RileyC Posted October 15, 2009 Posted October 15, 2009 Hey Guys, Kmart has the Endor set on special at $150 plus a further 20% off that, making it a tidy $120! - I checked on the price scanner to confirm. This was at Palms in Chch, they had about 8-10 up on the shelf. I'm gutted as I didn't get one, I'm broke. But I know you freaks probably will snap them up. Wow $120 thats soo cheap I wish I had that kinda money right now . Thanks for that new Coldbricks

I ended up getting 3 Endors @ $120 1 Venator @ $156 1 Dropship @ $180 Callum you may want to see if the K-mart there will match prices if so I'll send proof of the discounts in the form of a copy of my bill.

I just don't wat one (thats a first) Republic Dropship with AT-OT Walker was $225 but after the 20% discount they became $180 I only got most of the set for the figures. At that price, I wouldn't hesitate to get the Endor, and maybe even the Dropship.

The only tricky bit there is how do you send the manual with each one. :) I am about to make a trip to Kmart - I just got a brochure saying it is 20% off all lego from Thursday ... I am thinking maybe they did not know about it until now! Thanks for the offer of sending the bill etc. If it came to that, they would probably look at me blankly and make grunting noises.

Speaking of Powerminers, horrible models (already on trademe) but the figures are kinda neat - and heaps of specialty parts.

I havn't seen them in ages.... not even when i was in Auckland last month Yeah, Endors a bargian.... what a shame there's none left in CHCH. Not Riccarton nor palms

I better call around the Auckland Kmart and see who got some. I hope I don't have to go too far. It sounds like the larger 2009 Lego Star Wars set are causing Kmart some serious indigestion. I hope it won't scare them off in 2010 from bringing in the big sets for their Toy Sale. I'm just hoping it is not a case of short term joy for us only to get some long term pains as retailers react to the bath they are taking now.

Nice set, i must say.... Still trying to work out a way to not fold up the 'head' though Also brought a City crawler crane. $52 down from $120. A real steal at that price. I really like it. CommanderFox CommanderFox The Kmarts I rang around don't seem to have the RAS but there's this one on TM ==>RAS. I think Kmart had the RAS for a lower price but with 2010 fast approaching (40+ days to xmas ppl) I suspect these will be out of stock soon so you might have to grab it while you can. I made the same mistake with the Republic Attack Gunship last year thinking I pick it up early 2009 after I saved up a bit but that got sold out quick and no one restocked!! Ended up having to pay shipping from Shop@Home. But I'm not sure how much I trust the Kmart inventory system bcos I was told that the Botany branch don't have sold out of Endor but when I went over I found one ... YES!

I dashed down to K-Mart last night and grabbed th last Endor they had, as well as the second to last AT-OT (the other had a very badly damaged box). So I guess I got lucky there. I still can't believe how cheap that is, considering some of the ToyWorld stores now appear to be selling Endor at $250. Overall, a 67% saving, which is insane. Too bad their weren't any more Endor sets, I would love another one. Still, I am very happy with my haul, thanks for the tip off whoever mentioned this sale. I'm glad some other EB members got in on this too, better us than all the dealers. EDIT: Congrats Dragonator on obtaining The Games Regulator Position Thanks very much Ravi.

It was a nice build, quite fun, but i really don't have room, especially for such a huge set that was one of the very few not on my want list! But hey, i doubt i'll lose on it! BTW Just a peice of useless info for you all.... Neverdrop a original RGS on an original AT-TE Long story short, trying to add the new dropship to my now stuffed CW scene in my room, the RGS somehow dropped - onto the AT-TE.... Dang!
