KKII continued on through 2006 with more action figures and System sets each year. Perhaps the line was improving with sets such as these:

10176 Royal King’s Castle

Actually, this was not really KKII, it was just a remake of 6098.

Nice article though! :classic:

This morning I was looking at all the old castle sets and wondering why there wasn't a theme review for them yet. And then I looked at todays active topics, and there it was!

This is a great article and it really helped me to get a complete picture of the castle theme as a whole, I hope you will continue to make these articles.

Thanks, all. However, I've been having a busy summer, so I haven't been able to write another article. School is starting soon, too, so if I don't get one done by the end of August, the articles will have to wait until Christmas break.

I am planning a non-evergreen theme review, though, so keep an eye out for it.

I'm looking forward to this "non evergreen review." I wonder what it could be, but its okay if it takes you awhile to finish, we all know how real life gets in the way of our Lego building.

I'm not sure how I missed this the first time. Thanks for putting this together. There wasn't anything I didn't know already, but it's still a very well assembled article with alot of good information

Good point. I was thinking the same thing. While most AFOLs disliked KKII, I can't actually say that the line didn't sell. I would edit that out, but it's probably bad form to change an already published article. All I can say is that I was wrong here.

"Published" is a pretty flexible term on a forum like this. The "edit" button is there for a reason. Modifying a post when new information is discovered is definitely the right thing to do, especially if you want your article to be a reference for future readers.

Sounds great, I'll be looking forward to it!

Sorry I took so long to reply to these latest comments, I forgot all about them.

Thanks, Eilif. What I meant by "published" is that is is meant to be an official article. Once an article is in a magazine or newspaper, the author shouldn't and wouldn't change it. I know that this is entirely different, but I consider it bad form on myself to change a review or article once they're published.

First of all, my compliments on the artcile. It is a nice read and very informative.

Just to give a small comment on the last replies: if you feel there is an error (or new information) that when corrected/added to the article increases its value, you should add it. In printed magazines an error is discovered after printing, but before distribution an "eratum" (I believe is the term?) is added.

Mark it at the place as "Edit *date* + reason for edit* and you maintain your official status.

Again, very nice article and thank you for writing!
