There is a limit of single battery box and four motors. So is the use of 1x Mindstorms Inventor/Spike 6 port HUB, 4x motors & 2x LEDs permitted or not? DISCUSSION TOPIC A discussion topic starting with [TC29]. A discussion topic needs to show some actual progress (i.e. pictures of the build in progress) and should not be used to "reserve an idea". Is a discussion topic required or is it allowed to only create a topic with a finished model? Showing a construction where ideas change doesn't necessarily seem like a good idea, besides, a MOC can be created comprehensively quite quickly. Quote

Why would it not be a good idea? Quote

Why would it not be a good idea? Exactly this! The contest is about showing progress and member participation. 11 hours ago, Bricksley said: So is the use of 1x Mindstorms Inventor/Spike 6 port HUB, 4x motors & 2x LEDs permitted or not?. That is correct. Quote

Fair call. I have many unfinished TC entries so I understand that one… but best to try and fail… in front of everyone, right Quote

It's really important that you at least tried, and had a great and fun time creating the model:). Quote
howitzer Posted May 27 Posted May 27 I have also history of starting my building thread and then not finishing the entry for the contest, either due to time constraints or technical difficulties. Nothing wrong with that and at least I learned a little bit each time. I very much agree that posting a topic which shows progress throughout the project is important, if someone posts a finished model just before deadline without putting out any info on progress first, it feels somehow like cheating (even if it's not against the rules). I also have several threads of unfinished TC entries. Quote
Jurss Posted May 29 Posted May 29 In fact, that is the main idea, to show that building process, to have really activity here, not come out of Your cave, and sow something ready in one post. Quote
