MagPiesRUs Posted June 26, 2008 Posted June 26, 2008 The 'throne' will go to a family member, not me. I am an advisor, I cannot be the King officially. I was the King before, but only in deed. As for the Lords, we have a note that dragonator has confirmed which indicates that there is a traitor amongst the Lords. The most suspicious Lord, aside from that crazy one tap dancing in the corner, is Lord Ash with his spy who may or may not be an assassin. No one is suggesting that we kill all the Lords, so no one could seize power in that way, unless it was through some kind of military action, which I have no authority over.... So do you mean to say that lords, and lords only are involved in this terrible plot against the king, simply because they will take power afterwards? Are you saying that there is no other motive to kill him for anyone else? Wouldn't it then be too obvious (your way of immediately dismissing any other idea different from your own?) for a lord to be a traitor? The only reason I can imagine as to why you are solely going after me is that you are the one who is trying to kill me, who is stated in my role. In that case, I wil certainly be watching out for you. One more thing to consider. Where is Lord Ash to vote against the traitor his employee "discovered"? And why doesn't the discovered traitor vote against the one who is trying to have him killed? Because they're both traitors trying to throw off the voting by splitting it.I still think the investigator, by nature, is a neutral character, the pawn in this game. Until I see Lord Ash and General Marcus at each other, I'll know they're in league together. I don't know where you're going with this. How do we know you're not in league with General Marcus? You havn't voted against him, despite an investigator, whom you yourself claim to be innocent having revealed Marcus as a traitor. I have been busy lately as poxed as a Dwarf lately, so I havn't had time to take part in the discussions lately, but now I'm here, I Vote General Marcus, for obvious reasons. (Sorry about the inactivity lately, I've really had to rush this reply too )
Batbrick Posted June 26, 2008 Posted June 26, 2008 I am starting to believe you are right Quarryman, good, er, man. Though it pains my honour to do so, and Clavin I believe to be a traitor, I vote: Lord Ash/ TinyPiesRUs! Sir, I was nothing but loyal to you, but this madness must end.
Hinckley Posted June 26, 2008 Posted June 26, 2008 So you still have split the vote by voting for eachother. What's the tally? I have trouble counting after the memory spell...
Batbrick Posted June 26, 2008 Posted June 26, 2008 So you still have split the vote by voting for eachother. What's the tally? I have trouble counting after the memory spell... This has turned to madness, that's what! If my Lord is convicted and is revealed to be a loyalist, then I believe Rodrigous to be the instigator, playing us against each other!
Shadows Posted June 26, 2008 Posted June 26, 2008 So do you mean to say that lords, and lords only are involved in this terrible plot against the king, simply because they will take power afterwards? Certainly not, but we know for a fact that a Lord is involved in this treachery. There are always lower level hired hands involved, but dealing with the head of the plot will put it to an end quickly. At this point, you're the only person who has shown a motive for both the murder and the attempted murder. But seriously, if I'm wrong, and I'm not, I'll suicide the next day. You can even tell me how you'd like me to do it. Of course, you wouldn't have the pleasure of seeing it, but hey, we can't have everything, can we? Are you saying that there is no other motive to kill him for anyone else? Yes, I'm saying exactly that. Read the transcripts of our recent days. The Friar has been of good cheer, and provided a lot of it to all of us. I still have a hangover from his holy spirits. So what went wrong for him? Why would someone try to kill him? Well, he made the mistake of challenging the hired hand of someone powerful. You. I don't blame you, really. It must have been terribly inconvenient when your spy was nearly caught in the act and his cover was blown. Must have been worse when he didn't bother to try to cover it up and admitted he worked for a Lord. I do give you some small credit for admitting that he's yours, but it wasn't really wise either. The only reason I can imagine as to why you are solely going after me is that you are the one who is trying to kill me, who is stated in my role. In that case, I wil certainly be watching out for you. No one has tried to kill you, unlike our Friar. I'm pursuing you because you fit the facts. It isn't hard to put together from what we know at this point. I don't know where you're going with this. How do we know you're not in league with General Marcus? You havn't voted against him, despite an investigator, whom you yourself claim to be innocent having revealed Marcus as a traitor. You vouch for Calvin, Calvin vouches for me, and I accuse you. I had