Facts. The action figure industry is getting hit with this pretty hard too, fortunately I only collect one line now. Anything else I want is already on ebay.

Canada had ones on the US before this year. Many of the countries the US is tariffing are ones that had tariffs on the US. As someone else here pointed out, China and Australia are currently in a tariff-laden trade war.

Why on earth would I be talking about you? I have specifically thought of you as a very normal and reasonable person on this forum. I don’t care what you or anyone thinks of the tariffs, they are the absolute least of my concerns. I never insinuated you were a fascist, just that the posts MKJoshA was responding to mentioned MAGA, and trying to spare the feelings of people who support that movement, who are supporting a fascist who is carrying out a genocide on trans people like me as well as the people of Gaza, and violating the human rights of countless others.

Yo, let’s ________ GOOOOO! Big fan of Maul, and I do not mind seeing even one more show between Ep. III and IV if it involves this saber-wielding maniac. I’d love if they explored some of the action prior to S7, whether by a prologue or through flashbacks.

Darth Talon is, in Morbius’s words, intriguing. Obviously Disney will want her outfit toned down, so I can see a minifig of her being made. I don’t get the hype around her other than she is a girl Sith. Still, Talon can be slotted into any time period, and her and Maul as a duo was bound to happen.

Overall, I have high expectations. Let’s hope they don’t get sidetracked with monster of the week adventures and tell a strong, concise story. While multiple seasons would give us LEGO fans the greater potential for multiple sets, if the show isn’t good, it’s unlikely to be successful enough to warrant at least one set.

Another question is how is Lego going to do the interior? Previous play-scale AT ATs have never had interiors as large and detailed as what’s evidently required for this. That’s largely due to the fact Luke never entered the AT AT, and therefore Lego had the opportunity to be minimalistic. Mando on the other hand needs crates and weapon racks as well as seating.

Definitely will be included. As much as we’d love to see small, affordable playsets, it makes more sense for TLG to include Mando with his AT-RT than an AT-RT sold separately. That is, unless they employ the same strategy as they did in 2015, including Rey in both the most expensive and cheapest sets. For now, though, I lean toward the AT-RT being included.

2020 AT-AT had space for troopers inside, a winch for Luke’s grappling hook in the behind the “neck,” and for a speeder bike in the trunk. If only the troop carrying is required, that leaves space for weapons and crates, albeit probably only for kids to pull out and with which to play.

RIP Manny Bothans. He was a great lost. (And people complain TLJ skimps over Ackbar’s death when Manny was ten times the figurative man Ackbar was.)

Jaxxon! Hopefully we’ll get him sometime soon. It hasn’t been five years since the Looney Tunes CMF, so hopefully the Bugs head mold is primed and ready. 

Also, there’s a TK Trooper in the trailer for the Maul show! Time to increase my hope for getting a minifigure a totally appropriate amount.

Zero company looks great, it's a real shame they aren't doing playsets for video games, they could've done one of the ship with the 2 droids, and the default Hawks, Trick, Tel, Cly and Luco.

Yeah I get that they'd never do a set like the 2005 turbo tank today, I'm just nostalgic for older LSW. And for the record I do own the 2010 tank which I think is the best one (not trying to flex). A Turbo tank with the size of 8098 and the detail of 75151 would be incredible in my opinion, But I understand a $200 playset is certainly tough to swallow.

I've got a dozen beskar Dins but only recently got the face print and updated helmet design in the N1 microfighter. Still no Darksaber, but you can get that on PaB for 70p and even cheaper on Bricklink so I'm not exactly in a hurry. Between this and the Mando Fleet Commander being in one last year I'm wondering if the Interceptor vs Fang Fighter didn't sell too well and they've got excess figures. Wonder if the astromech will be in one later. 

Figures are always the best "gifts" in those magazines though it's better when they're truly hard to get. E.g. Bespin Luke still remains the best one they ever did, and while I wasn't a fan of the design the 212th trooper was great for army builders.

Why would we include the actual star wars characters in these sets when we could include two OCs and what at best is a light side cad bane?

That said if Sig gives us the orange lightsaber blade again all is forgiven for his figure, it could literally be a yellow smiley in the red shirt and blue pants and I wouldn't care.

The Maul show set will be a $170 version Ventress's ship (A new one from her TBB one).

Joking, of course. Maul's very popular, I think there's a good chance lego actually makes a number of sets for his show.

