Emperor Claudius Rome Posted July 30, 2009 Posted July 30, 2009 Boba /Jango Fett has a flame thrower. But you don't flame Geonosians with them. Quote
HumanPackMule Posted July 30, 2009 Posted July 30, 2009 But you don't flame Geonosians with them. He could have modded the game so that he could. P.S. Could you please stop acting like a know-it-all? I'm sure other members here find it very annoying Quote
Oky Posted July 30, 2009 Posted July 30, 2009 All videogame speculations aside, why would there be Cold Assault Troopers on Geonosis, or Geonosians on an ice planet? I'm pretty sure that they are either fighting some creatures or melting through ice. Btw, here is a pic of CW Bossk from the rumors thread: Just thought it should be posted here. Quote

HumanPackMule Posted July 30, 2009 Posted July 30, 2009 How am I acting like a Know-it-all? You constantly correct people when they make simple mistakes. According to my definition of a know-it-all, you fit in. Quote
Mraz Skintas Posted July 31, 2009 Posted July 31, 2009 It seemed to like he was wondering how simonjedi torched Geos on BFII, as Jango or Boba are not on the same levels as them. The caption was 'The surface of Mandalore, during the Clone Wars.' Wookieepedia also says that the main terrain was forest, rainforest, and deserts. I, however, believe that the Polar regions have snow, as Telos IV and Coruscant and many other planets do. I do not know, though, if this would be the snow in season two. For all I know, they could be back on Orto Plutonia, or be on Hoth, Rhen Var, or some other snow planet. Quote
Emperor Claudius Rome Posted July 31, 2009 Posted July 31, 2009 (edited) Or maybe Mandalore has Alp like mountains? Edited July 31, 2009 by Emperor Claudius Rome Quote
Commander Flash Posted July 31, 2009 Posted July 31, 2009 Your quote is from the wrong thread Hopefully we get a Mandalore set Quote

The Nightwing Reborn Posted August 1, 2009 Posted August 1, 2009 Going off of what Mraz 'Skintas said of the snow planet, if they were to do a Rhen Var episode, I would hope for an encounter with the spirit of Ulic Qel-Droma. He could be the first to taunt Anakin with the dark side. Though, that would have to be more mid to late season 3, when it hopefully gets darker. Or Yavin VI with Exar Kun, I guess I'm just a sith fanboy. Quote

Anything with a darker mood(or tone-I stunk at telling the difference between the two) would make the series much more popular among adult fans of Star Wars. Quote
-JD- Posted August 1, 2009 Posted August 1, 2009 The difference in number between kids who like SW and adults who like SW is HUGE. I expect they would rather appeal to the kids and not the adults. It sucks for us, but some episodes there is quite a lot of violence so we may just have to cope. I am sure Anakin will start to change during this season, and even more when something happens to Ahsoka. Quote
Oky Posted August 1, 2009 Posted August 1, 2009 Are you saying there are more kids liking SW than adults? Have you ever seen pics from Comic Con or a SW Celebration? I'm pretty sure there are more adults liking SW than kids. If you were referring to this TV show alone, that would be a different thing... It sucks for us, but some episodes there is quite a lot of violence so we may just have to cope. What do you mean by that? Don't you like violent episodes? Quote

Not clear whether you meant there's more adult fans or kids fans but I suspect there's more adult fans. Kid fans grow into adult fans and you are an adult for a lot longer than you're a kid. Unless we are starting to get metaphorical and talking about some adults are still "kids" at heart and things like that. Quote