already voted for you when Calvin made his surprise revelation (the first time). Certainly makes it look like he was being told to frame someone to protect you, doesn't it? Or, maybe he was just trying to cover his own posterior. I'll admit, we can't be certain there. So, we'll stick to what we know. You had motive to kill the King. You had motive to kill the Friar. I only have a motive to kill the traitors. Oh, and a warning. If this vote fails, as it sadly may, don't bother killing me or you've convicted yourself. There have been enough slipups already, don't make it any more obvious on yourself. This has turned to madness, that's what! If my Lord is convicted and is revealed to be a loyalist, then I believe Rodrigous to be the instigator, playing us against each other! Rotrigous! (I can't spell it either ) Remember, I didn't turn him against you, Calvin did, supposedly, but I sincerely think he's using Calvin to frame you to try to divert suspicion from himself. I bet he wishes he'd pulled that on me, instead. Oh look, a note: The crow flies at dawn. The lambs bury bones in the park. *hands it to Lord SlinkyDink* I think it's one of your Fabuland friends.
Batbrick Posted June 26, 2008 Posted June 26, 2008 Remember, I didn't turn him against you, Calvin did, supposedly, but I sincerely think he's using Calvin to frame you to try to divert suspicion from himself. I bet he wishes he'd pulled that on me, instead. My goodness man! A most dastardly plot indeed! This puts Calvin back on my "suspect" list, though I still feel guilty for voting for Ash, but it seems the right thing to to
WhiteFang Posted June 26, 2008 Posted June 26, 2008 There is something very fishy around here... It seemed we are split into 3 possible paths... Where are the rest of the members? Why aren't they talking..... Till now, I will stick my support and stand by my vote. I will pray that my vote have at least gotten hold of one the traitor....
Batbrick Posted June 26, 2008 Posted June 26, 2008 There is something very fishy around here... It seemed we are split into 3 possible paths... Where are the rest of the members? Stash2Sixx Posted June 26, 2008 Posted June 26, 2008 There's this creek... And three of you are in a boat on this creek... Can anyone guess the name of the creek? Facts people! Everyone talks about accusations and how no one has anything to back them up. Oh boo hoo, we killed another innocent bystander, a loyalist to our cause..... COME ON! At the rate we are going, a few of you are gonna argue about nothing all day! Think please and do what you say. IF Calvin is lying, then he dies without question tomorrow. Calvin told us "the facts", thats why there are at least three votes for General Marcus. Let's see where this goes. Until we get a traitor to die, you can all kiss my @#$@$% and get your own food. Because since Ernest is dead, it's now my kitchen! Lord Savril and Calvin may have food though. I like the way they vote! Cellar keeper, make a decision, we need wine for dinner, and if you don't join us, I'll just keep dinner from you too. BEEF! It's what's for dinner. And no, there will be no potatoes. Quick thought people???????????????????? Where the hell is Lady Suzanne? As the wife of a potentially 'dead man walking', I would think she would have something to say. Oh well, big surprise we don't hear from her again, not like it's anything new.....
Shadows Posted June 26, 2008 Posted June 26, 2008 Quick thought people????????????????????Where the hell is Lady Suzanne? As the wife of a potentially 'dead man walking', I would think she would have something to say. Oh well, big surprise we don't hear from her again, not like it's anything new..... I'm fairly sure she's doing her hair, or her nails, or something. But she said she'd be ready "in a minute." Then what happened? I sat on the couch and waited. And... It's three hours later. We've already missed the movie and she comes out to ask if she should wear the blue dress or the green one... And that's when you picked up the candlestick? I HAD NO CHOICE! You understand that, don't you? DON'T YOU??? Uh. Bluervo? Yes? Could you turn back to the other show? Do I have to? Are we going to keep answering a question with a question all night? Do you think we can? Would we really want to? Don't you know? Know what? SHHHHHHHHHHH! Who was that? How should I know? Why are you asking me? Didn't you ask me first? QUIET!!!!!!!! Was that him again? Who? So, that's when you picked up the candlestick? I HAD NO CHOICE! Those two wouldn't shut up! You understand, don't you??? Yes, of course we do. *camera fades* That was a horrible episode. Yeah. Who would believe that? *camera fades*
WhiteFang Posted June 26, 2008 Posted June 26, 2008 For now, my vote goes to Lord Ash/TinyPiesRUsRotrigous, I pray that you have gotten a traitor in your bag instead of a loyalist. There are far too many deaths.... And yet, none of them is a traitor. Sorry, who did you vote for? This is my vote. Dragonator, please don't count this entry as my vote, as it might lead to double vote.
