Ayrlego Posted November 2 Posted November 2 The sun dipped low over the hills as Basil Vatatzes returned to his modest estate, the dust of war still clinging to his boots. After months of grueling campaign against the northern barbarians, the gentle rhythm of olive harvest preparations offered a soothing contrast to the clash of swords and cries of battle. The estate buzzed with quiet purpose—workers moved between groves, baskets in hand, laughter drifting on the breeze. On the balcony of the main house, Basil stood beside his wife Yazinta, her presence a balm to his weary soul. As he gazed out over the land he fought to protect, a deep sense of peace settled in his chest—he was home. Unfortunately I ran out of time towards the end of the build and the final details and photography were a bit rushed. My photography setup isn't what it used to be! Still it was very nice to actually compete a build for the first time in a long time! Quote
NOD Posted November 2 Posted November 2 I would also like to live in this "modest estate". I really like the covered entrance area with the loggia above it. The covered viewing platform on the roof is also very nice Quote
Professor Thaum Posted November 3 Posted November 3 As usual, a very nice MOC. The large windows are killer. Quote
Khorne Posted November 3 Posted November 3 Excellent MOC with beautiful architecture all around and plenty of cool details. It has that classic Ayrlego touch to it. Glad to see you building again! Quote
