Peppermint_M Posted July 17, 2009 Posted July 17, 2009 Different Control Panels/Computer slopes More Minifig Parts More variety in Dark Blue/Dark Red/Dark Green parts,+ other rare colours. More colours for Jewels More Plant variety. More Animals Otherwise its ok.
HumanPackMule Posted July 17, 2009 Posted July 17, 2009 More castle themed pieces and those pieces like this
SpiderSpaceman Posted July 17, 2009 Posted July 17, 2009 Better range of the small modified plates, at least all the classics. Meaning the 1x1's and 1x2's with the hinges, bars, clips. And these babies for sure: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=4590 http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=60478 http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=32125 http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=32124 http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=4596 http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=2432 http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=50947 http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=30350 (sorry for lack of proper links; I'll try to do a grid of thumbnails when I get home) these two http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=3940 http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=4476 if this is miraculously still in production: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=6044 more arches (including the halves) 2 classic snot brackets: the one with the vertical 1x4, and the originql this has interested me http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=61068 The minifig tool wheel, aquazone knives, and the wrench/driver piece (bl # 4006), the blocky space guns and the chainsaw body. Ooh, and new telescope. fedoras, batman guns, orange clam, Indy military uniforms, tan flat top hair, dwarf beards, leather jacket torso, pirate bandana. Anything Pete Reid has ever used. Not PAB, but LDD requests: bring back the imaginary colors mode from LDD 3 fix stud-Technic hole connection add crazy tubing sim. again, I feel terrible about this mess of a post, but mytime on this computer has run out, and I'll never reproduce this list from memory.
I Scream Clone Posted July 17, 2009 Posted July 17, 2009 Since Lego goes to the trouble of producing rarer colours for sets, they could simply increase production to supply PAB walls as well. If you are making twice as many parts in one production run the costs work out less and we can get rarer colours in useful quantites like; Dark blue, Tan, Dark Tan, Sand green, Sand red etc. I would like to see more roofing slopes in colours like dark blue, grey and dark grey etc. 30% bricks 20% plates 15% plants etc 15% minifig 20% others
the enigma that is badger Posted July 17, 2009 Posted July 17, 2009 50% more minifig parts (body parts and headwear) 50% more minifig accessories for the upper and lower part Bricks? What are these "bricks" of which you speak?
robuko Posted July 17, 2009 Posted July 17, 2009 Thanks to TLC for asking us. I would be interested in what are the good sellers now. It would be great if they could use old moulds for PAB parts and have non-production pieces available only on PAB, which would make PAB a real alternative to bricklink. I guess PAB is a warehouse full of small-lot production runs, so they could experiment with batch production of a few high-demand old pieces like classic space parts and see how they sell. I guess this is a commercial decision ultimately - my observation is that the really high brick-count MOCs tend to be castle or space themed, so commercially I would look to please the builders who would buy in bulk and give the big revenue sources. for me, I would love to see- Fleshie heads and hands more roof slopes in different colours. 2x2x3 inside corner bricks -I wish more doors and windows/cockpits - please trans yellow cockpits! some specialist pieces from current ranges - barbed wire, laptop, telescope more arches more plants For colours, more brown, silver, old grey, sand green, dark green, dark blue If there is some physical limit on the number of stock items they carry, I would recommend to cut back on primary colour bricks and plates as they are quite easily available.
ILikePi Posted July 18, 2009 Posted July 18, 2009 I would like to see more minifig parts and minifig accessories (like food and stuff) and more rare colors of existing pieces (like dark blue).
Luke McAwesome Posted July 18, 2009 Posted July 18, 2009 Certainly the first priority is minifigures. I'd also like to see more wheels and such in PaB.
schlangus Posted July 18, 2009 Posted July 18, 2009 Mostly, I would like to see more Castle-themed minifig torsos, helms, and child/dwarf legs in other colors besides brown. I would also like to gripe about the pricing which is too high. 0.35USD for a 1x2 brick is ridiculous.
Slydog009 Posted July 18, 2009 Posted July 18, 2009 I really want to see more minifigure parts(especially ones from sets like star wars and space police themed) Everything else is ok, but lower prices would be good in these economic times!
Hinckley Posted July 18, 2009 Posted July 18, 2009 More windows in more colors please! At least 20% windows. And more basic mini-fig parts. Like plain white torsos!
