Admiral Blockbeard Posted August 4, 2008 Posted August 4, 2008 Wow day one took a long time... here are Byron's findings... Day One… Dead Loyalists Lord Martin – VOTES mike, last minute points at fishy Mike (a servant) – VOTES Martin Ernest the Chef – Says it was the wine not the food, VOTES Martin Grim (head of the royal guard) –Maid Chef and Celler keeper, Poison (does not vote) General Spencer VOTES Martin (after condemned) Daniel (a young squire) – Not Active Damien (a doctor and herbalist) – Talks in riddles (Does not Vote) Dead Traitors (or friends of traitors) Calvin (a local fisherman) – Cook and Doctor, Lord Savril VOTE, Doctor VOTES, Mike VOTES Doctor…votes too much!... VOTES Martin General Marcus – Not someone whom directly gave it to the king (specifies maid, then generalizes), Poison, Lord Savril and Spencer VOTES Martin (after condemned) VOTES Lord Savril as joke Lord Ash – Points to Servant, Maid or Chef, Poison, Maid again, Votes Martin Lady Suzanne – wants to refocus on the maid, VOTES Mike (it looks like she thinks he is the maid) stays with mike after learning she had wrong identity. Guards Fred (a soldier in the royal guard) – VOTES Martin Michael (a soldier in the royal guard) VOTES Martin (after condemned) Lieutenant Byron (of the royal guard) – Not active Towns folk Kyle (the castle torturer/executioner) – VOTES, doctor, VOTES Martin Friar Brown - VOTES Martin under direction from Rotrigious Mary (a maid) – Generals or Lords and doctor, Poison VOTES Martin (after condemned) Paul (the cellar keeper) – doctor, poison now a Lord, VOTES Martin Royal Connection Lord Savril – VOTES, Doctor VOTES, Martin Rotrigous (kings advisor) – Chef, Servant, cook, the doctor (as well as Dragonator, Chicken farmers and pygmies) VOTES doctor VOTES Martin Lord Gary – VOTES doctor, VOTES Martin (after condemned) Interesting facts of the day… Mary requests to know who is who, she is confused Marcus defends Mary Hinckley was more like a broken record than a castle member Paul defends his wine Fred announces he saw someone in the kings Quarters, this would suggest night actions… Kyle suggests it’s not poison but blood, Fred later supports this… Rotrigous says he thinks Mary had little to do with the food but dusty curtains, Grim appears to agree Majiko stutters Women and their bloody herbs Marcus wants us to all reveal who we are… Grim suggests Lord Savril knows more than he is letting on Mary suggests this is key to finding the killer. Calvin and Rotrigious vote then unvote each other in fun Paul says he hears snippets of what the guards say… so Paul does have a kind of night action, he hears what those on duty are saying. Mike and Michael want to hear from the doctor before killing him Ash, sets up Mike for day two, after voting for Martin Friar seeks Lady Suzanne for questioning while a smitten Ritz defends Mary, calls her an idiot… ouch Marcus donates Gold Coins Most voted for the Doctor as he was not playing then changed once he had confirmed. The condemned person was Lord Martin a Loyalist Make of this what you will, I know I have, Paul and Adam need to do some explaining... Fred and Kyle seam to have (even though different users back then) mirror each other and make similar choices. Daniel and Byron are no where to be seen... Mary seems to be hunted by some traitors, yet protected by others, while her confusion on who is who leads me to believe she is a Loyalist as a Traitor would have a greater understanding, knowing whom other traitors are. Michael seems to stay below the radar and the friar shows early hints to towards him not being loyal only to the king, but also the "church" note this does not mean he is loyalist/traitor... Rotrigous and Savy have begun their fun run around, entertaining with tom foolery, and Gary is concerned over the rash killing of a Lord... Suspects of the day Byron - not posting, Why were you not posting??? (I was not joined yet, I think the user had not logged on during the day...) Fred - Night Actions???, Working with kyle??? Kyle - Working with Fred??? Paul - Do you indeed always hear things from Guards on duty, if so why have we only ever heard of this during Marcus???
Shadows Posted August 4, 2008 Posted August 4, 2008 Did our signals just get crossed with some kind of soap opera? What's a soap opera? Don't ask. Trying to make some sense out of your day 1 summary, I only come away with two things. 1. The game was more fun in the beginning... 2. Everyone was convinced that Martin was a traitor, but the real traitors seemed to want to point at the maid. Maybe they were trying to set up a future easy kill? One more thing. Even when we've been wrong, I think we tried. Lord Martin was suspicious, the Doctor was weird, General Spencer killed a loyalist in the night, Calvin was nearly a traitor and being used by one. Most of the rest were Draggy or General Marcus's doing, I think. We've actually done a pretty good job, all things considered.
