Ive just had a thought, Would it be a clever ploy between two traitors (one being the Friar) to have the friar maimed in an apparent attack on his life. This then makes him look like a loyalist. Lets face it if you night action was to kill someone you would have just killed them (unless you got bonked in the night that is)

Thats it! I Vote Friar Brown/The Brickster

Well, I guess that's possible, but there might be an extra twist to it. Night actions work unless someone counters them. I think Lord Savril has claimed to have stopped Marcus on that occasion (though how he suspected Marcus was a night killer days before anyone else is beyond me). So, for your theory to work, Friar Brown AND Lord Savril would both have to be traitors and know that they could pull that stunt, which seems pretty risky to me.

I'm not sold, but I do think we need to get someone lined up here, before we trust this to random fate.

Hmm, intriguing idea.

(OOC: but is such a thing possible? I mean, could Batbrick send as his night action "I want to try to kill Friar Brown, but I want to fail the attempt." (or something along those lines)? Seems like a bit too complex to me)

Uh. I never tried asking to fail at a night action before. We can ask, but I have a funny feeling we won't get an answer on this...

Looks like you were right. Though he didn't say during Day 3 that he blocked anyone (but he voted for Batbrick/Marcus saying he was shady)

Man this is getting hard. These traitors are hiding well.

I guess there could just be someone with poor aim.

Im holding my vote at this stage, but im looking into other avenues (see earlier post above)

Haha, you want me to answer a question? I'm sick of answering questions. Figure it out for yourselves, I've got an Eiffel Tower to build...

That wasn't very host-like.

Well, Staudie's getting on my nerves, and I do want to start building that set...

I'm glad your finally seeing some sense.

About the set?

No, about Staudie.

Oh right. Well, I'm sure everything will be fine tomorrow when we get him up in his little box with me. I'll even get a painting done for you all.

Great, I just can't wait. :hmpf:

I shall be forced to EXCOMMUNICATE you from the Church and the KINGDOM. Your soul shall rot in the fiery plains of darkness, for this blasphemy...

This man is a TRAITOR! And wants me dead. I call upon all the loyalists in this room to vote against him, in the name of the Church and of the Kingdom.

(OOC: but is such a thing possible? I mean, could Batbrick send as his night action "I want to try to kill Friar Brown, but I want to fail the attempt." (or something along those lines)? Seems like a bit too complex to me)

Yes, good deductive reasoning my son. You shall be granted a special place in the Church. You shall rise from the ranks of Alter Boy to Alter Man!

Yes, such a ploy is definately absurd. The acts of a traitor were thwarted in the night by the grace of Heaven. I have lived to share His word, and continue to protect the Kingdom. Those that vote against me are against the King and the Loyalists.

Definately an unsettling turn of events. I thought proof of my loyalty was provided earlier in the week, yet a shadow is being cast upon me now. Look at that shadow closely, and trust in the one that does not sneak about in the night. I ask you to trust in me and the good of the Loyalists. (begins to have another vision)

It does seem a little ellaborate, but we need a lead, and this is an interesting one... plus, if we get it right, we'll know that both "Friar Brown AND Lord Savril" are traitors, and if we get it wrong, we comfirm that Savril is a loyalist. Either way, we gain, and if we don't do anything, we lose a member anyway. At least this way we control who we lose. I'll with hold my vote until the Frair speaks up, but if he has no good defense, I say we get it over with.

You should judge a man by his actions, not by the false accusations of others. My innocence was proven once before; and if I'm not mistaken, once after that. If you would like to question me about anything, you may trust me to speak the truth. I will answer any questions.

You are judging me on the failed attempt on my life - by a traitor. What could be my defense against this?

Nervously pulls out "1,001 Defenses from the Best Medieval Defense Esquires". Let me see... I think I have one (NO) Not that one... Let me try this... NO... Oh $HIT!...

EDIT:

(still thumbing through book)... OK, I think I have this one (NO)... Well, how about this ONE, NO! Damn! - these really bite! Got one... No, let me try this one... This one is better. wait...

(Pulls out a noose from under his robe)... OK, I give up... Here you go, if you must!

Mary: Well put my dear Friar. I'm sorrry for accusing you, or believeing what he said. I think we're all starting to get a bit nervous, the traitors seem to get closer and closer to victory.

I can confirm what I did that night if someone tells me what night it happened.

This is so confusing. What characters is I Scream Clone playing?

So, you just want to kill the Friar to see what happens? Not a good idea. Let's look at the facts:

1-There was an attempt made on the Friar's LIFE. In this game... of life... there has only been one such instance. And that is it. You suggest that his limp makes him treachorous?!

2-He's a member of a secret cult. Kind of suspicous, but he seems to know little about it.

3-He doesn't wear pants under that robe

4-Ummmmmm... He's a PRIEST!!

And there you have it- Friar=loyalist. If Paul and Kyle are traitors, than Friar=traitor. But not now.

Triple vote: Staudie

Hey! I got invited here, so shut your cake hole!

In local news,The Firar seems to be the next victim in a long line of pointless killings, and now let's go live to ImperialShadows with the Shadows Weather report. Shadows?

IT'S RAININ' SIDEWAYS.

Sounds rough Shadows, Do you have an umbrella?

Had one!

Where is it?

Inside out two miles away!

Is there anything we can do for you?

Bring me some soup!

What kind?

Chunky!

All right, we'll get right on that.

There are ways of telling whether she is a witch.

Are there? Oh well, tell us.

Tell me. What do you do with witches?

Burn them.

And what do you burn, apart from witches?

More witches

Wood.

