The party makes solid gains as the tide of combat ebbs and flows. Bers chainsword manages to miss his target as the Dread Bear's static, scratchy giggle echoes throughout the yard. Following up on this, Polaris swiftly tosses her boomerang and decapitates the mechanical menace. Sparks fly and gears sputter as the toy is felled, the distorted giggling dying as the energy within the construct powering it rapidly depletes. Yelana makes a mad dash across the scrapyard as the sound of tiny footsteps and manic, ghoulish laughter follow her. Polaris manages to gain the attention of the endo-skeleton, which promptly stomps in her direction. What follows is a harrowing flurry of blows as the construct breaches the chimeran's defences and rakes its sharpened claws and rusted teeth into MILES, battering him relentlessly. An awful, groaning noise emanates from the endo-skeleton as its hydraulic muscles and grating gears spur it on towards greater acts of violence.

Yelana climbs onto the mouldy couch and crawls to C8, levelling her rifle at the Endo-Skeleton. 
"Ew. . . Polaris, Plasma Potion; Bers, move to G8 - We'll take this thing down together!" 
Yelana smirks; "<Target locked.>".

The battle drags on as the party decides to focus their attacks on the hulking Endo-Skeleton. Despite their attempts, only Yelana's sniper round is capable of piercing through the robot's metal body as a viscous green-grey goo spews out of the wound. The Caustic Bear, cheekily laughing, rallies its larger ally, allowing the Endo-Skeleton to deliver a salvo of vicious swings on Bers, whose chainsword and armour can only defend so much of. The sound of metal scraping against metal echoes around the heroes as the battle continues...

Together, Bers and Yelana act, drowning the Endo-Skeleton in attacks. Between Bers blows from his chainsword and Yelana's sniper fire, the Endo-Skeleton is reduced to a pile of scrap. Polaris sends her boomerang flying at the remaining toy, nicking it across the cheek. In retaliation the bear charges Polaris, it's claws scratching and scrapping across MILES. The group is startled by the sound of an additional firearm being discharged as the group sees a familiar face confidently reload a sawn-off double barrel shotgun.

"You three certainly know how to take your time." As he finishes reloading the gun, he aims it at the toy bear. "I think it's time we cleaned up this mess and put these toys away."

"I have no particular interest in any of the stuff left behind by those rabid toys." Avgustus states. "However, I do have an interest in why they attacked us. Normally toys aren't modified to have serrated blades for hands and voice boxes that have the capability to ruin hearing."

"Of course. Any time, Bers." Avgustus looks in the direction Bers shouts, and hands him a flask from his coat. Fix-It was likely too far away to hear. "Perhaps a little nip of my drink will suffice? A bit of brandy in this chill does not hurt."

Well, if we can find their memory cells. I could have MILES look at their programming. I am a little curious myself as to what their goal(s) could be.
