I see that but it's kinda irrelevant in this set up right? It's a death battle the men will instantly charge him, given the numbers I don't know if he gets out full a sentence before his being throttled. Even if he could what's he got to work off? He's got no power in the situation and I imagine in a death battle scenario they don't leave until the other sides dead right? There's nothing to play off unless the men are all stupid. I think Mr Jokes gets twatted no matter what.

Manipulating people and situations is what makes Joker such a formidable foe and just viewing this as a brute strength struggle ignores what the character is capable of and misses out on the most interesting part of the premise. Since this started with Phoenix Joker, let’s look at the scene from the first movie where he’s being chased by the two cops. He doesn’t have time to plan ahead. The cops aren’t stupid. So how does he get out of it? Does he overpower the two cops in a 2v1 showdown. Of course not, because he’s the Joker. He manipulates the situation, tricking the cops into provoking the mob and then uses the mob to fight his battle for him. Ledger’s Joker is never caught in a situation he didn’t orchestrate, but I imagine given how resourceful he is shown to be, that he would manage to manipulate the situation in some way to benefit him.

Also, if we just go by physicality, Leto Joker is the only one who works out and thus has the best odds, so that can’t be right.

I think it’s concerning that you have a secret camera in his house. (U-Wing is easily one of the best sets of the year)

This is genuinely the greatest thing I've ever seen.

They need to hang this in the Louvre, NOW! 🗣

My wife did nothing wrong! We'll be reunited one day, I love her as much as ever. 🗣

In all seriousness though, I've been one of the very few people who were extremely excited for this series since it got announced. Where others thought it redundant, I saw potential.

After watching the first season, I could confidently say it's one of my favourite series of all time. After watching the second season, I can confidently say it's my favourite series of all time—and easily one of my favourite projects in general, ever (considering movies, games, books etc.).

It's impeccable, and makes me feel things I've never felt before. I've never cried watching a movie or a series—and I still haven't, but I can say this season was the closest I've ever been to that (during the Ep. 8 speech montage, the Ep. 12 montage, and the Ep. 12 final scene).

— — —

The spoiler tags don't work though, and I had a bunch of other thoughts written down. Either I don't know how to use them and I'd appreciate someone telling me how, or I'll post them in a week in the Star Wars thread.
Dedra 💖

Dedra 💖
I thought it stumbled a bit early on but ended up as some of the best star wars we've ever had. The final 5 episodes are incredible, the last arc is absolute peak, and the final montage/scenes are incredible. I was shocked that

Spoiler

Kleya of all people, who wasn't all that notable beforehand- even if S2 gave her a bit more than S1- comes out of nowhere to be the unmitigated MVP of the final arc.

As for Dedra, hey,

Spoiler

At least she's not dead, even if her husband nearly took her there after gaining a conscience... and she proceeded to botch her life's goal. Maybe you can reach out to Kino Loy to get her out of that prison.

Theory: @THELEGOBATMAN is Manny Bothans and discovered the construction of a 2nd Death Star when he attempted to rescue Dedra from Narkina 5. As he found out that the prisons were still manufacturing Death Star parts despite it having been exploded.

TheLegoBothan then alerted the Alliance and faked his death so he could live happily ever after with his war criminal wife.

Now that would be Kino (Loy)

You know they're just announced some Andor S2 lifesize cardboard cutouts, and there's a Dedra Meero!

A secret camera? Oh, of course not, that’d be ridiculous.

Although you reckon I should hold off on posting any more photography before I find a way to to sneak out of his place? Oh I almost forgot this one:

1280x720.jpg

U-Wing is one of the best SW sets, second to only the UCS Slave 1 Spray-Fire. (Then again, who knows? That UT-Turbo might blow us away. XP) For the whole company, though, there’s some pretty stiff competition—Tudor Corner, van Gogh’s Sunflowers, the T-Rex skeleton*, even the AoU Quinjet—and let’s not forget the Soup Mech! (Unironically, it might become one of my favourite sets from this year—the poses, the stories, the laughs… the Aslume incarnate.)

Absolutely agreed on all but one count—the 4-6 episodes weren’t bad, just dense; without all that ground work we don’t feel nearly as much later on, I feel. It’s definitely better than S1’s nothin’-burger of a fifth episode.