Good. Now, why do witches burn?

...because they're made of... wood?

Good. So how do you tell whether she is made of wood?

Build a bridge out of her.

But can you not also build bridges out of stone?

Oh yeah.

Does wood sink in water?

No, no, it floats!... It floats! Throw her into the pond!

No, no. What else floats in water?

Bread.

Apples.

Very small rocks.

Cider.

Gravy.

Cherries.

Mud.

Churches.

Lead! Lead!

A Duck.

...Exactly. So, logically...

If she weighed the same as a duck... she's made of wood.

And therefore...

...A witch!

And now on to scene 24. A smashing scene with some lovely acting...

ENOUGH!

*Staudie jumps several feet in the air*

Shadows?

Shhh... I'm Rotrigous, it's acting you know.

I'd have known that bellow anywhere.

Uh huh. Shut up.

But I'm the...

*gives Staudie 'the look'*

Right. Sorry.

Now, we don't have a lot of time left before one of us dies. Given our previous record with Draggy, he'll kill a loyalist, he always does. We can't afford to lose one, and at the very least, we should decide just who goes ourselves.

Revisiting past days and former suspicions, I think that Kyle is either a traitor or a mercenary. If he's either, we don't lose anything by killing him. If he's a loyalist, we don't lose any more than we would if we didn't vote at all.

I'm going to bed shortly and this day could end before I get back, so I have no choice but to place a vote, even if it is a guess.

Vote: Trexxen / Kyle.

I suggest you all do likewise, or you'd better all come to some agreement (and no, we can't kill Staudie, lord knows I've tried). :sceptic:

Hmm, for some reason I'm compelled to agree with Rotrigous. (whether it's a good idea remains to be seen)

Unvote: Stutter / Staudie / Strudel / whatever (though I'd love to see him hanged )

Vote: Trexxen / Kyle the executioner.

Lord Gary. And I have been suspicious of him for awhile now - especially when he told me that I was going to die anyway and everyone knew that. :cry_sad:

And there you have it- Friar=loyalist. If Paul and Kyle are traitors, than Friar=traitor.

Someone please explain to me how that works then. I have nothing to do with either one of them. :look:

Mary: I also vote that we kill Kyle, since Staudie can't die. Maybe we can stick him in a drawer and leave him there, or have Majiko turn him into a duck! Yeah! And since ducks weigh the same as witches, they float, which means we need to build a bridge out of Staduie Duck. No , wait, that's not right. What if it starts to rain sideways? Then the Duckbridge that ws built out of Staudie would weight the same as flaoting lead. No, I don't think that's it either. Oh, I'm so confused...

Well, here's something I do understand:

Vote: Trexxen / Kyle the executioner.

You are both traitors. You know that you're basically dead the way things are going, and you are doing everything you can to lead us away from your fellow traitor: Kyle.

That's the way I see it.

Found the quote - I was Fred actually. However, I'm not sure if I should vote for Kyle or not. I think that we'll find him to be a loyalist. Still, if he's a traitor, then all eyes will turn to me. I'm sorry sorry but I vote: Kyle/Trexxen. However, I will probably change my vote.

Mary, you need to start thinking for yourself gal. You don't give any reason to voting and often do the same as Rotrigous. You two could both be in league with each other and make me all the more suspicious of you both. :sceptic:

At this point, I'm not making any associations, but we're getting to the point where it's guess or someone dies. I'm not comfortable with that, and I don't think anyone will hold it against us if we're wrong, given the circumstances.

If he's a traitor, I'll just be glad we scored one. I remember his comments about torture being odd and confusing and that's enough for me.

I don't think she's only gone with my choices, she just goes with the crowd in general. You know the kind... She isn't too bright, but so far it's helped us deal with what traitors we've managed to discover. And it's kept the nights interesting.

What was that? Oh, nothing Mary, we were discussing burning Staudie to boil some soup. No, I don't know what kind of wood he is, something dense, I'm sure. Now go back to your dusting, we have business to attend to here. :sceptic:

<whispers> See what I mean? </whispers>

((Okay this is my last post that I can do today, the exam is on Friday and I need to study hard tomorrow (being technically today (1am Wednesday night/Thursday morning))))

I unvote Paul, Vote Trexxen/Kyle, hope we don't have a random killing, and at least Kyle has been suspected for a while.

Don't think you out of the woods though Mary and Paul... and by the looks Gary and Adam (+all the guards) and Rotrigious

just about the only person not suspected is Savy, that makes me suspect him... no I am missing one ah the friar, nope he is suspected by some to...

the further we look for traitors the more we seem to get lost :cry_sad: , maybe if the traitors could kindly get lost then we could search shortly and find them, khfgkugctg *head hits key board*!

and on that saad note i think my typist has fallen asleep. Night night Blocky

Now all you are stuck with me! haha (Stauder, you may use Byron to his Anoying maximum in my absence!(he likes poo a lot  )((sorry guys but he is kinda funny)))

Mary: What! I helped to lead the march on Lady Suzanne Rits! How dare you not call me bright! If I could chose to not sleep with you I would, but I can't, so... and, yes, today I'm going with teh crowd because we need a death or Draggy will kill one of us randomly, it this way we've got some control! And you Celler Keeper, do not insult me! Or else I'll lock Staudie in with you and the wine!

Oi, you're staff, just like me! And you don't even have the keys to my cellar. Don't get smart with me sister! But yes, you did start us onto Lady Suzanne, true. Actually, I've decided to revoke my decision - Mary is a very capable woman who carefully considers all apsects before making her decision. Happy now.
