LEGO Nostalgia eating a Commander Bly, THELEGOBATMAN changing his pic to Supes…

Some men just want to watch the world burn. Like me!

Well, in the spirit of changing profile pics, whenever I get the Superman mech, I’ll change my profile to Lex with a classic smiley… if we don’t have word on Superman (2025) sets..

If we get a comic-accurate Guy Gardner next year I will change my profile pic to Man. You guys can choose which variant.

Nah man, I’m just dumping my existential pondering onto a LEGO forum. Superman in a mech raises a few essential questions about our existence and the logic thereof.

Hmm… How about Tiger Tuxedo Batman?

Y’know, if we’re gonna bring up stuff from the early 1800s, y’all also burned down our O.G. White House. Kinda a jerk move there, man.

True. But that’s kinda on you guys for letting us get that far. I feel like that if there’s one thing that the British military was good at in the 1800s, it was going on the offensive. 
Need I remind you that the reason the war of 1812 happened in the first place is because you invaded us in Canada first. So yeah, you kinda brought that on yourselves.

I love being vaguely in-touch with the comics world but not reading any specific titles at the moment (aside from Skybound Transformers). I know Waller's up to something big, and that it has something to do with erasing superheroes (and that currently a story about a 40 year old spider-man allied with an iron man-esque Green Goblin is outselling the mainline spider-man comics just because the writers don't have a burning desire to make Peter's life miserable in the former one), but no specifics. It's a lot of fun.

I swear we make this joke every time someone mentions henchmen/goons. Which is very in-character for this forum.

Yeah I mean I don't think I put enough of a point on it in my comments earlier, since I think it may indicate lower chances of film tie-ins for superman, but either way, getting a non-batman set is a MASSIVE win for lego DC. One of the most important things that can happen for this theme's continued survival is for it to prove it can be successful beyond batman.

Yes BUT he can fly. Laser eyes. AND don't take any damage.

Parasite, Metallo, Zod, Brainiac, Bizarro, Mongal, Darkseid, Doomsday, Superboy Prime, and several others would disagree. Especially Doomsday. It would have made 1992-93 really awkward otherwise.
