably order the bricks to make another little church like this physically in the future!

Good idea and implementation. I like the church on the pier. The Faith helps with the fishing, the fisherman has already caught some fish.

OMG, I love this. Both the inspiration and your version are just incredible. You've really captured that colonial aesthetic. This would make great sense as a church of Poseidon, could you be persuaded to tweak the text?

I'm very easily persuaded ;).

What do you suggest I adjust? I'm not as known in the faith as you (yet) so I'll happily take all the suggestions! ^^

I don't think you need to change the build at all, it's perfect. Just make it clear in the text that it's a church of Poseidon.

For anyone else curious about the inspiration, that is here:

I've changed the text a microscopic bit, it now says "...constructed a small church dedicated to Poseidon on top...", that should do :P

Great job making art imitate life. Very cute little scene. The lego version has no water or greenery and looks very clean and pristine, the actual photo looks swampy and that takes this in a whole other direction for me.

A very cute little build and great entry! I especially like the cheese slopes as sidings, works really well at that scale. Well done!
