As much as I like The Authority I agree, a character like Midnighter is unlikely to be realised in Lego form, ditto for Peacemaker.

BatB depends on what they bring to the table, but if we do get Bat family members I would appreciate ones we don't already have.

Seeing as Guy is leading the charge of DCU GLs, I would put him in the mix somewhere.

I would rather focus on Supergirl than more Wonder Woman for now, personally. 

The Titans have been terribly under represented so far, and I don't know that I can foresee a Tower. It would be awesome, don't get me wrong.

We're going quite far into the unknown here, so I don't know what is in store for Booster but seeing sets that feature the Blue and Gold would be great.

I would love to see Swamp Thing, HoS 92 was my first case of seller's remorse with comics, even if it did line my pocket. I can imagine Waller sets just out hard headedness from Lego. Creature Commandos would be a dream team in Lego.

Honestly, I feel like the next 2 years could be set when it comes to DC Sets based on how many sets we've been getting (except for 2022) for the past few years. 

My Predictions/Wishlist:

2025: 

2 Superman (Gunn Movie) Sets

A Superman Mech (Since Bats is getting his own this year)

Comic based Daily Planet Modular 

Batman The Animated Series Batwing (with Robin)

2026: 

3 The Batman Part II sets

1 Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow Set 

A D2C Batman vehicle

Well if we have a popular movie. We will get sets, many sets.

For example Indiana Jones 5 or LOTR TV-show. Plan was to make many sets BUT both failed. Not so popular. AND then there are movies like The Dark Knight Trilogy which seems to be "too dark" for TLG. Our only hope is popular DC shows, movies, animations ... AND not like joker 2...

But how can they Judge how successful the movie/show is before it even releases? As someone pointed out before, Lego usually makes sets that release before the movie. Case in point: The Marvels, one of Marvel’s biggest box-office flops, received a set prior to release.

Good point. They could make a mech with Guy Gardner. However I believe it would be a missed opportunity as Kyle Rayner is the GL who frequently makes mech and kaiju constructs. He’s basically a massive nerd who got a GL ring thus making him one of my favourite DC characters. However it would be ironic and funny if a Kyle Rayner set did get fridged. IYKYK.

Since you appear to be asking for wish lists and whatnot, here’s my predictions for DCU sets (If Superman does well next year)

2026

The Authority (I hope this is replaced with another thing like Teen Titans or Green Lantern Corps): No sets as they’re unknown and hyper violent characters.

Peacemaker S2: no sets

2027

Brave and Bold: 3-5 sets each one including Batman and another member of the Batfamily.

Lanterns: 1 comic-based tie in set with Hal Jordan, John Stewart and Sinestro. (I feel like this has better chance than the other shows as Green Lantern is a iconic member of the Justice League)

2028

Supergirl Woman of Tomorrow (I honestly think this slot should be taken by a Wonder Woman film): 2-3 sets.

Teen Titans: 2-3 sets and a Titans tower as that year’s D2C Superheroes Modular .

Booster Gold: Maybe 1 set. (I could see them maybe instead doing him in a minifigure pack with other TV show characters like Peacemaker.)

Beyond

Swamp Thing, Waller and Creature Commandos are definitely not getting sets.

I think you'll get your wish, the Authority is likely delayed as when Gunn was asked about why it's not casted he said  “We won’t green light a film until we have a finished script we’re happy with and, in general, we won’t cast a film until the script is finished.This is why some projects are moving faster than anticipated and others more slowly. It’s always gonna be quality first no matter what."

Supergirl, I believe, has had pretty consistent updates, I'd imagine that's more likely to be next after Superman

I'm all for Rayner or pretty much any more Lanterns, of any colour. They would be such an easy in for Lego designers. Lots of vibrant colours, solid and transparent. Lots of scope for builds. For most characters the costume remains the same. I guess that they didn't have a lot of faith in it.

Ok but actually, just so everyone's clear, this is fundamentally and completely untrue.
Indiana Jones- I guess this one is theoretically possible, but tie-in sets almost ALWAYS come out before the movie. The set numbers rumored for the theme turned out to not have been accurate. While the movie doing well doesn't help the chances of getting any future sets, there is absolutely NO evidence that Indy 5 sets were planned.

LOTR: There is, again, ZERO evidence of sets planned for the spinoff show. Also, we've a couple brickheadz and one fig-scaled set for the theme, with one more planned, and both are huge D2Cs. There have not been ANY standard system sets for the actual mainline films since the reboot, so even if the show WAS successful, it's highly unlikely it'd have gotten sets.

Lastly, and most egregiously, the dark knight trilogy is "too dark" for TLG? We've had UCS-styled D2C sets, standard system sets, THERE'S ANOTHER SET FOR THE TRILOGY COMING OUT THIS SUMMER?

Look man. As I've said a thousand times, we all appreciate the enthusiasm for batman. But now you're just saying things that are provably untrue.

He’s referring to the buildable figure and Bat-Pod, there’s nothing else that’s been leaked from TDK trilogy.

I’ll always be supremely disappointed that the one time we sorely needed a new cowl mould and perhaps a shoulder armour piece for Batman, Lego just couldn’t be bothered. That Pattinson Batman figure is a monument to wasted potential.

Also @Mandalorianknight is just pointing out the Bat-Pod and buildable figure that’s releasing this summer lol, not that there’s another hitherto unknown TDK trilogy set we don’t know of.

Is it possible that TLG did not have any idea who plays Batman OR how his suit looks like? ... It is interesting that some of the minifigures, well almost all others are so accurate. Almost I would say. ... MAYBE Batman was kept secret in the end.

Pattinson was cast in 2019, the suit was revealed in 2020, and there's zero logical reason to hide the protagonist of a film away from merchandising

Like it or not, LEGO was lazy and cut corners, nothing else to say about it

Lego just got lazy and didn’t make a new mold. Not really sure what logic they use to decide whether or not to make a new mold, tbh. We just got a (imo unnecessary) new generic Bat cowl mold for three Batman ‘89 sets but not not one for three The Batman sets for which the old mold arguably didn’t work.

If it matters (which i doubt it does, considering the subject matter) some trailers for joker 2 have come out recently, though i highly doubt lego would do anything with the topic, especially since they didn’t do anything for the first film either.

Well, it is too Dark for LEGO. ... for me Joker movies are not Batman universe. They are ok BUT more like serious adults. I see Joker a bit different way than in The Joker movie.
