I’m also very excited about seeing scale models here…I would 100% pay for instructions for a lot of these that I have seen in the last few days!!

No, Sir, I'm sorry...
Optimus Prime is a Peterbilt 379. Very similar to the 359, but distinguishable if you know where to look: The 379 has a slightly larger windscreen with horizontal wipers, turn signals integrated into the headlights and no cutouts in the hood for the air filter ducts (different arrangement of the ducts).

Oh, okay. Could you theoretically modify this into a 379 and make it Optimus? Or would that require too many structural changes.

Oc course I could. It should also be possible to lengthen the front by 2 studs for the "long nose" version.
But I like the short 359 better...

 Awesome looking build @Tenderlok  Those skinnier wheels from the VW T2 Creator set, look just right on it.     I may have to see whether i can source some of them myself, for my newest build/WIP.

In Germany, the new tyres are available at Lego Bricks & Pieces. Maybe in the UK, too?

The Optimus Prime mod is underway, I expect it to be done by tomorrow. My computer crashed when I tried to render the interior view, so I will put the stud.io file up for download and hopefully one of you can render it and post the pictures.

so I actually got it done early, I lengthened the hood by 2 studs, redid the grill, changed the colors, added the grey thing to the back, and substantially reworked the rear wheel rims.

Unfortunately its in the review phase and when I credit the original designer, it makes the file undownloadable (its happened before)

I may go and link this thread, but I'm afraid the copyright bots don't particularly like me.

Thanks for giving me a heads-up of where you got them.  I'll be sure to check that method of acquiring them out myself, as i really cannot afford to purchase the Creator VW T2 at this very moment in time.

I would stop to skip ahead and admire this track.

P.S. But the pins of the exhaust pipes could be turned back with a slot.

I found the slots look less prominent when turned inwards. Well, of course there are also pin connectors without slots (part no. 75535), but they are ridiculously expensive in light bluish grey.

I have exactly the same situation with these studs. I just meant that they could be rotated specifically for a staged photo. Or is it a render?
