But please prove me wrong lego 🙏. If I’m being honest, I would really like this set to be another flash movie one so we can round out the roster with Dark flash and the other Barry. But I think there’s also a chance that’s the aqua man set too? Would be a lot of money for it, but you never know Aquaman would have a set number from last year since the film was originally supposed to release then. We've got two set numbers that fit that description, one we know is coming in August. I'm guessing that's the Aquaman set.

Most Batman characters don't need more than head and torso prints. That could also work. A lot of characters in say, an Arkham set, could probably get away with being either straight repeats or variations that wouldn't require new prints from the 2019-2021 sets (Batman, Robin, Batgirl, Nightwing, Batwoman, Gordon, Joker, Poison Ivy, Penguin, Mr. Freeze, Catwoman, Riddler, Man-Bat, and the Arkham jumpsuit torsos from the 4+ Arkham set come to mind), which would leave more room to new characters and variants that would definitely need new prints. It's worth noting though that even after the Daily Bugle got a $50 price increase, it still has a price of about 9.3 cents per piece, noticeably lower than whatever this Batman D2C is. I'd assume there must logically be some sort of reason why the Batman set will be $100 more despite only having about 200 pieces more than the Bugle. Edited February 20, 2023 by spiderfan2000
SoupOrFishOil Posted February 21, 2023 Posted February 21, 2023 It's good to see this thread active. Can someone please sum up for me how we know that the D2C is not the BTAS display that leaked? There must be a good reason we are expecting something else but I missed it while I was skimming the thread. Thanks!

The BTAS skyline is smaller in price and piece count according to the survey, and also the earliest it can release is next year.

Two Face would be an interesting mold but surely not that expensive. But maybe it's several Cowl molds for different Batmen? Two-Face shouldn't need a new mold. The hairpiece on the 2019 Rebirth figure would work fine for a Batman Forever version. Even B&R Bane could get away with being a regular minifigure as he really wasn't much bigger in size than Drax is.
GoldenNinja3000 Posted February 21, 2023 Posted February 21, 2023 If it's an Arkham Asylum I'll never say anything bad about LEGO ever again. I love the 2013 set and a huge D2C version of it would make me cry with joy.

spiderfan2000 Posted February 21, 2023 Posted February 21, 2023 Considering Brick Clicker has an IG poll to decide the next D2C info drop, with Super Heroes (not specifying if it's Marvel, DC or both) being one of the options against Icons and Ideas/Architecture, I can only hope that the wait for more information on the Batman D2C will be a very short one at this point.

Agent Kallus Posted February 21, 2023 Posted February 21, 2023 Thinking about what this could be f not an Arkam, batcave or Wayne Manor (with batcave). It could be Wayne tower, that would be able to fit in better with the modulars and batman often has a secondary hideout there. It could be the DC equivalent to the daily bugle Here's a list of all the bugle figure with DC equivalents that could be in a Wayne Manor set (I'll edit this into a spoiler to save space when I'm on pc but I'm on my phone right now) Fire Star - Vixen, Blade, Doctor Octopus - Mister Freeze, Spider-Man - Batman, J. Jonah Jameson - Lex Luthor, Betty Brant - Vicky Vake, Venom - Clayface, Miles Morales - Nightwing, Spider-Ham - BatMite, Green Goblin - The Joker, Gwen Stacy -Spoiler, Carnage -Manbat, Punisher - Slade, Peter Parker - Bruce Wayne, Spider-Gwen - Oracle , Black Cat - Catwoman, Robbie Robertson - Alfred Pennyworth , Ben Urich - Lucius Fox, Mysterio - Mad hatter, Daredevil - Orphan, Sandman - Ventriloquist and scarface, Aunt May - Harvey Dent, a newspaper worker - Office worker 1, a New York taxi driver - office worker 2, and a receptionist - a receptionist. But it's a bigger set so let's also include Damien Wayne, Red Robin, The Question, Two Face, The riddler, Harley, Guy Gardener, commissioner Gordon and Amanda Waller Or maybe a Gotham city street done like diagon alley, it could have the iceberg longue, the botanical gardens, a gcpd station, a court of owls meeting place, a court and ace chemicals.

That would be cool, Arkham City would be nice as well. For me, if the set turns out to be an Arkham or the Batcave I really want it to be the definitive version. Sure their will be more smaller versions, but for 449,99 it has to be THE lego version of that location. The previous versions of Arkham were already really good. I think the only way they can truly do that location even more justice, especially for that price, is if it were based on the Arkham games, which obviously had the most fleshed out version of that location. For the batcave I would like to see either the Keaton Batcave or Animated Series/Comic accurate one (with the dinosaur and everything.) Those are the ones that jump to mind whenever I think of the batcave because they're the ones that actually looked like a cave. I liked all the versions we had in lego, but I feel the only one that ever came close to that feeling and scale was the original one from 2006.

Wayne Tower could work as a modular. So could a Gotham City street. But, at like $200-$300. Not $450. At that price point, it's gotta be someplace really, really iconic like the Batcave or Arkham Asylum. Doesn't mean Lego wouldn't do it. I just don't see it selling well unless it's Arkham or the Batcave, or it really justifies the price point by being that good looking or including a bunch of highly desirable figures with arm and leg printing. spiderfan2000 Posted February 21, 2023 Posted February 21, 2023 A Diagon Alley-style Gotham set does sound like a neat idea, though we also know that the Batman D2C has about 1600 pieces less than Diagon Alley despite being the same price. That would probably allow for at most 3 building modules instead of the 4 Diagon Alley includes if they went that route (My top 3 picks in that case would probably be the GCPD building, Iceberg Lounge, and Ace Chemicals)
Surge Posted February 21, 2023 Posted February 21, 2023 i wonder if brickclicker is releasing a video today (whatever the winner of the poll was)
