If these arms fit together with a regular MF this could be a very interesting thing... :look:

Oh, good idea  It would be VERY interesting if they were, although MF arms are annoying to get on and off :pir-sceptic:

Cant Wait :pir-cry_happy:

Happy new-pictures day! One picture (so far) is now up on the lego cache:

8958-0000-xx-12-1.jpg

The set looks okay, but that mutant thing is like something out of a McDonalds Happy Meal! :pir-sick: And no transparent minifig parts! :pir-cry_sad:

On a happy note, the printed pants on the angry guy look good...

People are complaining about the rock monsters? Personally I think they look great, especially compared to the MM jellies.

How CAN you complain? They are brilliant!!! :pir-cry_happy: But they need a leader :pir-sceptic: :pir-skull:

I will probably wind up getting that big drill thing, but the weird claw-frontloader truck, while cool at first glance, has some sloppy construction that I'm having trouble forgiving...

Sloppy construction?, i don't see any, it just another set that is quite cool but not the best in the seris. :pir_laugh2:

I see a long axle sticking out of the back wheel for no reason. Also, the arms are very lazily built.

How can you say there is no reason for the axle when you don't even see the details of the set? :pir_wacko: i think that most or all of these sets have some kind of inner functions, maybe the axle is therefore, you can't tell that from this picture. And come on, how annoying can an axle be that is sticking out somewhere barely a few millimeters? And the arms are technic pieces, i think these will be pretty stable.

It's just sloppy building. It's never cool to leave your axles sticking out all over the place. I see no reason why the wheels can't be moved out a little bit to account for the extra space. Totally possible.

In my experience, there's always a way to fix those kind of sloppy details if you just put enough time into building the model. It's a small thing, sure, but it bothers me.

And yes, obviously they're technic, but it would have looked way better as system. Too simple looking as it is.
