Sounds good. I was never going to get this as the MCU just doesn't grip me that much anymore, but this sounds pretty solid. Nice that Wasp is finally getting the new helmet.

I'm only potentially getting it for the sake of display/storing of my MCU characters from Phase 1-3, a last hurrah if you will, before I move onto other Marvel or Lego stuff to collect. The delays have cemented it as being time to just let the MCU go.

That's me with the NWH set, though even then I'll probably wait for a sale. I'll still get the occasional small set or bricklink a fig, but I'm largely done with the MCU (Come to think of it, besides a couple mechs, my last MCU set was the 2019 hall of armor. Which tracks with Endgame being the last film-excluding NWH- that I really cared about enough to want sets for.)

I did like guardians 3, but the MCU as a whole has lost my interest. None of the new projects have really invested me, save moon knight, which itself had issues. And the continuations of characters I did care about, like Thor 4, ant-man 3, and Dr Strange MoM, were pretty rough films that largely sidelined or failed to develop their protagonists in favor of introducing newer, younger characters- ones that completely failed to endear me to them. (I am terrified of what they're gonna do to Daredevil, especially after watching his episode of She-Hulk.)

While there is still time to hear more news, very surprised Helen Cho (small role in AoU that majority of fans have likely forgotten) is included over Selvig (recurring role across 2 Avengers and 3 Thor films)

 

New clearer images of the advert calendar have surfaced, a fun little inclusion is the bunny toy from Ant Man (though not as freaky looking, that would require a new print). Is anyone able to identify what torso and head Cap is using? Thought it was young Solo, but it also looks a bit different, but maybe it's just me

In the exact same boat. MCU feels bloated and barely minimal effort now. And considering that Daredevil is my favorite marvel series (or maybe even piece of marvel media period) I am so scared to see what they do with the new series. I’m already turned off by the fact they aren’t bringing back foggy or Karen. Overall, I’m hoping they finish out the infinity saga with some films/sets we’ve never gotten and then move onto more comic based sets.

The bunny is a fun inclusion lol. The cap torso is the one from the quinjet, the head however I cannot identify. I also thought it looked like the solo head at first. But I wanna know if it includes his mask with head from the quinjet. If not, I will definitely pass on this set.

Is it not a reference to the giant bunny that Tony buys Pepper for Christmas in Iron Man 3.

Making a new, big head mould with a stud on top would be a weird move if they were just gonna make separte head moulds for characters with hair.

it's just a guess, maybe a bigfig toupee doesn't meet the sturdiness requirements… maybe it's one of the reasons why we've waited so long for a new Hulk… even ghost rider has the fire glued… just speculation…

I was really hoping for an updated Happy in the tower, the other one looks nothing like Favreau. Wishful thinking the leaker mistook him for Wong because he had the short curly hairpiece? Bit weird that Wong would be here otherwise.

I just hope it looks good for that price.

Especially since Strange is missing. Granted, a lot of the characters make little sense here as the Avengers moved to a new HQ right after AoU. Then again, I‘d rather have a long list of anachronistic minifigs than a short list of scene-accurate ones, so I‘m not complaining 

Loki and Selvig being absent is annoying though

I’d say since it’s primarily based on Age of Ultron, it’s most likely we see reuses of the Cap and Widow from the recent bike set

Makes about as much sense as including Professor Sinistra in the HP Chamber of Secrets over Draco or Snape, or two random unnamed Hogwarts students over adult Ron and Hermione in the HP Collectors Edition Hogwarts Express, and for much the same reason I'd guess (hint: diversity).

I would imagine her inclusion being based on the medical floor in the tower. Where she can treat Clint and black widow can be there too with that smoothie cup piece. Love her line “pretending to need this guy really brings the team together”

I was thinking the same thing as that bunny was a christmas present. But it would be cool if its both really. Up to who buys it. A cassie figure could hold this bunny.

I would glue my hulks hair anyway since we dont have anothe big fig heads to swap hair with yet.

also it would be so funny in the lego infinity saga game (which needs to happen) if the avengers go looking for thanos after the snap on his farm and he is wearing that new hairpiece as a disguise lol

Also minifig collectors and HP fans love those inclusions. Even though it was a small character, its design was amazing!

i can see Helen Cho being a character with no leg printing. The daily bugle had so many reuses and plain legs im already making a list of marvel characters here that wont have leg printing.

scarlet witch (maybe she will have the skirt piece too)

pepper potts

wong

falcon (maybe if he is based on the end of the movie. Best alternative would be dual molded legs)

And if quicksilver is included (holding thumbs) then he will have plain legs too. Lets hope lego surprises us.

Loki and selvig definitely be in here. Even if Loki would be a reuse

I'm amazed by this concern for Loki, haven't you guys taken the Quinjet? It's a great set :-O and I really hope Hulk, Hawkeye and Mark 6 complete the 2012 team

Adult Ron and Hermione have never ever been made, so I very much doubt anyone would have enough of them to build a coffee table out of. Their omission in the Hogwarts Express set was widely complained about.

And some people care less about collecting minifigs that have never before been included and more about whether the set (referring to both play functions and story) makes sense with the ones included. There is nothing Professor Sinistra adds to the story or playability of CoS. Meanwhile, Draco is a huge omission both because the set has a play function for the dueling club, and even includes the snake from Draco's spell, and because his "Heir of Slytherin" antics are what sets the entire polyjuice plot in motion. Snape, meanwhile, really should be there as a foil for Lockhart in the dueling club.

A bigfig hairpiece is likely more sturdy than a minifig hairpiece, right? It's got more plastic to work with.

I would assume so as well. It doesn't bother me as much as the HP collectors edition one, though, because they're at least interesting figs and characters with significant roles in the universe.

That minifig line-up for the Avengers Tower sounds amazing, even with the many reuses.
I'm mainly excited for Wasp, Ultron, and Vision. The new Hulk and Iron Man armors sound appealing too, but are probably repeats, design-wise.

This makes set altogether sound more appealing as well. Let's hope we get pictures of the entire thing, soon

Early review of spiderman final battle on ytb... tempting though steep asking price, a bigger chunk of lady liberty would have been fantastic... but on sale why not I guess. Other regret of mine is that bar for Andrew, the likeness of the other two spidermen isn't really there (imo).
