Guy Posted September 27, 2024 Posted September 27, 2024 Hello All !! When placing a Switch onto a 48 x 48 base plate (see picture), the straight part is fine an can be attached (in BLUE) but when I use a curve to follow the natural patch (in RED) the curved track is maybe half a millimeter too long and therefore when I force it to attach like in Blue, the inside of the track lifts itself a couple of millimeters. It does not fit !! I am new at this and I would not have expected this. Has anyone come across this ? Many thanks for your advices and recommendations. Guy Quote
Guy Posted September 27, 2024 Author Posted September 27, 2024 Never mind ! I used 32 x 32 base plates instead each time I have a switch and it is now working just fine! It is just weird we cannot fit a full switch + 1 curve within a 48 x 48 - it is just that extra half millimeter the issue. Guy Quote
lego3057 Posted September 27, 2024 Posted September 27, 2024 (edited) It has nothing to do with the 48x48 base plates. It should fit, but you have to fix the rails with extra plates under the track (you can not attach them directly on the base plate) Edited September 27, 2024 by lego3057 Quote

I did attach the tracks using plates, not directly on the base plate: it just doesn't fit. But again with the 32x32 no issue ! Quote