Darth_Legois Posted July 18, 2009 Posted July 18, 2009 40% More minifig parts, Also some in flesh too would be great! 30% Lots of diffrent parts in colours such as Dark Blue, Dark Red, Dark Green, Dark Tan & other new colours. 10% More "special" peices (like someone else said barbed wire, laptop, telescope ect..) 20% More windows/shutters/doors in diffrent colours
jonwil Posted July 18, 2009 Posted July 18, 2009 What I want to see: More civilian minifigs (torsos, hair, heads, legs) More minifig accessories (hats, helmets, other headgear, tools, handcuffs, weapons, footwear, neck/back wear etc) More doors and windows and windscreens (put the trans-black windscreen and door from the City Corner bus on PaB and I am SO there) More printed parts (i.e. control panels, TV screens, computers, money, clocks, dials, gauges, flags, radar screens, telephones etc) Base plates (roadways, 8 x 16, 16 x 16, 16 x 32, 32 x 32, 48 x 48) Child/dwarf legs in more colors Roller door parts
Whittleberry Posted July 18, 2009 Posted July 18, 2009 (edited) - More Minifig parts (licensed parts, such as Admiral Ackbar's head, would sell like hotcakes) - More Minifig accessories - More minifig Food - More printed parts also, include more pieces which are relatively rare, yet in high demand (aka printed pieces, agents barbed wire, pieces which can only be found in a few sets) Edited July 18, 2009 by Whittleberry
jonwil Posted July 18, 2009 Posted July 18, 2009 I wouldn't expect to see any licensed parts on PAB (starwars etc). I expect the Mr Krabs torso is there because its not considered a "licensed part" (in the same way the fedora is not a "licensed part") Also, something else I want to see on the site is caterpillar tracks like on the new crane and new bulldozer (oh and it would be good to have BOTH sizes of sprocket please)
iminifig Posted July 18, 2009 Posted July 18, 2009 More female, minifigs parts, not just 2 types of hair. My daughter loves Lego, but says they only make it for boys, because she can not get female figures (heads, dresses, etc.) when we go pick-a-bricking.
L-space Posted July 18, 2009 Posted July 18, 2009 First thanks for asking. Then my suggestions: more minifig accessories more special parts rare colours of all bricks printed bricks The option the write in on a certain brick, when they reach the limit it will be produced. Maybe throw in a theme month: Castle, Star Wars, Pirates. And it has been said before; take a look at the pricing please. Sometimes your better of buying a set you don't want for a few pieces compared to the cost of a PaB-order.
jimmyhoppityhop Posted July 18, 2009 Posted July 18, 2009 spare clone helms!!!!!! more grey bricks and better guns! jimmyhoppityhop
huck to flat Posted July 18, 2009 Posted July 18, 2009 Okay, While I think the existing PAB is ok, it can improve. I honestly think that, after reading other post's, What we want is: Fleshie minifigure parts and a wider range of minifigure parts and accesories. Updated list of peices, as well as peices in colours witch for some weird reason they don't stock.. Greater range of parts Greater range of colours Almost everything being purchaseable off P.A.B Yeh.. Ollie
cagri Posted July 18, 2009 Posted July 18, 2009 Hi all, Thank you for your interest in the subject but I think some of you got this wrong. It is not practically possible to tell TLG which parts in particular you'd like to see. I mean those parts you have listed includes pretty much every single part. TLG wants to know what categories you'd be interested. Bricks, plates, figure parts, train parts, castle parts, plants, tiles, windows/doors, wheels etc... It will help us more if just list main categories. There is no way for us to sum up individual pieces, it's an endless list and I don't think TLG would have the time to study all of those :) Thanks.. Cagri
LittleBuilder Posted July 18, 2009 Posted July 18, 2009 Sticker, like bullets hole and SP , I know they aren't piece but they're LEGO too!
andy0002 Posted July 18, 2009 Posted July 18, 2009 horses! mideval helmets like this one---> more animals raised base plates
Ak-47 Posted July 18, 2009 Posted July 18, 2009 Dark and light gray 1x2 and 1x3 slopes, and also dark and light gray cheese slopes. Also maybe set the prices down a tad, I'm not asking for half price, but 1 or 2 cents makes a difference.
SpiderSpaceman Posted July 18, 2009 Posted July 18, 2009 (edited) so sorry, ambassadors . My little picks were meant to be examples, oft neglected pieces from categories that need expanding. I'll run this thru one more time and see if it's the kind of input you need, most needed catagories in bold. fuller specialty (clip, bar, hinge, offset) 1xN plate and brick selection. blocky guns, minifig tools. "Tiny Turbo" elements (slope, windshield, fender, etc) more structural elements, brackets fuller arch selection. more single piece animals. fun selection of minifig head and neck gear army minifig parts Edited July 18, 2009 by SpiderSpaceman

Cagri When you say it this way... More minifigure parts like heads and torsos hairs and hats for civilists and no stupid police and firemen. I gues everybody already has like 10 of each. More minifigure accesoirs like food and laptop/TV.