Dragonator Posted August 4, 2008 Author Posted August 4, 2008 1. The game was more fun in the beginning... Hey! That's not nice! He's got a point. Well, um, we're trying to get it fixed. Yes, yes indeed. So what have you got planned then? Um, ah, well, we've got a celebrity guest appearance planned for tomorrow, he'll be doing some of the commentary! You haven't been listening to Majiko have you? Um why? Oh please, don't tell me you got... him? Um, no, of course not, what would make you say that? You did, didn't you? You actually hired Sta- Now now, no need to over react, he's promised to get our ratings rocketing out through the roof! Ain't that great or what? Yeah, and half the audience along with them. Talking of the audience, why don't we invite someone on? Oh, oh pick me! Uh, OK then, um, come up here chap. Pinky flutters into view. Oh, I don't believe it I'm on TV!! Don't tell the contestants that, their already confused enough. I would just like to say hi to my dear mother, my five sisters, and to bluvero (haha, I'm on TV and your not!). Oh, also to Boney, an old friend, and to all my good mates over in the EBRP, who include- Yes, well enough of that, thanks for your time. Now, back to the show, quickly. But I haven't received any prizes or anything yet- The screen goes blank for a few seconds and then reverts to looking out over the Grand Hall, where we can see Majiko quietly trying to get a bar of soap to sing a high C...
Dovchenko Posted August 4, 2008 Posted August 4, 2008 "You did, didn't you? You actually hired Sta-"(Damien's body shifts, hand begins to claw at the ground in anger like some kind of undead freak, begins growling as if some previously unknown face-off had happened between him and this mystery "Sta-", and begins shaking.) The screen goes blank for a few seconds and then reverts to looking out over the Grand Hall, where we can see Majiko quietly trying to get a bar of soap to sing a high C... (Damien gives out a sigh and finally dies... he's had enough of Majiko and friends.)

If so, it is NOT present now- I have had now PMs or conversations with Kyle than what you see here.) HEEE HAAWW!!! HEE- sorry . Accident. Byron, just know, I have made no interactions with Ky- *Stuadie walks into room* IEEEEE!!!!! *Fred starts to shake violently* NOOOOOOO!!!! *Fred runs out of room, his blood pressure on a dangerous level* Why does everyone do that when I walk in? They must love me!
Hinckley Posted August 4, 2008 Posted August 4, 2008 1. The game was more fun in the beginning... That's not very nice. This game...of life...has just gotten interesting. We dispensed with the pathetic traitors with night actions rather quickly. Now there are only one or two left and we have no idea who is who. So the real game...of life...has just begun! This is the best part, Roto-Rooter.

But actually, all I mean is that at first, there seemed to be more fun posts, silliness and general insanity. It isn't a reflection on the game as much as on the lack of time that some of us have had to invest recently, myself included. Now spin the little wheel and see where your car moves to in this game ... of life.

Seems like the few leads we have are vague at best.
Hinckley Posted August 4, 2008 Posted August 4, 2008 And that was so important that you felt you had to post it twice? As for finding the final traitors I'm open for suggestions. Seems like the few leads we have are vague at best. We had a power outage due to violent thunderstorms. I mean, yes it's more important than anything ever said ever!!
Quarryman Posted August 4, 2008 Posted August 4, 2008 We had a power outage due to violent thunderstorms. I mean, yes it's more important than anything ever said ever!! Hah, a "power outage"? Sounds like some silly thing you just made up to cover the fact that you are a schizophrenic maniac that can't remember you have already made your point.
