I have made more pictures, but uploading them with the smartphone isnt really funny.

Yeah i feel this. I usually download   pictures to bricksafe using my phone and i takes ages to download many pictures luckily now as technology evolves i can just share the pictures to my laptop and not need to plug in my phone into the computer anymore:)

Thank you for uploading new pictures for the jcb. The excavator looks really cool:)

Agreed!!! Is there any estimate on when it will become available? Definitely on my 'must have' list!

What's interesting is that on the supercar, those orange pin with ball socket pieces actually already exist in lego but are a retired part.

They came in those lego sports sets with the spring loaded platform that you would put the  footballer minifigs on in order to "kick" the ball.

They came in bright light green iirc

Are you talking about the bottoms of this assembly?

Are those actually able to accept towballs?

Maintaining the purity of style is also a style. IMHO, a mixed style in Lego does not always look good, even though both the system and the technics have parts made in the same size. IMHO, filling the voids in the technics with "brickwork" looks bad. If you need to make it close to the original, then the outer part of the model should be made entirely of bricks, and the frame can be technics. On the other hand, a mixed style is also a style and a matter of taste.

Nice low quality bite :laugh_hard:

I never heard that part can assemble with joint ball. And even if it can, that part didn't sold separately so meanless.

It's just interesting to see how the Technics section admires the "brickwork" in a car supposedly released in the Technics style.

For some reason, another vector of development - the release of their own Technics panels causes more negation, although the models with them look much better. For example, "Eikee Y10000 McLaren Solus GT" contains new cast wings for wheels and a windshield, and is otherwise assembled from ordinary Lego Technics parts. And this is not the first experience of releasing their own wings - previously in China, Lamborghini and Porsche models were released with unique wings, which then "went" to other models. Lego also doesn't plan on stopping with the design of wheel wings, judging by McLaren.

That's because it doesn't hold / assemble a ball joint. Just tested it at home and it's too wide. The piece that CaDA is using is their own design and therefore also new.

This is not a new part - it was previously in black in the CADA C63003 sports car (the manual was from 2022) and has the number JF4045.

Hi guys, here are some pictures from the AMG

And some new parts

Hey, looked at the pictures of the JCB220X from @efferman.  Isn't there the same problem as with 8043? The gears that drive the linear actuators for the boom are on opposite sides and that's why the boom doesn't move smooth? If I remember correctly, I changed this on my 8043 after reading it here in the forum, but I can't find the topic anymore...

Can anyone confirm this?

Sorry, but I'm not good with comments, copy-paste and quotes :)

On that TechnicBRICKS post, Conchas wrote "In order to achieve the full LA extent, the driving axle-hole needs to turn 26 full revolutions. To be more precise it is in fact around 26,5 full revolutions." So, maybe if one counts 26.0 revolutions (from zero to full extension) on both Linear Actuators, they would be set up equally in an ideal, non-binding way.

Conchas continues his Linear Actuator review in Part II: http://technicbricks.blogspot.com/2008/08/tbs-techreview-05-technic-pf-linear.html . Of note is his "Parallel Synchronous Setup" picture 3/4 of the way down that webpage. Note that the Gray Idler Gears are on the SAME side (which may help in the 8043 Motorized Excavator set):