Hot take: That final walk Andor takes would’ve gone a lot better with Bee Gee’s Stayin’ Alive. That man ain’t just walkin’—he be strutting.

Spoiler

She did turn out to be more than meets the eye (she did transform from a patient to a nurse to a bomb specialist. I’m going to need a full rewatch of Andor to pick up on any clues to her character along the way. I’m especially glad she made it at the very end. (Come to think of it, her living to see a sunrise Luthen will never see pays off that epic monologue. There’s so much to dissect with this show.)

Literally had about this exact idea for a potential Rogue Two—more or less on the Eurobricks communication, though.

Kino? There are only two Kino’s: Andor’s Kino and Ninjago’s (O)Kino.

*Why has no one went out and bought the T-Rex to place Rex Fury in his place of honour atop? I would, but I still have the Bugle to buy… Don’t tempt me, though.

Uh, no, this is wrong, because I've mentally blocked Joker 2's existence from my brain. There is one good joker movie, they never made a sequel. Same goes for Pacific Rim. Just like how Avatar the last Airbender is a great cartoon with no live action adaptions.

Thought you were going say AtLA had no sequels and I was ready to fight tooth and nail to defend The Legend of Korra. But the live action adaptations, yeah they're both pretty bad, the show is better than the movie but still totally misses the soul and spirit of the show.

Probably because in Title card Rex Plode

Spoiler

Died

And they're saving the rex for his memorial. Then again Titlecard is the show I've watched that

Spoiler

undoes death the most frequently but I can't see how he'd come back from that!!

Korra only escapes my ire because complain about it given the other post-ATLA shows/movies would be like complaining about a waiter putting pickles on my burger when they've given me a side of dog feces- I don't particularly like the former, but at least it's food- it's clearly not the main issue.

In the comics

Spoiler

Rex indeed splodes here, although at the same time Ant-Man is a dude and dies in the lizard league fight so it wouldn't be their first change- also pretty much everything with the demons, both in the first season and the hinted at season 4 storyline isn't in the comics.

But at the same time it's kind of a big moment and unlike most of the "character's totally dead- oh, nope, they survived that", this would be the first time in the show- so far- that they led the audience to believe a character was concretely killed for more than a scene or two before revealing they lived. Plus we see that he got hit with the Thunderbolts Void kill animation- characters in this show survive some pretty rough injuries but his body literally no longer exists.

I hadn't realize LEGO City Undercover and Titlecard were a shared universe; omniverse, sure; shared multiverse, maybe. Now knowing the game and the show are along the same timeline... gives me something about which to think.

If it is indeed the same Rex...

Spoiler

I contend that he'll respawn in a couple seconds, albeit short a few studs.

I learned I am Hal Jordan today, I guess.

I also can't explain how or why but I feel like Galaxy of Heroes's placement is somehow insulting it (Maybe because I have low opinions of the two projects in the same catagory), and I couldn't be happier. I played that thing for years. If you don't pay money, the experience is hell, and I was the Doom Slayer. I tried to come back awhile ago and they completely changed the UI, but because I opened it once now I consistently get weird fake game ads for it. Does Lucasfilm know the ad companies are doing this? Why do they have to pretend like SWGOH is a different game? Is the branding not enough to snare a large enough amount of people that some of them become whales?

We all are. Most of the Original Trilogy, Andor, Rogue One, Star Wars Jedi games? You'd have to be insane to choose anything else.

Excellent.

But this is the Aslume. I expect insanity.

I’ve also just realised that Hal Jordan and Anakin Skywalker are knockoffs of each other.

Let’s have a look: brown haired character who genocides his own order after being corrupted by an evil version of his order’s power due to fear of loss/ having lost what’s important to him, is a very good/ keen pilot, had an orange skinned sidekick back in the day, kills his former best friend, had a badass evil armoured appearance with cape, is a power-scaling nightmare, defeated and redeemed by a successor to the order who was trained by a old guy with white hair who had previously been a mentor to him, that successor then went on to restart the order, successor’s girlfriend was named Jade, still had a presence for the next few years after his physical death as he became a magical spirit…

Both gained/learned of their powers when the former great one of their order died tragically. Both were trained by said former great one’s friend, much to his reluctance. Both fought back against corrupt and useless councils that self-appointed themselves as the peacekeepers for the universe. Both fight a former member of the order who left due to the councils failure and embraced the evil side.