iamded Posted June 26, 2008 Posted June 26, 2008 Ha! I've finally done it! I've read through 7 pages of accusations and arguments in trying to find out how I got my title, and I've discovered I'm going to vote for Lord Ash! For you see, after all the accusations and words and stuff, I've figured that Lord Ash is a Lord, and one of the Lords is a traitor, and Lord Ash has hired Calvin to do his dirty work, so if Lord Ash is taken out and proven guilty, then it's all good. However if he's innocent then we'll know to go after General Marcus. And if he's also innocent then I'll be clueless, and I'll probably fall asleep.

And gents, since this may be my last night, let me buy you all a round of drink, what do you say? I am sorry for my attitude earlier, so for one instance let us drink as friends! Mo I am not "buying" your vote, do with it as you please, but should the tide turn my way please let me have a good final night
Dragonator Posted June 26, 2008 Author Posted June 26, 2008 So you still have split the vote by voting for eachother. What's the tally? I have trouble counting after the memory spell... Your wish is my command... Current votes are as follows: Atoll Dweller (Calvin): 1 TinyPiesRUs (LOrd Ash): 7 Batbrick (General Marcus): 4 I have just recently been informed that KurttKrueger will be leaving us due to family commitments behond his control. However, I have had another person request being able to join, one Adam, a fairly new member. If their are no objections, he will join us in Day 4. Since there is now one less player until then, the majority vote has been reduced to 9. Until we get a traitor to die, you can all kiss my @#$@$% and get your own food. Because since Ernest is dead, it's now my kitchen! What? Who said you were chef? I want to be chef! Um, perhaps not the best idea... Why can't I be the chef? I've got some good plans for desert. And I think I have a good way to use those potatoes s they don't go to waste! Yes, perhaps leave it to the servants. But- The squabbling was taken outside. Those nearby were wondering why the host was talking to himself during the ad breaks.
Quarryman Posted June 26, 2008 Posted June 26, 2008 Your wish is my command...Current votes are as follows: Atoll Dweller (Calvin): 1 TinyPiesRUs (LOrd Ash): 7 Batbrick (General Marcus): 4 I have just recently been informed that KurttKrueger will be leaving us due to family commitments behond his control. Since there is now one less player until then, the majority vote has been reduced to 9. Inertia also had to leave, has this been taken into account when calculating how many votes are needed? So we only have to make two more persons understand that Lord Ash deserves to die, that should be doable. I think. Even though time is running out. I wonder if Hinckley/Lord Savril can be convinced to change his vote. And the good friar hasn't cast a vote yet. Haven't checked the complete transcript of the voting to see who else could be worth trying to persuade. (though I'm quite sure we can't convince Lord Ash to vote for himself, or Calvin to vote for his employer )
Shadows Posted June 26, 2008 Posted June 26, 2008 So we only have to make two more persons understand that Lord Ash deserves to die, that should be doable. I think. Let us hope that two more loyalists see the light before the end of this day, which, as I understand it, is less than 24 hours away. Remember: If I'm wrong, I'm dead. :skull: (OOC: It sounds extreme, but this is going to get really boring if it doesn't start moving, and I think this could start it. I regret that I have but one life to give for my kingdom. ) (though I'm quite sure we can't convince Lord Ash to vote for himself, or Calvin to vote for his employer ) I don't know, if we let Majiko cook, we may all be voting for ourselves.
