erik1 Posted September 28, 2024 Posted September 28, 2024 (edited) I've decided to stop working on my AT-AT, but if someone wants the Bricklink file with the leg I can send it to you. They're roughly in minifigure scale (slightly too big) and are poseable, using technic turntables and wormgears which can be screwed from the outside. The ankles are also posable, with the leg standing on the "horse-shoe", as are the toes. I haven't built them in real life so I don't know for sure how sturdy they are, but I believe they should be ok. Edited April 6 by erik1 Quote

Max_Lego Posted February 18 Posted February 18 It's so sad that you won't be able to finish this beautiful AT-AT. The legs look fantastic! So much effort cannot be put into them in vain... Good luck on your next projects! I hope they will be more successful... Quote

I'm not very skilled with building so trying to build the rest of the AT-AT was very frustrating, so I lost motivation. If anyone wants the file with the leg, give me your email and I'll send it to you. Edited April 2 by erik1 Quote
erik1 Posted May 1 Author Posted May 1 (edited) I've decided to try to continue to work on my AT-AT! I re-designed the leg to be narrower to be more accurate, and improved the detailing. I'm really happy with how they look, though I worry about how much weight the internal technical pieces can carry. They still use technic turntables with worm gears in the joints. DarthTrocious Posted May 4 Posted May 4 Looking forward to it. I think the biggest flaw of 75313 and most minifig scale MOCs is that the legs are too thick. Quote
