Lego Factory sets

Has anyone bought any of these? They have been available on S@H for some time, but I have been reluctant to buy because of the cost.

I am struck that they have never once shown up on the "what's hot" list in either Canada or the US as far as I can tell, which makes me suspect that they are not selling well at all. It would be too bad if that experiment dies - the idea was good, but the pricing seems to kill it.

If anyone has bought any of the factory sets... what did you think?

I think Mini (here on EB forum) has brought one of each. Maybe he can provide some insight on these sets.

I haven't bought them. I thought about it just for the pieces, but there aren't any real cool parts. The sets seem too expensive... Who would build a micro city anyway? I say give us more City sets for minifigs with shops, churches, bars, *****houses and the like...

It's definately a "no buy" set.

There are ppl out there who do - I'm not one of them, though. It sure is a challenge in a way but not appealing to me.
