Hi,

I'm Joakim. Living in Denmark and grew up 30 km from Billund. Almost a local Lego boy 😀

A couple of years ago I found my old Lego sets from around 1990 and had fun building them again. But as you know, building is much more fun than storing, so I made this concept:

1. I buy used LEGO sets from friends and family. Mainly vintage sets from 1980-2000.
2. I clean it up and restore lost items
3. I sell complete sets to collectors
4. I donate 20% of the revenue directly to Save The Children in Denmark

I've collected almost €100 in charity so far in 2024. Check out the campaign here:

Having fun building legos while supporting a good cause - what's not to like? 🙂

I get new sets for sale from time to time. My full collection is available here:

Happy to be a part of this forum.

Hi Joakim,

That is a very nice gesture and a very nice initiative.

However, since this is sales related, we don't allow it in this section of the board. You are donating to charity, which is something we obviously want to support, but at the end of the day there is a revenue stream for you as well.

We do have a buying and selling section, which will open up when you reach 100 posts.

I will also discuss this with other staff members and get back to you.

Keep up the good work.

Thanks for the feedback, Jim.

That's totally fair and I know the concept is a little sales-related - feel free to remove the links or the post if it doesn't comply with the rules.
