SWMAN Posted December 1, 2008 Author Posted December 1, 2008 Not in my country! on thursday I saw Episode 6 which was pretty crap. That sucks. In the US we are on like 9 or 10. Quote
Captain REX Posted December 2, 2008 Posted December 2, 2008 Ok but please remember (you probably know this already) that because your a few episodes ahead of us please discuss them in spoiler tags. Quote
SWMAN Posted December 2, 2008 Author Posted December 2, 2008 Of course. The episode last night was kind of weird. It feels like they are getting a little strange. Quote
5150 Lego Posted December 3, 2008 Posted December 3, 2008 Of course. The episode last night was kind of weird. It feels like they are getting a little strange. Last nights episode was preety dumb. It feels like there running out of material. Quote
JINZONINGEN73 Posted December 4, 2008 Posted December 4, 2008 I don't feel the "slowness" that other people reference with some episodes, but I do admit the last one was a little "weird". In being apologetic of it, it might not be a matter of running out of material, but in adding to Cameron's character in a way they otherwise couldn't. It really drove home that even though she has moments where there might be a heart, her programming will always override it. Also neat is the way you have everyone else in the show running around the backs of others doing their own little secret operations the others don't need to know about, and here Cameron gets hers too. If I could shoot this episode down though it's in this... I can't STAND tv shows and movies where "impossible" coincidences pop up just to move a story along. In this case, Cameron just HAPPENS to be in the right building... one building out of the ENTIRE world... that has a black and white picture sitting out that catches her fancy. Oh but wait, the building this picture is on display in has ALL the relevant data stored inside it! ALL by accident. No. NO. Storytelling like this is just an insult to one's intelligence. Still, quick robot fight redeems it somewhat, but... ...I hope they don't do anything like this again. It's probably the first time I really had anything bad to say about the show. Quote
JimBee Posted December 7, 2008 Posted December 7, 2008 I also agree that this episode was weird. I think that the producers tried to develop Cameron's personality by her interacting with her counselor who has cancer, but they didn't really do a good job with that. What's more, that cliffhanger from a couple of weeks ago (Cromarti being the Turk) still hasn't been further explained. Still, the flashbacks to the 20's was cool, as well as the Tommy guns. Quote

JimBee Posted December 7, 2008 Posted December 7, 2008 Remember, a lot of people have not seen this episode yet due to different broadcast days and times. If you post spoilers, please mark them. Well, there is a big "SPOILER ALERT", so that should be a warning to people who haven't seen it yet... Quote
Captain REX Posted December 8, 2008 Posted December 8, 2008 What's more, that cliffhanger from a couple of weeks ago (Cromarti being the Turk) Oh thanks a bunch for ruining it ! Quote
JimBee Posted December 8, 2008 Posted December 8, 2008 Oh thanks a bunch for ruining it ! Again, noticee the Spoiler Alert in the title... Whatever, I'll add spoiler bars from now on... Quote
JINZONINGEN73 Posted December 9, 2008 Posted December 9, 2008 Actually, I think I'll stop putting things in spoiler tags. I mean, you're right. The topic's title is a big enough sign, yes? Quote
Captain REX Posted December 9, 2008 Posted December 9, 2008 Notice it says: anybody else watch? I watch in a different part of the world than Americans do. I could call that rascim because your saying that only Americans can post in this thread if anyone wants to advoid spoilers. And JINZONINGEN 73 if you can't be bothered to put spoiler tags jusst because it says SPOILER ALERT in the title then you are really lazy! Quote
Pencoin Posted December 9, 2008 Posted December 9, 2008 Actually, I think I'll stop putting things in spoiler tags.I mean, you're right. The topic's title is a big enough sign, yes? Jinzo thats a little harsh? Its not little Rex's fault. I caught a glimpse of this series recently and it seems good, but is it canon to the films? If so I may watch it. Quote
JINZONINGEN73 Posted December 10, 2008 Posted December 10, 2008 I watch in a different part of the world than Americans do. I could call that rascim because your saying that only Americans can post in this thread if anyone wants to advoid spoilers. I got into watching this show late in the game, due to not having cash to have cable on my tv (well, still don't). So. Would it be right for me to have everyone who wants to talk about the current events in the show use spoiler tags until I catch up? No. It would be silly, only more so because the title says there's spoilers. Should I think people not using tags is a bigoted attack on me and other poor people? No, of course not. No one is attacking me. Use of the tags from the topic's creation in September up until now has been haphazard at best, so why are there only complaints now in December? September, I see you talking about a Lego robot on the first page. I hadn't seen that part yet. In October you're saying they're in a nuclear power plant. November you're mentioning Marty and the book report. December, you're complaining others are spoiling it for you. So it looks like every single post from every single member must be absolutely spoiler tagged without exception as there are bound to be people who have not seen the show up to the various points all of us have. So begins a topic filled solely with black bars... EDIT: You know what? Now that I think about it, how come it's just this Terminator topic? Why not Clone Wars? Why not the Last Movie You Watched topics too? And I don't think they even say spoiler in the title! Finally got around to watching the last episode. Hardly a fight going on, but it was nicely done in my opinion. Not quite sure why Cameron went crashing through a window though... it's not like she was thrown there by anyone. I'm not seeing the tactical advantage to such an action, unless it was the absolute remainder of energy and she felt she HAD to get to Sarah so her body could have time to reboot and whatnot. Very odd... Quote

