[OL - TROOP] 1st Grenadier Guards Heading to New Haven

Two companies of the 1st Grenadier Guards have arrived in Fatu Hiva to take on fresh water and supplies enroute to the New Haven Sea. Colonel Beauchamp thought it would do the long beleaguered city some good to see the Crown's elite troops in full panoply and so marched them out in style upon disembarking. 

Even though the stop was only a temporary waypoint enroute lock horns with the Lotii, the sight of the grenadiers seemed up uplift the hearts of the recently liberated population. 

Beauchamp wondered how the people of Fatu Hiva felt to know that his orders were to fight a combined campaign along side Red Coats. Certainly, there would be strong opinions here, even if all could rationally understand the value of cooperation in the face of a more urgent foe. Still though, the stop in the city reminded all of the importance of the upcoming campaign, the foundation for a lasting peace that success could bring, and the sea of potential crises that failure would give rise too. Though all, remembering the plight of Fatu Hiva in the recent war reminded all that there was much distance between "working with the Red Coats" and "Trusting the Red Coats."  

Note: This is an new EGS Troop Raising Build, but carries the story forward as the new troops in Fatu Hiva are freshly arrived enroute to New Haven from Terraversa.

I also really like how you didn't make the dock just reddish brown, but mixed it with some other accent colours!

It looks impressive as the fully equipped soldiers are marching on the dock! Looks good as the waves splash against the pillars.

Best bayonets around ! Less elegant than 1-piece ones but more "lego-like" (if that word can exist) and more versatiles and imo.

Glad that was appreciated.

Soldiers pride themselves on their experience and demonstrate it by wearing faded old uniforms with the marks of many long campaigns.

Officers pride themselves on discipline and professionalism and so clean sharp new uniforms are expected. Also, a sign of class that Officer's should not be too broke to buy a new coat when needed.
