JimboJones Posted October 24, 2008 Posted October 24, 2008 I know there is no such game but there could be so many good ideas with it. heres what i would do I know spiderman works solo so the partner might have to be the black cat It would take the idea of Lego batman with hero and villain levels. Each Chapter has a group of enemies trying to take over the city in some form These would be the groups Group 1 lead by Green Goblin: Hobgoblin, Hydro-man, Morbius, Scorpion & Kingpin. Group 2 Sinister 6 lead by Doc Oc: Electro, Kraven the Hunter, Mysterio, Vulture & Sandman Group 3 led by Venom: Carnage, Lizard, Shocker, Chameleon & Rhino. Villain Abilities:(hyper strength breaks hyper doors) Green Goblin: Flies on Glider, Throws Goblin Bombs, Pass through toxic Gases. Doc Octopus: Grapple, Reach Far away characters, Super Strength. Venom: Slide under doors, Pass though gases, Turn enemies against eachother. Electro: Jumpstart broken machinary, Electricutes Enemies. Vulture: Glide ability, super strength. Rhino: Hyper Strength, Earthquake(like jedi slam) Super Strength Mysterio: Control Enemies like Hush, Pass through gas. Scorpion: Super Strength, Reach Far away enemies, Hyper Strength Sandman: Super Strength, Grapple, Can Slide under doors Chameleon: Disguise( enemies wont attack), Grapple, Recruit(civilians help you kill enemies) Kingpin: Recruit, Superstrength. Morbius: Freezes Enemies, Pass through gases Most other characters are just clones Quote
SWMAN Posted October 24, 2008 Posted October 24, 2008 While it might be a good idea, I don't think it would sell well. Lego Spiderman was not big enough of a theme to warrant having a game. Quote
Zorro Posted October 24, 2008 Posted October 24, 2008 While it might be a good idea, I don't think it would sell well. Lego Spiderman was not big enough of a theme to warrant having a game. I like it . But SWMAN could be right, i never saw many members support of the theme here on EB... Quote
Pencoin Posted October 24, 2008 Posted October 24, 2008 It's not that people don't like it, just that its an old theme now. Good idea but wrong time unfortnatley. Quote
baby Posted October 24, 2008 Posted October 24, 2008 Spiderman theme lifespan is too short and not much set is released, besides now MB has the license to of Marvel Hero. Think your idea won't be working. Quote
Dadster Posted October 24, 2008 Posted October 24, 2008 I don't know... With the popularity of Bats, maybe Spidey would do well. Bring back some simple sets. (Spidey-Buggy type...) I think a Lego: Spidey would be (and do) fantastic!! Here's hoping! Quote
Pencoin Posted October 24, 2008 Posted October 24, 2008 Bring back some simple sets. (Spidey-Buggy type...) You're kidding right? Quote
JimBee Posted October 24, 2008 Posted October 24, 2008 You're kidding right? Why not? I would like Spiderman sets to make a return. I think your ideas are good, JimboJones, but the theme wasn't and isn't very popular, so a game would not be likely to be made. Quote
Pencoin Posted October 25, 2008 Posted October 25, 2008 No it was those two words: Spider buggy. Spiderman isn't Batman, he doesnt have fifty-million vehicles to get round New York. Quote
ED-209 Posted October 29, 2008 Posted October 29, 2008 Much as I'd love a Lego Spidey game, I doubt it'll happen. It's tremendously disappointing that Lego lost the licensing, but if if Marvel and Lego ever got together again, how awesome would it be to see all the Marvel films in Lego form? Even if they didn't go back and make figures and sets from the older films (Lego X-mansion set! Wow!), the current and upcoming films of Iron Man, Hulk, Thor and Captain America would be awesome! Man, now I'm going to have to go and make figs of them! Ooh, and Sam Jackson as Nick Fury too! But Avengers tangent aside, if Lego were to re-launch Spider-Man, I'd love to see more material drawn from the comics as well as the films - much like they did with Batman. After all, Spidey's rogues' gallery rivals Batman's! Quote
bub166 Posted October 29, 2008 Posted October 29, 2008 Not to mention that LEGO said they were moving out of this type of game after Batman. Smart idea making an Indy game right before the movie and revealing that there probably won't be anything for the new movie... Hopefully they will return. Infact, Clone Wars doesn't sound so bad... Zarkan Posted November 5, 2008 Posted November 5, 2008 Honestly, as much as I like the ol' webhead, Spidey just doesn't work well as a lego license or game. The reason is that Spiderman is mainly character based, and that is not what young lego fans are looking for. They want vehicles and gadgets, something that Spiderman is not known for. On the other hand, Batman has done so well because Batsy has so many cool inventions that can be made into lego kits. It's a bummer, I know, but that's the way it works. Quote
Dadster Posted November 6, 2008 Posted November 6, 2008 You're kidding right? No - I'm not. Pure Awesome! Quote
KimT Posted December 4, 2008 Posted December 4, 2008 Swoosh. Up up and away. Going to the multimedia forum. Quote
Natman8000 Posted December 4, 2008 Posted December 4, 2008 Well, spiderman 4 is coming out in 2011 But your idea sounds just like the batman game. Quote
user Posted December 5, 2008 Posted December 5, 2008 well meg@ b!o(k$ adopted the theme of spidey so they couldn't! Quote
pr0visorak Posted December 5, 2008 Posted December 5, 2008 This is never going to happen, the spiderman liscence ended years ago! They cant make it anymore but you can dream... Quote
Justin Posted December 7, 2008 Posted December 7, 2008 I commence closure of this topic at once. Quote
