Carmen and Waldo

I recently spent $7 on a single lego piece (the red fedora) so I recreate my favorite villainess, Carmen Sandiego.

I also recently recreated one of my favorite heroes as a child, Where's Waldo?

And then I was thinking what a great couple they would make.

I was not the first to think of it, ( this is the internet after all) but I still think they are happy together.

When I first opened this thread I was hoping there would be an elaborate set that I would have to search for Waldo and Carmen San Diego. So when I saw your Waldo just standing there all I could think of is when Bart Simpson is reading the Where's Waldo book and it shows Waldo walking on the beach in front of all these people and Bart says, "Man, he's just not trying anymore!"

But in all honesty, your Carmen San Diego looks spot on! The Waldo is just a little crude, a bit more patience with the painting should do it though. Don't forget his cane! (...and the wizard!)

I can still remember the highly pixilated version of Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego my sisters had from the early 90's, and this looks spot on. Just one question didn't Waldo always carry books?

Don't get me started on Waldo...that guy was at a convention I went to a week ago and he swiped my legs out with his cane when I tried to catch him! >_<

Pretty neat renditions of the characters, though I can't help feeling Carmen needs her brown voluminous locks! Such is the dliemna of girl minifigs in hats...

Yeah, she was a thief. Your rendition looks beautiful. I'd like to see her with hair also.
