Actually they have a central clutch pack that's electronically controlled, so more like a transfer case than a differential.  The rear is always directly driven by the transmission.

Oh ok! So the clutch automatically connects and disconnects the front axle as necessary? Kind of the opposite of the Lego set then, I guess!

After a deep closer look to the model and the partial inventory, I would bet to 90% that this model is a Milan Reindl design. The great parts usage mixed with the many system parts reminds alot to the 42177 design (and also 42110).

It is not Milan's set, he said that on Instagram. The only set from Milan this year is RB F-1. But he also stated, that he "helped here and there" on some of the summer wave sets.

From these two quotes, I can successfully conclude that it defo has nice touches from Milan Reindl  But who actually designed this beauty? Hope to know it soon!

Someone already started a live build of this set:

I predict that the new 4L double sided CV joint is in black

hey I was right 😄

I also predict that we get these plastic balls in black, the same part that came in the Liebherr LR1300 crane  hey I was right again!

Looks indeed like black CV joints axle 4l....and 4L links with ball joint at the end

Yep. And be disconnected otherwise I think. :wall:

Indeed, the drive train from the front axle goes through 2 pairs of 20/12 meshing to reach the rear axle.

biscuit joints in blue found (I'll stop with the "I predicted it" jokes now :P)

I also tried again (since a few weeks ago) to convert the brickset .CSV file so that stubborn dimwitted rebrickable understands it but it just complains and removed parts, and then you'll probably use a parts list not a custom list, and so it won't tell you if you have the parts or not, or enough of them.

I was contemplating building a replica of this set, but the fact I only have 1 of the spike prime castor beams and no ball parts that fit into it, plus rebrickable's shenanigans made me change my mind.

With all the new suspension parts this year, a multi link suspension might be possible and compact. Wish they would make some super hard mini shocks

Was just talking about that with a friend. Would love to see a 3,5 long shock with 0,5 stud of movement or such. But I' also really happy with the the suspension and driveline components we got in the last 2 years, building robust models has never been easier.

Ok, this looks painfull. You have to alling perfectly the three stickers(on those plates). If the nasa 747 gets prints for same window patterns. WHY this can't have same treatment, because this is also 18+:/

Becasue all of those decal is different. 747 get 6 types of print and one of it has 22 in that set. This set need literally 38 type of printed piece which need just only one piece per type.

Well, partly because they are different patterns, partly because this is just a "simple" surface and it's not an expensive set :(
