thekoRngear Posted May 27 Posted May 27 Plenty of top favorite sets of all time talks. Let's talk about designers. Counts both All time and recents. For me it is Markus Kossmann (all time) and Milan Reindl and Kasper René Hansen. I like Markus's efforts towards overall build and functionality. I love Milan's works for his brilliant brick-built solutions which are also challenging. Recently I like Kasper for his commendable efforts towards rigidity in builds like 9x8 Peugeot Hypercar. As for MOCs it is Viktor Geynes for his brilliance in RC retro-isque cars. Also Sariel, Didumos and Eric Trax. For Lego it is usually a group of designers lead by some really cool and experienced talented person. Information comparatively scarce as to how they develop the builds as they go through required hurdles. Howevr, thanks to Racingbrick and others along with official podcasts we also get to know about these too. Quote
Bartybum Posted May 27 Posted May 27 Markus Kossman is the GOAT. Absolute bangers - 8275, 8288, 42009, 40243, 42055, 42100, etc etc Quote

He can keep his views on my country's political situation to himself, but he's been behind some sets than run the gamut from cool to absolutely amazing - 42006, 42021, 42042, 42054, 42081, 42114... I could go on! Plus I'll always have the memories of 8226 from when I borrowed it off a mate. Quote

everybrickasculpture Posted May 27 Posted May 27 Probably LoxLego, I have converted 5 of his amazing 1:8 cars with ZENE RC and they always go smoothly, not to mention the bodywork is very stout. Quote
