Ngoc Nguyen Posted February 24 Author Posted February 24 How many cars are there in this year line up? There are: - 5 small car sets: 42204, 42205, 42208, 42212, 42213 - 2 F1, erm, cars: 42206, 42207 - A Nissan Skyline GTR, which is also a car - Two pull back vehicles, which are also cars - A Moon Rover, which is probably a car - A Lamborghini, which is carrer than most cars That is 12 cars over 19 sets. The piece count and the price of the Peugeot are more "reasonable" (1775 pcs for 200€) than 42214's which is in the same league as the RC Porsche and Audi, so that suspects it will be an RC car. NV Lego technic Posted February 24 Posted February 24 Okay, but also not okay... Seriously what is that price/part ratio? Quote

Aurorasaurus Posted February 25 Posted February 25 2 hours ago, gyenesvi said: How many? Probably 1 big supercar and 1-2 F1 cars. It seems like lego has realised the benefit of selling a well known car over selling a new one, so now theres a lot of cars that they could make. A zonda could be cool, but a terrible choice for TLG, since the community has already made some incredible zonda mocs. I think it would be cool if they sold the F1 cars as a chassis set which had all the parts to replicate the different types of suspension the different teams use, and then body kits for each team. But I'm sure it would be a logistical nightmare. Quote

Well if it has more pieces lego could do a suspension for the 42214 because the porsche didn't have any suspension so this would be nice improvement:) _ Quote

Volvos are IMHO the most interesting sets this year; but I was pleasently surprized with Mars sets last year. Quote
Oh_Hi_Mao Posted February 25 Posted February 25 At least this year's flagship set is not a car...last year both largest sets were cars, I bet next year will be the same with 1:8 car and another car or two Quote
Timorzelorzworz Posted February 25 Posted February 25 (edited) The 42214 Lamborghini Revuelto screams for C+ set with the new Hub. If they made the triangular lights lighting and the Car comes in the new reddish orange, this could be a very cool set. Next year we can expect some new larger Helicopter Edited February 25 by Timorzelorzworz Quote

allanp Posted February 25 Posted February 25 Wasn't sure if the excavator was the flagship or the second from flagship, so I'm glad to see it's the flagship. Remain very anxious to see how it could be mechanically much different to 42100, or will it be just a yellow and smaller 42100? Quote
