So the Christmas set doesn't fly anymore ... Apparently it's actually a Christmas AT-AT.

That’s interesting. It’ll obviously be downsized but I think it could be fun.

Apparently the ISD chasing the Tanitive IV scene will be included inside the logo set somehow? Which I assume explains what the lever is for that was mentioned in some of the leaks. Looking forward to seeing more pictures of the set.

I don't see the appeal to the Logo set. If Lego had started a brick-built logo line with classic favorites like Johnny Thunder, Rock Raiders and others and made the Star Wars one based on the original box-art logo I think people would be all over it. But just the words "Star Wars" in the SW font is definitely going to be a shelf warmer.

A Star Wars Light up Logo the size of this set is cheaper, imagine that, if it included never seen before figures then maybe it would be a buy but, this is going to sit on shelves for a few years and go on clearance

It can fly, from a certain point of view

Agreed. I love it!

I believe this will be a bestseller. (I need this to.)

It’s a rumour which numerous brick tap sources are saying. But the figures are still galactic marines. But ultimately we’re not sure right now.

If it isn’t, my guess is that part of the build is a tri-droid with a very large domed headpiece (would explain the price)

What we do know is that Commander Bacara is actually in the set and has a new helmet mould. (Kenobi purge troopers incoming?)

Gotta give props to Lego on this, I would have expected them to reuse the P2 helmet lol, and as for your wish on Purge Troopers, I prefer the Airborne helmet style in the games rather than the Kenobi ones

And we do have an Airborne helmet mould but that was last seen in 2020, wonder if the mould is still available, I'd say it could be, same mould from 2014, they wouldn't throw that away

Do we know if the new mold for Bacara will be dual molded?

Edit: I'm thinking of the galactic marines who are with Bacara. Are they getting new molds?

I have a feeling they will use the Snowtrooper helmet, it shouldn't be hard to print red on it right ?

Considering the 2021 chibi tie fighter had over 400 pieces and the Death Star GWP tie fighter is 236 pieces, I think it’s going to be midi scale and will possibly even pair with the Death Star itself, in a hangar interior for example.

I bet the Christmas AT-AT will be made to look like Santa's sleigh somehow.

Christmas AT-AT sounds fun, just not as fun as a Gingerbread TIE. I’d love a Santa Vader minifig like somebody else had mentioned.

Wait, so the GwP is a TIE Fighter? A TIE FIGHTER? :laugh_hard: Not the trench run? Not an additional scene relating to but not on the Death Star? Not even a lightsaber? The designers heard our pleas for something minifig-scale from the OT, and they decide to make the most cookie cutter, still on store shelves, vehicle? We truly live in a society.

The Kenobi sets' box art featured an accurate ANH Vader minifigure, complete with red lens and cloth over his shoulder armour. Didn't happen, to my great disappointment (Tantive IV set had a wasted potential for including this minifigure)

Yeah I wish they'd make Vader accurate to whatever movie the set is based on.

The current version, similar to the Clones being an amalgamation of animated and realistic designs, is a mixture of his various costumes and is actually not accurate to a single one of them across all 4 of the movies he appears in (idk if there's a comic or whatever which coincidentally had the same inaccuracies).

Well, I could see people buying it to put it as heading for their collection. Anyways, kinda cool but also a strange choice to include a scene from to movie in it, since normally noone will see it anyways.

Well, that's a way to get a small bread and butter Original Trilogy set out this year - paywalling a TIE Fighter as a GWP with the $1000 Death Star. Just like paywalling a small bread and butter Star Trek shuttlecraft as a GWP with a $400 Enterprise.

Can't wait for all the people going "Oh wow look the OT is getting a tie fighter this year anyway people were complaining for nothing" like it's not locked behind a set the equivalent cost of a down payment on a used car.

Three minifigures again. My guess is it'll somehow be three clone troopers.

Realistically I'm not sure what it'll be- it wouldn't make a ton of sense to repeat named characters, but they'd assumably want something unique. Maybe a TIE pilot and two Spacetroopers, though I wouldn't be happy if Spacetroopers were gated behind buying a $1000 set close to release.

Unpin the comment. :sadnew:

It's a stranger choice but I prefer it- the AT-AT has to be downsized, so the odds of getting a real one soon are good, especially given it's role in the Mando Movie.

A neat way for them to have figures, and reference the original logo like @MKJoshA mentioned, would be if it came with figures based on the boxart. Yellow-skinned versions of Luke, Han, Leia, Vader, Boba, and a Stormtrooper. They wouldn't necessarily be remakes of the classic versions given how loose lego was with the drawing for the logo, too- Boba could have had arm printing and Vader'd have the cloth over the neck armor.

TandNbricks literally always has some bs reason to try to justify his info being wrong whenever he has to backtrack, it’s actually kind of hilarious

This is the "Death star was what I meant by endor" guy right? If so I'll give him that he's right often enough I'll buy that he's just extrapolating on insufficient data rather than wholly making stuff up and getting lucky.

It was used in 2022 for the 187th commander, so it's definitely still around. But yeah, with one like that, I doubt they'd get rid of it after 5 years like they normally do.

I forgot about the 187th commander, and I have 2 of those, how could I forget

I feel like that set is very forgetful

Seeing them all together there are a good number of playsets. I'm a little concerned that we only know so far that two are for the mando movie and they're $70-100- it could easily hold a full wave, and I was really hoping for a small AT-RT set with the two protagonists, but overall this is 6 playsets, which sounds good but if I'm remembering release dates right, we had 6 playsets this 2025 1HY (Interceptor, ARC, Night Trooper BP, U-wing, Maulmech, microfighter.

It's not unlikely this is only january/march, which I'd be happy to learn, but I'd caution anyone thinking 1HYs are back so far- if this is it for the HY, there's a good chance it's not any better than this year. Worse, in fact, given that there's only 3 adult gimmick sets but it didn't lead to a playset increase.

I'm honestly fine if that's all we got from the film. We've been getting so much Mandalorian merchandise for years now that I can't imagine the movie will be bringing much new to the table. If all the film has to offer is another Mando N1, Razor Crest, AT-AT and an oversized AT-RT I'm happy to pass on the new sets entirely.

Wonder how many of those could be battlepacks/microfighters?

And that's a big thing people are forgetting- if that's all of 1HY, assuming a mech, a battle pack, and a microfighter, it's the same amount of standard system playsets as 2025's 1HY

Part of my want for a wave is that I always liked the Force Fridays, even if I'd only get one or two sets each one, and I would have loved a Mando Monday event with a big wave of sets. But I also think the movie does have a lot to offer-

1. Most of the remakes do have something new to offer

-This one's personal bias since I've just had the idea in my head for awhile but I really do think an accurately sized AT-RT with mando and grogu for $13 would sell crazy well.

-This one's also moreso personal bias on my part, but I thought the N-1 we got was significantly oversized and not great. A smaller one as part of a two-pack with a new imperial fighter such as a TIE outland could be a lot of fun

-It's been 6 years since our last AT-AT and Crest, and they could both use updates IMO, bolstered by having different figure selections- the crest could include a VERY desirable fig who currently goes for almost $100 undamaged on the secondhand market.

2. We don't know much about the plot, but we do know about a scene that could make a great location playset with a fun and unique buildable character.

On Reddit they are saying Q1 so that could be January-March. All the leaks for 2026 sets from all themes are saying they are for Q1 or January.

im thinking we’ve got a pretty big January and March wave and May is being reserved purely for Mando movie. My fingers are crossed that those two 7+ sets that are 70 and 100 are Andor.

Things like this could fill exactly the same purpose as the mechs while actually being something "real".
