The film got delayed till March 2022 in the U.K. so it seems odd to release this so early. I'm not sure either. Maybe they were already producing and shipping when the film got delayed?! Not sure when that happened. Quote
kbalage Posted October 31, 2021 Posted October 31, 2021 Same happened with the Ghostbusters ECTO-1, there'll be almost exactly 1 year between the LEGO set and the movie premiere. Studios can easily push the movie release date, it's not that easy for TLG to do the same with all the logistics involved. It's not that uncommon btw to have the sets a few months earlier than the movie release, the sets for Eternals have been around for a while as well. Quote

The “gun seat” and the remote controlled buggy trap are shown in the trailer but not been in the previous 2 films Quote

But then most are basically what I should have seen last year. Dune is my favourite so far and then either Bond or Suicide Squad. Eternals is 2 weeks time and Ghostbusters will be 2 weeks after that here Quote

LEGO Train 12 Volts Posted November 1, 2021 Posted November 1, 2021 Great design ...thanks for the accurate review! Quote
Celeri Posted November 1, 2021 Posted November 1, 2021 Usually, I am always balanced about Technic sets' design and understand both people praising them and people criticize them. But with this "Batmobile", I just cannot manage to understand how one can find it nice, sorry. Granted, I do not take into account its accurateness in relation to the movie, and am standing just on pure design: I really feel like no other Technic set was so close to abject ever. I am not criticizing people who like it and will buy it, of course: tastes are always personal and respectable. It just baffles me how TLG managed to put me on the "yuck" side for the first time with this one. Quote
Jundis Posted November 1, 2021 Posted November 1, 2021 17 minutes ago, Celeri said: Same here. There are so many things wrong here, and for actually zero technic functions, it looks just like it's been put together from leftover bricks. Quote
Celeri Posted November 3, 2021 Posted November 3, 2021 By the way, this new MOC on Rebrickable (#76139 alternate) seems way more convincing than this "Technic" set: Quote
