Favorite Fortress

Got to go with 6081 (Kings Mountain Fortress). Don't really know why this one appeals to me so much. Its not exceptionally large, well defended or a very ingenious build, but for some reason I like how it all fits together.

Its also the first castle set, built on a mountain baseplate, I think. So maybe that has something to do with it... Also comes with the princess.

Ok,I gave my vote to 6077 Forestmen'River Fortress....

Nostalgia here plays great part'cause this was my very first set...

I was very young then,and now I own only some remainings of it...

In other case I probably vote for 6081 king's mountain fortress,because I think it's the most beautiful,or for 6086 black knight's castle...'cause I think it's the strongest-one....

pirates are my favourite theme,but sets alone have no chance against those beautiful castles....

If there was the Dark Fortess I would have voted it in a second,however there isn't here,so I was undecided between Flying Ninja Fortress,Dragon Fortress,and Viking Fortress.I went with the Ninja Fortress at the end.I had it (now I destroyed it),and it is an awesome set.Very big,plus has some very nice figs (especially the Shogun).

BTW,I think the Dark Fortress does compare to the sets in this poll.You could have put it instead of the Fire Breathing Fortress,it's much much better than it.

I voted for Dragon Fortress because I have two sets of it..... :-P No, that's not reason......

It has a very good colour combination...... no gray pieces...... so it can be used all the times without having the problem of "Old" "New" gray......

It also has a lot of useful pieces such the black slopes and 1x1x6 red pillow pieces..... They can be used for many MOCs.
