LuxorV Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 Hi all, I'm here again to show you my latest Bionicle MOC: a Glatorian-styled figure I like to name Dragon Warrior (maybe I should improve my fantasy in naming them, as well as my skills in building them ) So, first of all a general look at it/him here you can already spot the folded wings which are the main reason for its/his name. Bionicle experts will no doubt recognize the design from Vastus' weapon in the big axe here while the shiled is taken from the Exo-Force line (Golden Guadian from 2008) The axe can be unfolded to become a double-head battle axe It/he seems quite surprised about it This is the first time I can manage to build a wings-supporting system that satisfies me (mainly because up to this year I didn't have any modern shoulder pieces with all those nice pin holes; I just had the wave of Toa Nuva, with their one-piece blocky torsos) Spread your wings! (it's up to you to choose the Queen or Robbie Williams song by the same title) Gallery here. Hope you like it. Comments and critics are welcome LuxorV Quote
squidman85 Posted October 27, 2009 Posted October 27, 2009 Cool Glatorian LuxorV .Only problem,that he(or she ) is thin,but it's not very big problem.I like it . Quote
_shaddow_ Posted October 28, 2009 Posted October 28, 2009 I love the fact that you placed a balljoint on the torso, very reminiscent of the toa mata ! The only problem i can see on this moc is the legs' color scheme, which is a bit off, but i suppose you don"t have enough pieces to do a perfect color scheme, and for a first try, it's a really good try. I have myself a dragon warrior (in fact, my avatar), maybe i'll post it, one day. Quote

Thanks, and yes, I like thin characters, though Malum (one of my favourites) is quite te opposite I love the fact that you placed a balljoint on the torso, very reminiscent of the toa mata !The only problem i can see on this moc is the legs' color scheme, which is a bit off, but i suppose you don"t have enough pieces to do a perfect color scheme, and for a first try, it's a really good try. Well, I put the ball joint in just to have abit more detail there, but since it sounds coolder the way you tall it, I'll stick to your version from now on As for the legs, at the time I came to complete the upper legs armor, I realized I didn't have any good dark red pieces, so I had to make do with the black and silver scheme; on the other hand, I can grant you it looks better in person I have myself a dragon warrior (in fact, my avatar), maybe i'll post it, one day. I'll keep an eye on the forum to spot it when you do! LuxorV Quote
Front Posted October 28, 2009 Posted October 28, 2009 Nice to see some Bionicle mocs. I like the use of the wings in this moc, and the torso is nice. The legs are not my favorites though. Haven't noticed these axe pieces before, guess they came from a Knights set. The shield is kind of fun to watch, as I used those golden pieces in my latest moc too. Quote