I'm pretty sure there are more adults liking SW than kids.If you were referring to this TV show alone, that would be a different thing... Yes, I meant the TV show. The other movies are liked about the same by both age groups, but kids don't show it as much. I only think that because of videos from all the Comic Cons, when adults go round in costumes while the kids just wonder and look at stuff. What do you mean by that? Don't you like violent episodes? Hell no! I love them! I think parents ( the fussy ones anyway) won't like their kids watching clones being impaled and decapitated. Some parents will be fine, thinking it is a kids show. I meant that there is only a few episodes with violence, so we have to cope with the not-so-violent ones. I meant kid fans for the CW series. You have some good points, but remember kids stop liking things like that when they come under peer pressure and get more mature. Ofcourse in all our cases.... Sorry I caused all this confusion! Mwahahaha! Quote
Corvus Posted August 6, 2009 Posted August 6, 2009 Maybe they're rouge mandalorians who overthrough the leaders of Mandalore because maybe they were considering joining the republic No... they're Mercenaries. They get hired for a lot of money. Like the 'Joygasm" Jim Carrey riddler had in "Batman forever"I was off topic there. I think They are either: A) Rouge Mandalorians or B) Death Watch Yeah! Okay my theory on the Mandalorians: After the Jedi wiped ou the Mandalorian warriors, a depression swept through Mandalore. The leaders believe their only hope was to join the Republic. A group of young Mandalorian "Fanboys" who are obsesed with their peoples warrior history believe it would be like "Surrendering" to the enemy. So they steal some armor from a graveyard, buy weapons from the Confederacy, and use it to overthrough their leaders! When cad bane arriveswith the dutchess, they they hold the hostage, demanding an apologie from the republic, and weapons! Wait, wait, what is this? Mandalorians are mercenaries. Someone paid them to go after Obi-Wan. And no Mando would ever join the Republic unless they got paid to. Besides, the Mandalorians weren't all dead. Sure, a lot of supercommandos died in Galidraan, but Mandalore was still going strong. I don't know about anyone else, but I think that the Mystery Mandolorian resembles Ghez Hokan from the Republic Commando novels. This dosen't fit in too well with canon, though, so I may be wrong. (Although, CW dosent fit in with the canon too well either.) Nah... Ghez Hokan has red armor. Am I the only one who thinks flamethrowers are ineffective against battle droids? Exactly what I thought. Flamethrowers are meant to terrify you, and droids don't get scared.... Mandalore is mostly wild forest, interspersed with small settlements of exremely awesome people. I wouldn't like seeing the CW end up on Hoth... because I just know that I would end up hating it. The Mandos weren't quite as good as they should have been. Their helmets looked wierd, and they didn't seem to have a lot of cool tech on them- no jetpacks. I would've liked to see some more customization, like kamas, different paint schemes, really big guns. I just know the Mandos are going to die in some pathetic way or another. We know Obi-Wan lives. My best hope is that the Mandos find out that whoever's paying them has died, and leave, right when Obi-Wan is quivering and bleeding, but not dead, on the ground. I don't think that's Boba, either. Boba was 15 at the time, his accent was different, and he happened to be working for Jabba the Hutt at the time. Maybe a jedi dies *Cough* Ahsoka *Cough* and Mr. Manly McMando steals it (Mandalorian fanboys ) This is so going in my sig. Quote
Roderick Posted August 6, 2009 Posted August 6, 2009 They shouldn't be Death Watch, 'cos Death Watch is concerned with starting a new Mandalorian War, not getting involved in an existing one. All the same, just pinning them as vile mercs who work for the highest bidder sheds no light on who they really are and why they do what they do. Ah well, I'm going to have to watch this with the expectation of seeing yet another vod get topped by a Jedi. Then again, beskar'gam neck plates are lightsaber-resistant. Oh well, I can't wait to see what happens to him. They ought to give him a good name, too, like Dred Priest, Mij Gilamar, or Wad'e Tay'haai. Though having him kill Cad Bane would be an interesting development, as I'm a bit tired of all the hype over a mere Duros. Quote

Except it's different to them- the're the best mercs, after all. They've been doing it for thousands of years. I'd really like to see them kill Cad Bane. He's getting dangerously close to being a Jedi hunter, and that wouldn't do at all if they portrayed him as better than Fett. Quote
Commander Flash Posted August 6, 2009 Posted August 6, 2009 The Mandalorians need to deal with Cad Bane. That would be a good episode Quote
Mraz Skintas Posted August 6, 2009 Posted August 6, 2009 I agree, Cad was alright, but I don't want him to be too developed. The Mando's need to kill him, and his posse, then attack the Jedi Temple. Quote
Emperor Claudius Rome Posted August 7, 2009 Posted August 7, 2009 This is so going in my sig. Yay Really though. I know not all mandalorians are dead. But these guys don't sound like the mndo's of old. (kiwi's ) Maybe my theory on young Mandalorian "Fanboys" is correct Quote
Mraz Skintas Posted August 7, 2009 Posted August 7, 2009 They didn't have the New Zealand accent, true, but they were still real Mando's. He even said that his people fought the Jedi for a Mellinnia (SP?) Quote

Emperor Claudius Rome Posted August 8, 2009 Posted August 8, 2009 I don't think 100% of the population of Mandalore is a Mandalorian warrior. And me thinks it's not a good idea to still be fighting the Galactic version of the U.N with only 5 guys backing you up. Quote
