Auroralampinen Posted February 25 Author Posted February 25 And in case you are wondering yes the countach has been builded for playing because i have always made playable models and countach is no different and that's why countach has no lose connections everything has builded to withstand playing and i know peoples will build this and leave in shelf for collecting and not touch again but if you enjoy playing with models countach is got you covered and that was one reason to upgrade the front suspension since the hog is on the front and the original moc countach suspension was saggy when you steered the model with hog so now the new suspension can handle this without sagging:) Quote
Auroralampinen Posted February 26 Author Posted February 26 More progress on the 3d model soon i will tackle with interior and in case you have questions about the tires yes the countach uses wheels and tires from g500 and the reason is the tire pattern fits perfectly with the countach the tires from land rover are little bit boring and dull so the countach has been developed for g500 tires they are perfect match while they are off road tires And yes the g500 wheels are couple millimetres bigger than the wheels from land rover so there is no easy tire swap:) Quote
Auroralampinen Posted February 28 Author Posted February 28 Well now the countach 3d models front and interior is almost done it took 3 days to get this point:) Quote

Auroralampinen Posted March 20 Author Posted March 20 Well im really happy with the chassis now it's structurally sound and im really happy with my designed front wheel hubs:) Quote
Auroralampinen Posted March 20 Author Posted March 20 Little bit of seat testing i might reuse the countach seats in here:) Quote
Auroralampinen Posted March 21 Author Posted March 21 Well a lot more work later now the engine is finished and now there is a detailed turbocharged v8 Quote
Auroralampinen Posted March 21 Author Posted March 21 Testing some mudguard concepts these seem pretty good and they work perfectly even when the suspension is lowered:) Quote
Auroralampinen Posted March 21 Author Posted March 21 Well if my older mocs were criticised for being too simple now with this i will again put my design skills to the limits as on the countach im really happy with the front sculpting and with the engine room with realistic wheelwells:) Quote
Auroralampinen Posted March 22 Author Posted March 22 Well i spended this day studying how to use studio v2 and it is going smoothly so my next generation of instructions are hopefully much better than the og instructions and again next gen is free as usual:) Quote

I've been making my first set of instructions in Stud.io recently, and I'm really impressed with the instruction maker tool! Still learning, though Quote
Auroralampinen Posted March 23 Author Posted March 23 And my Yesterdays biggest achievement was that now i know how to import new pieces from lddraw because my dump truck uses newer pneumatic switch and that has not been installed to studio v2 so i had to download and instal that piece to studio v2 and now im really proud of my self:) Quote
Auroralampinen Posted March 23 Author Posted March 23 Well i had to rise the interior about 2 studs now it look better:) Quote
Auroralampinen Posted March 24 Author Posted March 24 Well now this looks soo cool and good im really happy now:) Quote
Auroralampinen Posted March 24 Author Posted March 24 Well while this model has a adjustable suspension it its actually pretty useless but for long time display purposes its great because the model sits lower and not stressing the springs but this was my first ever moc with the adjustable suspension and its still cool that it actually works pretty good while being a little useless:) Quote
Auroralampinen Posted March 24 Author Posted March 24 Well i noticed after i tooked those photos this looks like brabus g wagen and now i cannot get that off my head;) Quote
2GodBDGlory Posted March 24 Posted March 24 What's the goal with this project? Some kind of off-road tow truck? It looks like you're learning fast and having lots of fun with Technic, and I'm glad to see it! Quote