Shadows Posted August 4, 2008 Posted August 4, 2008 Hah, a "power outage"? Sounds like some silly thing you just made up to cover the fact that you are a schizophrenic maniac that can't remember you have already made your point. He had a point? (OOC: Storms are really no laughing matter. It's been a weird year here too. It stayed nice longer than usual, then switched to furnace heat which is only stopped by heavy rain with some fairly violent electrical storms. That means random and pointless power outages, surges, and flickers. It's why I haven't been around much... My machine wasn't so much blasted by a single hit as just worn down by lots of fluctuations. It's like someone turned the weather knob to 11 and I'd be happy if it stopped soon)

You know, this game... of life... has been turned upside down. We're clueless. We literally have NO CLUES. Stuadie AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
commanderbly42 Posted August 4, 2008 Posted August 4, 2008 Right, I've been doing some looking around Day 6 - the day will found General Marcus to be a traitor: * Lord Savril was more or less the man who spearheaded voting against General Marcus. *Lord Gary, according to Savril, was the intended target the next night, possibly meaning that Gary is a loyalist. *Rotrigous tells us that it was actually a quiet night, leading to doubts about Savril's story. *Mary was quick to agree with Savril and vote for Marcus and seemed to mirror everything that Savril and Rotrigous said during the day. *Paul (me) also agreed with Savril's judgement and voted for Marcus. *Gary then told us he well and didn't hear anything. He also didn't vote for Marcus, suspicious if he was an alleged intended target. *Kyle admits to torturing Marcus. Yet if Savril fought with him, than surely there is something amiss there. Savril could have delivered him to Kyle though, once Marcus had been knocked out so there aren't any leads there. *Damien gives the condemning vote to Marcus. *The Friar also votes for Marcus but only after he is condemned. He also states that he believed Marcus to be innocent. *The only person not to vote for Marcus was, surprise, Lady Suzanne. I don't think that I've found much to go by yet but I plan on searching the logs for anything suspicious.
Trexxen Posted August 4, 2008 Posted August 4, 2008 Yesterday, when I went through my night actions again, I recalled that I had found Marcus unconscious. Savril probably hit him and then I found him. =P ~Kyle
Hinckley Posted August 4, 2008 Posted August 4, 2008 Savril probably hit him and then I found him. =P Then what?
Quarryman Posted August 4, 2008 Posted August 4, 2008 Yesterday, when I went through my night actions again, I recalled that I had found Marcus unconscious.Savril probably hit him and then I found him. =P Which night was this?
Hinckley Posted August 4, 2008 Posted August 4, 2008 Which night was this? I stopped Marcus from killing Gary on night 5...I think.
commanderbly42 Posted August 4, 2008 Posted August 4, 2008 Right, I've been doing some looking around Day 6 - the day will found General Marcus to be a traitor:*Gary then told us he well and didn't hear anything. He also didn't vote for Marcus, suspicious if he was an alleged intended target. It should say, Gary then told us he slept well. Also: Also, Gary scolded me for voting for Marcus. Why did you not vote for your attempted killer Gary? Reason for editing: The colour tags weren't working for some reason. Edit by Hinckley: It's because you cut the color tag off in your quote and the BBCode was looking to close it...
Shadows Posted August 4, 2008 Posted August 4, 2008 Also, Gary scolded me for voting for Marcus. Why did you not vote for your attempted killer Gary? Those are good points. I know that when I thought Calvin had tried to kill me, I wanted him dead, naturally. I wonder if Gary was the intended victim at all... what if it was Lord Savril and it just went wrong? That might explain why Gary didn't particularly care. Unvote: whoever the hell I voted for at the beginning. Oh, right, Kyle. Still don't think his story with the whole torture thing adds up either. I'm going to wait and see how this plays out.
Quarryman Posted August 4, 2008 Posted August 4, 2008 I'm going to wait and see how this plays out. Only one problem with that, if we all do it some dice (or just one die perhaps, I'm not sure what sort of equipment Lord Dragonator has) will be rolling and deciding someone's fate. "Alea Jacta Est" sounds great in theory, but I'm not too happy about having a 1/10 chance of ending up dead
I Scream Clone Posted August 4, 2008 Posted August 4, 2008 Wow theres a reach for a plot twist, I had no pigeon kicked my way that night so i assumed i slept well! If memory serves, the day was over before i even had the chance to vote (Aussie time zone and all), hold on just checking now.......please hold your call is important to us and our next available operator will be with you shortly.....hmmm that was odd..... And besides, how am i supposed to know that someone was trying to kill me if i slept well all night. (I will get back to you as im busy at work at moment)
Hinckley Posted August 4, 2008 Posted August 4, 2008 Majiko stutters Women and their bloody herbs What did that mean?
commanderbly42 Posted August 4, 2008 Posted August 4, 2008 What did that mean? Lady Suzanne I presume. If I have time tomorrow, I'm going to look at Day 3 or 4 (whichever one we killed Lord Ash on). Seeing how we were led to kill traitors is interesting and there may be clues.
Zepher Posted August 4, 2008 Posted August 4, 2008 Mary: What about who lead to the death of Suzanne? Wouldn't that be interesting aswell? I think that again we must act. Draganator said it correctly in his day description: "A need for action...". If we don't convict someone, Dragonator will. At least this way we'll have some control ofver the action, if Dragonator does it it will be chance, and there more loyalists than traitors, it's more likely that he kills a loyalist. Let's just go with what we can and take the best guess we've got!