Dragonator Posted June 26, 2008 Author Posted June 26, 2008 I don't know, if we let Majiko cook, we may all be voting for ourselves. Hey, I'll have you know that back in my day, I was the finest cook in all the land! People would come from miles around to taste my honey-brazed pheasant. What's a honey-brazed pheasant? I have no idea, but that's not the point now, is it. Don't worry about it, if Majiko made it, you don't want to try it. Hey! Well it's true! Do you remember that time we were stuck on a frosty mountain with just you, me, and that bloody pack animal? Yeah, I knew I didn't cook it well enough, a little too rare I think. That's because you didn't cook it at all! Oh right, I knew I forgot something. But we can only learn from our mistakes. Some people never learn. Yes, like you never learn not to turn your back on Ragnir during a stones game. What? Ragnir! And I would have gotten away with it too, if it hadn't been for that meddling wizard and his big hat! My pleasure.
MagPiesRUs Posted June 26, 2008 Posted June 26, 2008 Ha! I've finally done it! However if he's innocent then we'll know to go after General Marcus. And if he's also innocent then I'll be clueless, and I'll probably fall asleep. Hmm, this all feels familiar... Bear in mind that I'm the one who hired Calvin, so if I am to die, he will no longer be able to investigate. (OOC: Sorry, I'm still very busy, so I've just skimmed through the last few pages. I'll give a better defense tommorow, I'll be active for the next 3 days after that... )
commanderbly42 Posted June 26, 2008 Posted June 26, 2008 Cellar keeper, make a decision, we need wine for dinner, and if you don't join us, I'll just keep dinner from you too. Keep your hair on, I'm just having a bit of a hangover, that's all. Maybe I'm just too passive but I think that I'll wait to here Lord Ash's defence before I vote (now doesn't that sound familiar?). ;)
AgentRick Posted June 26, 2008 Posted June 26, 2008 Well, now that my hair is done(OOC:Working on my Indy contest entry), I guess I have to watch what happens. And I would never vote off my husband, why would I think of something like that?
Quarryman Posted June 26, 2008 Posted June 26, 2008 My Lady, I'm sure no-one expects anything less from you, not standing by your husband would be a disgrace. As for the rest of you, the time has come to make a choice; time is running out fast (less than 12 hours left now...)
Stash2Sixx Posted June 26, 2008 Posted June 26, 2008 This castle is in big trouble! Only four votes for one 'for sure' traitor????? WOW! And everyone wants to go after Lord Ash? Based on what....a possibility? Come on people, I recognize those italics anywhere...they are that of Lord Dragonator! Reread what Calvin wrote people. Also look who all the voters of Lord Ash and Calvin are; potential traitor posse right there!!!!! Of course, this is the dark ages and I realize creative thinking is not the stongest suit of our 'people of power'. Steaks are ready for my crew. At least we eat well tonight, maybe that's why no one else can see this logically?
Shadows Posted June 27, 2008 Posted June 27, 2008 This castle is in big trouble!Only four votes for one 'for sure' traitor????? You mean four votes for someone accused by the only two people with clear motives? That's right. Four people are allowing themselves to be misled. Hopefully, a couple of them will realise that in time and change their votes to Lord Ash, or we're going to go another day without justice. Seriously people. Time is running out and it only takes 2 more votes for us to finally finish off a traitor, guaranteed. Let's get this done, for the memory of the King and for our own protection before someone else is attacked in the night!
WhiteFang Posted June 27, 2008 Posted June 27, 2008 Time is running out! Please decide your votes, otherwise we have wasted an entire week day of debates and statements. If you can't decide, trust on your instinct. It's better to get them by the "day" instead of by the "night"....
Hinckley Posted June 27, 2008 Posted June 27, 2008 Lady Dolores says she wants to see someone die already so I unvote Batbrick/General Marcus and vote Tiny Pius /Lord Ash. I didn't want to do that again...in this lifetime so sorry old friend/former nemesis. I guess it's your lot in life to die again and again...
