Auroralampinen Posted May 1 Posted May 1 Well, finally the hubcaps are back. Now the wheels look much better:) Quote
Bartybum Posted May 1 Posted May 1 Damn that looks pretty slick, very interested to see what the rest will look like Quote
Ngoc Nguyen Posted May 1 Author Posted May 1 Didn't expect to see a drifting function in Lego Technic but apparently it's a real thing for this set. Quote
Aurorasaurus Posted May 1 Posted May 1 I think its AWD! This set is actually starting to look like a winner to me. AWD, functions, wheel covers... its a perfect base for modding, I'm actually excited for this one. Printed wheel arches and non matching sticker colors is unfortunate but acceptable, maybe it can be recoloured. Quote

And i wonder, why there is heavy duty clutch🤔. Quote
1gor Posted May 1 Posted May 1 Short suspension arms at the front from F1 cars and AWD means short universal or CV joints, or shorter axle like on Ford GT that futs CV joints. Only side line is wired... Quote

Auroralampinen Posted May 1 Posted May 1 Well, now the official lego page is up:). https://www.lego.com/en-gb/product/2-fast-2-furious-nissan-skyline-gt-r-r34-car-42210 Quote
Gumalca Posted May 1 Posted May 1 If it has AWD this will not really work well together with lifting the back wheels off the ground? Quote

Where they demonstrated this feature, the rear wheels spin in the air. Because this seems to not have a central differential:). Quote

Thirdwigg Posted May 1 Posted May 1 I wonder how they are going to fit two universal joints (or something else) in the front suspension axles? Quote
Zerobricks Posted May 1 Posted May 1 A quick mock up shows that we should be getting a 4 stud long double ended CV joint and I think I can also see a 4 stud long steering link which is also probably used in the Bronco. Quote
