App-Controlled Cat® D11 Bulldozer

Help my dear lego superfans. I'm building the D11 Bulldozer that I've had stashed for a couple years and I'm having issues with part's set 2. I've gotten to the first systems check and the gear 'catch' is not seating in the flywheel. Has anyone experienced this?
