user Posted October 2, 2009 Posted October 2, 2009 Okay so about a month before any sign of an Atlantis theme I started making up my own the story goes... After the residents of Atlantis were turned into monsters by their own greed and technology Zeus turned them all into what they were inside shadowy hollow monsters and then banished them and their enormous city to the bottom of the ocean. Soon the City was found by a species of peaceful merpeople whose king kindly banished all of the shadow creatures into a deep sleep in a small "Forbidden" part of the city and encased Neptune in stone so they would not corrupt their own city with their greed. A few hundred years later their king mysteriously disappears. And the Atlantians awoke their bodies mutated and covered with seaweed they have know memories of anything that came before other than they want revenge and to take back their city! So eventually Atlantis is split in half to separate the two by a huge unbreakable wall. A shadow creature soon finds a large generator similar to one in the other side of Atlantis and turns it on. Now they have all their technology back to do with as they please! But what do they do with their technology you ask? Make super intelligent cyborg creatures and highly advanced human animal hybrids to take their city back! But soon the merpeople find out that they are keeping their king so they make their own armor and vehicles to keep them from doing any harm to their peaceful city! Okay so basically both teams will have gladiator type armor and their own style of weapons. The good guys colors are metallic silver, pearl gold, and light bluish gray. And the seaweed demons colors are dark green, black, and dark bluish gray plus a hint of brown. I have already made a generator for each side with spinning action a squid chariot for the good guys and a cyborg crocodile eel and angler fish (I can't get good pics of the angler but I'll try later) and a temple built by the shadow creatures to protect the Neptune statue. Here are my favorite vehicles from each team to give you a taste there is a link at the bottom that leads to my Flickr account where you can see more pics. More photos here on flickr! Quote
kill will Posted October 3, 2009 Posted October 3, 2009 Interesting story, but some parts don't make sense, mainly the King randomly disappearing (which sides King is it?) and how that would affect the Altlanteans "sleep" As for the vehicles, I love the crocodile one, but the Octopus really just has a tacked on harness and doesn't look very good IMHO. Did you look at the other pics? And the answer to your question is whenever the shadow creatures awoke they kidnapped the king. I was expecting more comments so that is why it took me so long to answer. Quote
Mission Commander Posted October 11, 2009 Posted October 11, 2009 Some parts of the story don't make sense, but the mocs are good! Quote
squidman85 Posted October 21, 2009 Posted October 21, 2009 The idea is good,i like the first one,but i think it isn't for sea mutants,it's for Atlantis People. Quote

Tereglith Posted October 21, 2009 Posted October 21, 2009 You've seen my comments on flickr, but I've had an idea for the octopus chariot - take out the connector piece, attach chains to the Octopus' head that go back to the chariot, and then connect underneath using clear rods, like the mini-podracers. I'd try it meself to see how it looks, but my squid piece has disappeared into the super-Sargasso..... O-o o-O Quote

I went along with your first idea and this is a good idea so I might combine the two but idk right now. Quote
