There's been plenty of airport sets (https://brickset.com/sets/subtheme-Airport). What do you think could make a future one different? I remember people who thought that they were going to focus more on the plane designs.

I would like to see something a bit different. Whether it is an actual plane or a plane cross-section, I would like to see Lego recreate the interiors of a plane with actual First Class/ Business class seats, economy seats, and flight attendants with their trolley! I think there was an Ideas proposal several months/ years ago.

I think the 2023 passenger airplane did a pretty good job of having two separate classes of seating and a trolley for the flight attendants.

Good but not the best, yes it features some actual seating. But it's just divided with colors. Unlike 7893. Nice modern plane besides the back wing thingy, it's just awful.

Next jumbo jet set must be at least bigger, a all passenger 60262.

City has returned to it's og pattern of vehicle design:

The main thing that's missing is an Actually Big Dump Truck (those articulated 6 wheel trucks used in both mining and construction , not the extreme pit mining ones with 4 wheels), I like the Excavator design but there's nothing to go with it really.

The extremely large Crane will probably scale decently with the rumoured City Tower thing. 

I wonder about that Bulldozer set's scale, really large dozers do also exist (but the largest also have enormous weight over 100 tons / 100.000 kg , so not exactly common)

Not just divided with colors. One seating class has seat back entertainment, the other doesn't.

Yea that too, when I heard class system, I thought you meant a actual barrier /divider. Too bad the first left seat hasn't got such luxury as seat back entertainment.

I really would like to a a dump truck similar to the one we got in mining in 2012 or a Volvo style one. They’d sell out in a flash!

CITY is one of my favourite themes but because there are subthemes like Space, Arctic, Deep Sea or Jungle. City is developing something very amazing! It is great that the theme is not just about City?

For example those Police sets from 2024 look like a CSI TV Show. From series and movies.

Town (1996)

City (2009)

The last time City had a non 4+ dump truck  was 2018 with the mining theme.

 

And then there was the year 2012, a crazy year for City trucks :

2 Garbage trucks (1  closed dump)

2 normal dump truck

1 smaller and 1 huge mining dump truck

2 Transport trucks

No, yeah, I’m very disappointed by the ‘city tower’. The only part of this set that I like is the subway carriage. Sigh.

I think AFOLs might look askance at these sort of sets, but I’m sure it’s a big hit with kids as it has a bit of everything

Looks very fun. The combination of subjects is zany, feels like a scene out of a pop-up book. And new pigeon!

I don't get a ton of City sets but I have gotten most of the recent Space sets so I might wanna get it (especially if the minifigure for the spaceship is new like some of the ones from the other 2025 spaceship were).

Lego City has been going downhill the last five or so years and it keeps getting worse. City Tower should be renamed Clown Headquarters.

Wow, what seems to be the only proper building for Lego city this year, and it’s a freaking mess and disappointment.

but, it does actually have those new main characters from the No limits holiday special so there’s that. I feel like Lego just included them to tempt me into buying this set.