You might just be right about that 2010 one, at least in terms of detail/size ratio. 

I think a neat way to solve this would just be making a $400 UCS Turbo Tank. Biggest and most detailed. That said, we probably have a ways to go for that, I'd assume the AT-TE would come first.

What I find funny about the trailer is the narrator says that they fight a war in the shadows but the main cast immediately proceeds to take on the separatists in full on open warfare Bad Batch style.

But, a diverse group of operatives heralding from different species and with a Jedi on the team? Delta Squad could never.

Really intrigued by this game. Hopefully we can at least get character packs or droid tanks with the main cast if Lego doesn’t want to make their ship.

 

 

Ahsoka Season 2 concept art has me pleasantly surprised. I didn’t think Thrawn was going to get screen time as Ahsoka, the main protagonist, is no longer in proximity plot-wise to him. We had better get Gilad and Karyn up on the Chimera’s bridge this season. And hopefully Thrawn calls the Ascendancy for aid (I’d pay good money to see Ronan’s reaction to the Death Star blowing up twice)

Oh. The realisation just hit me that the double death troopers were probably Pik and Waffle. RIP.

It makes me optimistic that 2026 will be an Imperial renaissance (just hopefully with a decent number of generic forces alongside the Night Sister assassins.) But I’m still fearful that Andor Season 2 sets won’t be part of it.

Also Zeb and some NR soldiers appear to be fighting on Dathomir. If only there was some force sensitive ally who has endured the hardships of the planet first hand, with a thorough database of the fauna and a Night Sister waifu to help them. Otherwise they’re cooked.

As for Admiral Ackbar: he’s also cooked, just not fatally.

@Swordy: good point about the 2020 AT AT. I forgot that the speeder could fit into the back. You’re probably right that if they get rid of that function it should be fine. (though they might make the entire platform a bit wider.)

I could be wrong but I got the impression from the panel that they'll also be going up against sǝɔɹoɟ ɔᴉlqndǝɹ at some point. 

We've got so much slated for 2026 now, I really hope Lego focuses on new content ( and minifig scaled playsets).

Oh shoot, somehow my over-eagerness level returned and i totally missed your reply. But as i will never be tired of saying... better late than never. 

Regarding your question, while Cad Bane is definitely among my favorite characters and i am looking forward to the reveal for sure, other than Jedi Bob's Starfighter, i wasn't too eager about all other RTG sets. So it's more of a wait and see approach for me. Even though it would not be the first Snowspeeder i primarily got for an exclusive minifig... the 20th anniversary one says hi. 

However, seeing you already brought up this topic, i wanna elaborate by saying: i stopped holding out hope that the most recent Cad Bane from the unjustifiable Justifier set would be cheaply released elsewhere in an Advent Calendar, a Magazine, Microfighter, as a Keychain etc. So i jumped the gun and brick linked this thing of beauty last month. It's my first Cad Bane minifigure and i am very happy with it. 

How about you... Got any minifigure that is near and dear to you? Anything in particular you still want to add to your collection?

Agent Kallus, Agent Kallus ( it's Kallus all the way down).

I have a Kallus figure but actually it's just the head and Helmet on the wrong torso as I got them off pick a brick, so I still need the torso. ( I do have spare heads though).

But I'd like them to do other versions. I do think they went with the wrong colours ( and I'd like the hair version from that 75106 but the after market on him is stupid), I'd also like them to make his season 2/3 rank plaque, beat up smug face and his rebel captain outfit.

I honestly had to google this character just to confirm my suspicion being right... yep, it's a Rebels character. Never actually watched the show. Might change that sooner or later. 

Speaking of unavailable versions... Well, see my profile picture. Back when i watched the season finale of TBoBF, i had zero doubts in my mind that Lego would incorporate the climax battle into a seizable play set later on. With the return of a recolorred Rancor, those giant Droideka looking thingies, a bit of scenery and all that jazz. But it unfortunately never happened. 

I know it's gotta be challenging to keep your merchandise machine up and running with all these different Star Wars media we get on a regular basis nowadays, but the two sets they did make were not even truly based on the show the begin with.

Out of all the different Disney Star Wars series, only the Mandalorian gets proper ongoing support. Nearly everything else gets like two to three sets tops (or how about nothing at all) and move on. This swift and short dealing with things is kinda reflective of the "content over cinema"-climate we get to experience in this day and age, i guess.