SWMAN Posted December 11, 2008 Author Posted December 11, 2008 I think everybody needs to calm down on the Spoiler topic. I just think that everybody should be considerate of others and if they want to post revealing spoilers then they should mark them with the black spoiler tags to be considerate. Quote
JINZONINGEN73 Posted December 12, 2008 Posted December 12, 2008 I don't quite get why a Terminator body was wanted so badly by the liquid chick. The Turk is the brain, so isn't the body just the body? ...Or maybe a Terminator has more thought nodules inside than just the brain chip that was smashed?... Quote

SWMAN Posted December 14, 2008 Author Posted December 14, 2008 who ya callin little? I think everybody needs to calm down a little bit. The series is kind of canon to the films. Probably more so to the first two than the third one. I have read that is ties into Salvation, but that is not a fact. Quote
JINZONINGEN73 Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 I don't like it when continuities in franchises are messed up. I really don't. A new series or movie comes out and BOOM, we're told, "Ok, THIS is canon, THAT isn't... this is... this one might be..." UGH. And it's happened with Terminator, bigtime. But even though Sarah was told Judgment Day was in 1997, and it wound up being in 2003, and NOW the series is going on in the current year of 2008... ...it's not all "impossible" yet that these things could still be woven together. This show has time travel goin' on, with paradoxes breaking through. I imagine by the end of the series, and we KNOW everything IS going to go to hell at some point, that John could very well end up back where he was at the start of T3, just in time for T4. My biggest issues are John says at the start of SCChronicles that the events of T2 started when he was 13. But T2 happened when he was 10. Oh well. It's still all a fun ride... It doesn't bug me anywhere NEAR as much as the alternate realities of Star Wars, Transformers and 9 million other LAME examples for continuity insanity. (Speaking of time paradoxes... was I asleep when it was explained why Reese didn't remember being analyzed in the future?!? I like... didn't see where that was made clear.) Quote
JimBee Posted December 17, 2008 Posted December 17, 2008 (Speaking of time paradoxes... was I asleep when it was explained why Reese didn't remember being analyzed in the future?!? I like... didn't see where that was made clear.) I thought she did remember... but who knows? This show is way too confusing... Speaking of which... now there are aliens involved?! This is almost as bad as Indy 4. And they've moved the show to Fridays... starting in February. Considering that Friday is a day that people don't usually watch T.V, I'd say that the end is near for this show... But at least we got some answers relating to the Turk and other things from 3 weeks ago. (Spoiler inserted for those who... complain...) Quote
Captain REX Posted December 17, 2008 Posted December 17, 2008 well there are supposed to be 22 episodes in the series Quote
